That supposedly you can interrupt it, so it's not broken ... right? :D Except not every class has ranged interrupt and druids have hard CC which makes you invulnerable -> not a valid Convoke target. So in duos you hang one in the air and absolutely murder the other person -> who cannot be targeted by Convoke and is slowed/CCd by your duo partner ... :D. I met lot of fae boomkin/kyrian arms duos (when I was still actually playing the game ...) who would rekt you in seconds if you made the mistake of standing too close to get doublespeared, it was ludicrous :D. And even if you didn't, Cyclone one, spear the other, game is over
Well, the trial lets you experience the first expansion for free in which you could just for example get all available jobs to level 60 without paying a single dime so why not give it a try when you got time. But just a fair warning from someone that has 124 days of ingame time. It has its own fair share problems. Mainly too many services and "microtransactions" being very expensive.
Its a fun game but you have to stick through the leveling process to get there. Early on the game will seem very slow. everything is locked behind the story quests but that's not necessarily a bad thing as the story is top tier especially in the expansions. the first expansion Heavensward is included in the free trial and its some of the best content in the game imo. get through that before you form a final opinion as ARR can be a bit weak, but if you stick through its sooo worth it

That sunk cost is the only thing that kept me going for a while. Videos like this and other creators made me realize that it's time for a break. Won't say that I won't come back, but a break is needed.
Asmon is right about Ion being good at raid design but bad outside of that. I think Ion has the mechanical mind to think up good boss mechanics, but this translates over into the main game with needlessly complex systems when in reality most players don't want to be tethered to these systems and just want to play the game.
this systems has been made becuse players where bored and was screaming for more things to do, so its a facepalm back into history, blizzard got stressed out from players who ate content for breakfast every morning. Ion, havent much left in his "what to think up next" bag for the wow players, imo. Hope TBC will be diffrent.
Yeah what do they even think, playing my monk is fun with or without conduits or faction skills. I want more content i can actually play like open world pvp zones with objectives, more dungeons, raids and different gear not just higher numbers. But we get just systems we have to spent time on farming shit to get somthing that doesn't add anything to the gameplay fun.
Such a great point. It's like the approach to raid encounters where you have to manage a new resource, a special ability, or adds or debuffs on the floor, plus your existing character actions, and the phase changes throughout a fight, movement... all that mental juggling one has to do as a role, or a raid lead... and Ion's applied that to questing and gameplay throughout the rest of the game. Everywhere you go you're juggling some new system or currency and everything is doubly or triply game-ified. Because if it works for encounter design it HAS to work everywhere else right?!
Everything you and Bellular are saying is spot on. They need to just get rid of these systems and focus on the core systems. We want more raid content and such, not all these asinine systems.
Nice to finally hear someone else think that. I've been telling people runey has the best questing system for years now. That plus the diaries and solo bossing. One of the most rewarding games out there imo

Returning player here. I had a lot of hope when leveling to 50 but as soon as a entered shadowlands I was hit with a huge wave of boredom. There are lots of bugs and just plain bad game design. So un-fun it hurts.
I really have no freakin clue what is so balanced about Druid’s convoke....
And even if you didn't, Cyclone one, spear the other, game is over
@@AdamTuxTengler exactly! I dont even pvp and i know how broken it can be in there too! Its so dumb.
The Jailer fears no one, except unleashed Bellular. Holy shit he went OFF! The Final Fantasy free trial is REALLY tempting.
Try it, if you play it seriously, you will find a better game than current WoW depending on your tastes ofc.
Like someone said it is a final fantasy first and a mmo second. Also dont fear the gcd you will off cooldown ability.
Early on the game will seem very slow. everything is locked behind the story quests but that's not necessarily a bad thing as the story is top tier especially in the expansions. the first expansion Heavensward is included in the free trial and its some of the best content in the game imo. get through that before you form a final opinion as ARR can be a bit weak, but if you stick through its sooo worth it
@@DevelonLP They're basically for cosmetics like mounts and fashion costumes and nothing you really need. The game gives you more than enough. I haven't bought a single thing in the store. That sunk cost is the only thing that kept me going for a while. Videos like this and other creators made me realize that it's time for a break. Won't say that I won't come back, but a break is needed.
obligatory "ff14 has a free trial up to level 60 including critically acclaimed expansion heavensward" comment
Marry me
Yeah what do they even think, playing my monk is fun with or without conduits or faction skills.
Regarding the BDSM paddle: "Classic" is my safeword.
Everything you and Bellular are saying is spot on. They need to just get rid of these systems and focus on the core systems. We want more raid content and such, not all these asinine systems.
