    I used to have what my doctor thought was really bad psoriasis on my scalp that looked a lot like yours! It turns out that I was actually allergic to ingredients in shampoo. Not just fragrances and filler ingredients, but the actual surfactants. I started using tallow soap bars to wash my hair and the psoriasis went away completely. Once it cleared, I started experimenting with other, more pleasant hair washes to see if there was anything that I could use. I'd really recommend you try the same thing to see if maybe your scalp psoriasis is eczema from severe allergies!

    I do Microcurrent treatments for a living. It’s a gentle electrical current that stimulates the mitochondria inside the skin cell. This mitochondria creates ATP and that in an important molecule for lots of different functions of the body. To simplify let’s just say it can heal and rejuvenate the skin.
    Metal in the mouth isn’t a typical contraindication. Main contraindications are pregnancy, epilepsy and heart pace maker.

      I'm curious if these could have a negative impact on psoriasis because psoriasis is overproduction of cells. Quick Google says it's not recommended, but I haven't delved further yet.

    • @MarsblissGuidedMeditation
      @MarsblissGuidedMeditation 4 місяці тому +22

      @@lindsayf9225 hmm good question, Microcurrent is really good for taking down inflammation so I think it would help that. I’ve found it to be a very soothing modality to use on people with sensitive skin. I don’t think it would pose any issue to the psoriasis.

    • @YuniX2
      @YuniX2 4 місяці тому +1

      If microcurrent encourages the production of atp, is it used in weight loss treatments at all? IT seems like it could be used pre-workout to boost productivity with effects like that. Or is the ATP production effect not strong enough for that?

    • @MarsblissGuidedMeditation
      @MarsblissGuidedMeditation 4 місяці тому +13

      @@YuniX2I’m not aware of any scientific testing that’s been done to prove or disprove this. ATP is needed to fire the muscles so I would think it could give you a better workout. What I’d probably suggest would be an LED infra red bed. This also increases ATP and is an easy full body treatment.

    The infra red lights do really help when you've a deep cleansing lotion on,and helps for dry scalp treatments, also the electrical currant helps stimulate the skin cells to wake up and produce more oils and opens the folicals.
    For anyone who needs to relax and finds it herd to shut off from anything, then Yes this is a whole YOU time to try and calm down, but do think they are using a load of technical words to make you feel special, and it's all a bit hyped up.

    For anyone wondering:
    Microcurrent hair loss treatment is a non-invasive procedure that utilizes low-level electrical currents to stimulate hair follicles, promoting cellular rejuvenation in the scalp.
    Nanocurrent is a much lower electrical current, more in sync with the human body. Microcurrent waveforms can really hit down to the muscle and sculpt and lift, while nanocurrent waveforms are more surface-level, prompting collagen and elastic production. ATP is what the body uses to create many things, including collagen and elastin. So the more nanocurrent treatments you do, the more ATP production, and the more long-term firming effects you're going to see from it.

    • @poppyasher
      @poppyasher 4 місяці тому +5

      ATP is how energy is transported and used at a molecular level. It is literally used for every operation that requires energy in the body. PROTEIN is what collagen and elastin are made of.

    Mia, I had psoriasis that was in my ears, behind my ears and all the way up my scalp all through my 20’s and until I was about 35 and it was extremely painful and itchy but it literally just disappeared overnight!! I totally understand how uncomfortable it is bless you but I’m living proof ( now in my 50’s) that it definitely Can just disappear 🙏🏼
    Praying the same for you beautiful 🥰

    i think microcurrent is literally just microcurrent waves that helps blood flow in your scalp! which is helpful for hair growth and relieving tension😊

    Some of those things just seem gimmicky… like you’re telling me the water punch didn’t do the same thing as the scalp massage? I need the Science behind these.

    I always wash my hair twice and skip all styling products unless I am going somewhere special. I use to have a super sensitive dry scalp and scalp problems and now it is much better since I stopped using product in my hair.

    Looks relaxing, but the lady didn't seem like she knew what the machines do. Honestly, it sounds like they put a bunch of technical words to make it seem like the treatment does anything something when in reality its a scalp wash and massage that gives the end result. Way to expensive and useless to do monthly.

    Gonna be honest this seems like Goop level nonsense. I'm sure it felt GREAT, but yeah... "cleansing micro currents"... sure... If they're using all that confusing nothing-burger-jargon and just shooting steam at your head, it's probably just... steam. If youre just hoping there is something to justify the price tag while they use an air gun on your roots... it's probably just very expensive marketing.

    • @bina__bunny1098
      @bina__bunny1098 4 місяці тому +4

      They replaced the words "steam" with "oxygen" to bump up the price. It's just buzz words for a glorified scalp wash and massage.

    Some of this stuff is so scammy/gimmicky. The “scalp oxygenation” is an empty airbrush gun just blowing air. It’s no different from using a blow dryer or just standing outside in the wind. Like it’s literally nothing 😂

    Day 2 of asking Mia Maples to review äktiiv.
    Hey Mia I was wondering if you could do a review of äktiiv. They are an active wear brand that sell plant-based active wear that are eco-friendly and biodegradable. The prices are a little high so could you do a review just so we can see if they are worth it or not? Thanks btw I love your videos!~
