I love old curb so much more than the latter half of seasons. It was grounded in reality, about such hilariously small details that were both absurd yet relatable.
How great is it that Bob Einstein was sitting in his mansion in Palm Springs in retirement, a long life in comedy behind him, when he gets the call to be on this show and he has this late-in-life opportunity to contribute an indelible character to a classic show...?
Can't wait to watch all this, thank you brother Bubba. My two favorites (which I hope will be included) are when Funkhouser pulls out the $50 from his shoe, and the other thing is when he calls Larry a "fucking lunatic" for accusing him of outfit tracking.
Yea it's creative genius to get struggling internet random casuals to laugh hard rich privileged people's petty bs we normally wouldn't give af about 😂
Try seventies! Remember the Super Dave Osbourne Show with Mr. Fiji.? That’ll be him back in the late’70’s’til he was cancelled into the early eighties!❤ Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts Amerikkka!! I am unable to find his old shows anywhere at all, but he played a kind of idiotic Evel Knievel who would always wipe out, blow himself up with explosions and he’d usually blame it on his agent: Mr. Fuji who was responsible on purpose at times and I knew his face when I first seen him on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I honestly couldn’t remember from where! Then it came back to Me. I never knew his actual name as a kid! 🥂
“We were trying recreate what happened 25 years ago and I said, ‘Larry, would you like to make a toast’ and someone said, ‘Larry went home to take a shit.’” My favorite line in the show.
Pure hilarity, the petty 1st world problem rich privileged sht is funny AF bcuz they don't act privileged they don't hide the fact they have it good but little annoying sht pisses me off
He's not wrong lol. Funk had so many great line's. Do you crap standing up? He asks larry, "are you coming to my mother's funeral?", only after larry says yes does he offer to pay him back the money he owes him. 😂 that was one I missed the first time.
I remember the first I saw Bob Einstein was as Larry Middleman (George Sr's surrogate) on Arrested Development. It wasnt too long after that I discovered Curb and Funkhouser. Man, what a legend ❤
It’s so hard to pick a favorite character in this whole series but Marty is definitely my favorite then come Susie the comeback that lady has is off the hook. Great video thank you.
I like how loyal Jeff is, how he immediately said the guy Cheryl met on the plane was a scumbag for taking advantage of a married woman during a tragedy.
susie: she shouldn't get sick from my dinner, larry, ok? larry: how are you feeling? funkman: i'm not feeling great... susie: marty, you're never feeling great
I never knew that Funkhouser in real life is the brother of Albert Brooks who's real name is Albert Einstein... That's why he changed his name professionally to Albert Brooks.
7:40 the guy just over Larry’s right shoulder in this scene was saved by that shot, he was in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. After a few years of trying, someone watched this episode and proved his alibi that he was ACTUALLY at the dodger game the day the murder he was accused of committing occurred. He ended up being released from prison when the footage made it to his attorney.
The funniest thing about Larry and Marty’s dynamic is how anyone else would just fall out but they just forget it all like a cartoon
Same with Ted Danson, Susie etc....next episode when they first meet they are best friends again
Especially that ballgame seat b.s.!!!😂

I agree 100%. I love the older episodes better.
Totally agree

why? you hire the best. Mickey Spillane had books if you had money.
That is a great observation! I feel a little better now actually..we've lost some of the best in recent years

I have watched many sitcoms in my time... Curb your enthusiasm is the only one that I laugh multiple times out loud on every episode!
Dude me too, I actually laugh out loud over the petty privileged bs 😂
I’ve seen every episode and Curb videos here and they still crack me up 😂!
