The reason the combat gel is so popular is because of who made it. The lady there was trending for awhile because of how much gel she used in her hair. She explained that she’s in the military so any stray hair is punished, hence helmet hair. People told her she should make her own gel and so she did. There was also a lady who tested her gel claiming it didn’t work and in the same sentence advertised her I think cousins pink gel. That pissed a lot of people off as she was lying to promote another product. All in all the girl seems really nice as fuck. She mixed an almost empty jar with water and showed it worked just as good as when you first got it which a lot of people liked as she was showing how to extend its life over buying more.
I was coming to comment this too, im a navy Vet and if she had made this while i was active i would have bought it so fast, taking your hat on and off all day WRECKS your slick back bun but this looks like it would totally work. (the amount of times i got in trouble for my hair not staying put because taking my hat on and off was ridiculous)

Its tricky bc Maybelline could choose not to sell in China. By buying their products, you support a company that knowingly engages in animal testing. But none of the products you buy have had animal testing as part of the development and manufacturing process. A lot of people delineate by saying the products are cruelty free (assuming they aren't purchased in China) but the company itself isn't. That said, there are enough cruelty free makeup companies that it's easy enough just to avoid the ethical dilemma if you have mixed feelings about it.
So that goes for all companies who sell make-up or skin care in China, right? Because shit, that is a lot of products. I dont even know if my country has any brands that isnt the big ass brands that sell in China.. 🥲🥲
We’re lucky that we have a good amount of choice here in the UK, we have a shop called Superdrug and all their own products are cruelty free and we have a supermarket called Tesco and their own cleaning products are cruelty free

My sister was a synchronized swimmer for years and they use clear gelatin (seriously like flavorless jello) to gel their hair into their buns and that is what the combat gel reminds me of.

I didn’t lose my mother physically but I lost her to addiction really young and I didn’t realize I started watching Mia significantly more when mama maples came more into the picture. Always loved Mia but the two of them together fills a void that 10 year old me has grasped for. I absolutely love them.
Maybelline isn’t cruelty free, and it’s parent company is L’Oréal (which is like the biggest animal tester in cosmetics) but Ilia, Rare Beauty, Tower 28, and Honest are all cruelty free and supposed to be great mascaras :) (the one I use is Florence by Mills but there is a learning curve to that mascara lol)

7:18 a really easy way to figure out if a product is tested on animals (not necessarily cruelty free because they might not sell here for other reasons) is if it is sold in China. All beauty products are required by law to be tested on animals before they are sold to the public. So if sold in China, it's not cruelty free. (Idk about the vegan part though)
Hi Mia! A few years ago I went entirely cruelty free with my makeup. If you're okay paying a little more, I recommend any of the Tarte mascaras (great quality and perfect for sensitive eyes). A great lower price option is color pop (all their stuff is awesome!) Love your channel and hope you're well!

True, that would work great. Although there are blender bottles that have little whisk balls in them, that work really well, too. And they aren't as heavy and don't need to be charged and stuff.

i bought the ta3 swimsuit after seeing your review and can honestly say it really does cinch in your waist well. its made of really high quality fabric too so even tho its expensive it will definitely last a while.
For cruelty-free makeup companies, I use E.L.F, NYX, Hard Candy, and Wet n' Wild. I only ever buy makeup from them, and their products are all pretty good! Not to mention they all fall under the umbrella of affordable brands too, so that's also a big win! Plus, those companies aren't afraid of having pops of *actual* color for their lip and eye products; no over-saturation of basic and boring nude/neutral palettes and lipsticks lol.
I think getting her mom to show the swimsuit was a great idea since Mia has a very straight skinny figure where sinching a lot simply isn’t possible but her mom has a much more pear/hourglass figure with more body fat to sinch away 👌🏻 ofc both are very pretty, just different! ✌🏻

I did synchro for 3 years. The reason I quit was the gelatine in the hair. It was SO painful to get out and it destroyed my hair

I think the blender bottle would be great for protein shakes on the go! Protein shakes get a weird texture if you don't drink them right away no matter how much you shake them, they're not advertising to the right demographic!
True, that would work great. Although there are blender bottles that have little whisk balls in them, that work really well, too. And they aren't as heavy and don't need to be charged and stuff.

For cruelty-free makeup companies, I use E.L.F, NYX, Hard Candy, and Wet n' Wild. I only ever buy makeup from them, and their products are all pretty good! Not to mention they all fall under the umbrella of affordable brands too, so that's also a big win! Plus, those companies aren't afraid of having pops of *actual* color for their lip and eye products; no over-saturation of basic and boring nude/neutral palettes and lipsticks lol.

I think getting her mom to show the swimsuit was a great idea since Mia has a very straight skinny figure where sinching a lot simply isn’t possible but her mom has a much more pear/hourglass figure with more body fat to sinch away 👌🏻 ofc both are very pretty, just different! ✌🏻
