I really appreciate the way you approach charity. You always donate a ton of money by yourself, and instead of guilting us into donating, you more seem to remind us that it's an option and you create a safe platform for us to do so. It makes your channel even more safe and wholesome!
Especially because a lot of children are probably watching her content as she's family friendly and this way kids aren't guilted into spending all of their Christmas money on charity
I don’t think it’s wrong to ask for help to raise money for donations. That’s exactly what she does. She’s just very clear on how she will be helping out herself.

It's in a very down to earth matter that makes me feel comfortable. While sometimes people asking to donate to charity while I don't have the money makes me feel guilty about not giving and she has a way of encouraging but keeping it casual.

Hi Mia! When reviewing sunset cosmetics and talking about the glitter mascara, it reminded me of a story my science teacher in middle school had told her students. Basically, my teacher had played around with glitter with her kids and a small piece of glitter got in her eye but she never realized until a couple days after. She felt something that was in her eye like an eyelash but she couldn’t find the eyelash. My teacher then went to the eye doctor and after inspecting her eye he had found a speck of glitter on her lens which is inside the eye beyond the pupil. I’m not sure if you know this but the pupil is actually a large open hole that dilates based off light exposure, etc. so she had said that the doctor then used a tool went into her pupil and scraped off the glitter particle off her lens. So I understand your fear of getting glitter near the eyes. I’m sorry if this was disturbing in any way. I just felt that maybe you would like to know this story😂😂

I bought milkyskin lotion in the past. I think it was a cherry based scent. It did smell wonderful and was a gorgeous blend of purple and bright pink. Felt good on, but actually stained my skin with the color.

@@amymiles5346 it was just my skin. It didn't last very long. A couple days. It wasn't super noticeable since it was pink. Just made me look flushed. It didn't transfer to cloth that I noticed, but I tend to wear a lot of black and have mostly purple, blue and fuschia sheets since I color my hair those colors. I would think once your skin absorbed it and it was dry, if you had any staining it wouldn't be a problem. It was a nice product, but if I order again it will be light colored stuff only. LOL

Hi, sunset makeup has caused some controversy because people found out they might me dropshipping and rebranding ready products and making fake claims about them being vegan/cruelty free!
I came to say the same thing! I know they aren't drop shipping but definitely white labeling from Alibaba. There is so much proof. And no proof or certification proving they are vegan/cruelty free

Companies will try to make it seem like their giveaways are like that, but if you read the fine print there will always be a blurb that says "No purchase necessary. Many will enter [few/one] will win." To give credit to Mia, however, her no-purchase option is *very* nice and convenient; most companies choose an option that is either printing, signing, and mailing a letter to express interest or filling out some annoying response about why you deserve an entry or like the prize. I think the most annoying one I ever saw was an Oreo giveaway where the no purchase option involved you writing a 100+ word response to some question about why you love Oreos, which had to be handwritten, signed, and delivered within two weeks.
@@edelleaa (this isn't a response any more but I thought i'd share if you were genuinely interested; if not tho just ignore) While this is a law in almost all of the developed world--in part because international contests have to abide by the strictest rules anyway (side note: the EU has stricter laws than CA and the US do, so that's why a lot of giveaway contests are exclusive to North America)--Canada does have one giveaway-ish law that's exclusive to Canada. There, lotteries and scratch tickets are considered gambling under law, which is not legal at such a scale and with such poor odds. To get around this, lottery groups have to make your winnings a prize for something... so if you somehow win, you'll solve a math problem in front of the organization to prove your math skills or figure out a riddle or the like.

Mia! What I do for Kiki’s is I take the little sticker off the bottom of the box and then put it on the lipstick tube. I own a lot of her products and I’ve done it for every one, save for the freebies without boxes. Really helps!
The only problem with that lip gloss is that it contains coconut oil. I'm highly allergic to coconut. But those lip glosses look amazing

@@GreiHshe legit specifically said she uses polymer clay beads (I own a small business so I can also tell those are polymer) and polymer is 100% safe for your skin
Prefacing this with absolutely no hate towards Kiki!
She may have addressed this at some point and I'm unaware, the charms in the lipgloss are most likely polymer clay, and while there isn't a ton of worry about them melting in the bottle, they're not made with food or cosmetic safety standards in mind, its like... a relatively safe plastic.
Again, this is not to bash, more to make sure people are aware and informed consumers :) I personally love the gloss she sells and think they're so so cute!
