NORM MACDONALD FOREVER
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR WATCHING

I understand we can't live forever... But I don't want anyone to die! Super Dave and Norm were incredibly talented people who I feel like never got the respect from Hollywood and TV they deserved. Complete comedic GENIUS! They will be sadly missed... However laughed at forever!
The fact we all die is what makes life so special.
@@HOTD108_ Sorry this agnostic doesn't take spiritual advice from a Quaker named "Tricky" Dickie...
Super Dave got a ton of respect he had his own cartoon, it was just his career was at its peak decades ago.
Uh, it was well known that they both had HUGE respect in the industry. They gave Norm a sitcom and dragged it out even when it wasn't popular. Bob Einstein was working constantly despite mostly being a producer. Anybody that thinks he 'hated' this, really doesn't know bob einstein. And life is pretty damn special without dying, the opposite is true, its special because its the OPPOSITE of death.
Wait, Norm's dead???
I didn't even know he was sick...
Super Dave really had people thinking he hated it. The man played his role perfect.
Super Dave was awesome!!! I watched him back in the old Bizzar days on CTV.
Was he really acting?
@@abrahame.6666 if he was really upset, he would have left the set. Despite continued complaints, he kept listening to these terrible jokes and even cracked up at times. 🤣😂
@@abrahame.6666 yes he is in character as Super Dave
@@kevindean1327 - Explain to the folks at home what CTV was.
"You WROTE that?"
"No, I didn't write it, I just read it."
"You READ that?"
It was written years ago to be fair
That is a FAVOURITE?
I’m not part of this!
My personal best moment of this episode is when Adam says "Let's roll the clip" and they just display some random Jay Leno pictures, pure gold
Lmaoo I forgot about that moment
And Adam just says "Oh yeah there is no clip"
Reminds me of that one tragedy
He said prisoners were returning to their cells 😂😂😂😂
@chrishaas1511 is a horrible name for the airline company
i imagine super dave living it up enjoying heaven care free with no annoyances
then suddenly, the pearly gates open and Norm Macdonald walks in
With a mischievous grin, “Explain to the folks on Earth…”
@@moosedawgatlantaproductions "...what hell is"
Unlikely considering his surname ends with "-stein" 😅
@@renjithjoseph7135Eternal facts
Now Bob, explain to the folks at home why they are called the "pearly gates"…
Hard to believe that all the great men in this clip are dead now.
Only Adam Eget.
Boom. Roasted
@@perryusher4759 Creed, your teeth called, your breath stinks.
Where do YOU get your ideas from because that one was FN smooth.
You need to take the training wheels of your balls!!!
"This is a podcast but it's on the TV also."
He's so unprepared it's magnificent.
He don’t look a FN cameras
I appreciate Norm explaining everything for the folks at home.
I would have been sooo lost without those parts
as a folk at home it was very helpful
For the folks at home, Norm was the guys in the middle
Adam asking super Dave where he gets his ideas is the best thing he’s ever done
I loved that so much, and Norms face was so hilarious
The absolute silence afterwards is hilariously deafening.
I'd rank it tied with on Gilbert Gottfried: "What are some of the people you came up with?" and the underrated "I think the problem is that people don't know what the concentration camps are".
That was absolutely hilarious. Still remember the first time I saw this back when it came out, I rewound that moment over and over 🤣
was also hilarious when adam asked letterman the same question. letterman just laughed for 2 minutes
Bob got the show immediately, what a fucking genius. Every time I rewatch this I realize how quick he was.
Was he acting like that intentionally?
100% he was playing a character
@Abraham E. Yeah, Norm pretty much forces his guests to play the straight man
@@abrahame.6666yeah he’s a smart comedian he’s played several very different comedic roles, rip
He was so sharp and quick
Look at Norms face, he's so pleased with himself lmao. That's the best part of Norm.
6:34
100% My favourite thing about Norm. That little smirk and the twinkle in his eye. He just loves getting people to read these jokes. And the less they seem to like them, the more Norm seems to enjoy it. Lol 😂
The worst part of Norm? The hypocrisy.
His expression when he was on the view was pure joy! They were threatening to ban him from the show and he couldn’t have been happier.
Adam Eget suggesting Norm explain concentration camps after the dog joke is top tier cohosting
Had me rolling
Norms shit eating grin when Adam asks Dave where he gets his ideas from. 😂
So flippin good
An ad break? Where are we going? The three of us could get on a bus, yell out the window and reach more people 😂🙌
"Little did it matter, Croce would be dead within the year..." is so damn funny
Super Dave's response is soooo good: "You know what I'm going to do tomorrow I'm going to watch the view". You know Norm is like, that is actually the best sledge I have got in my life.
Adam’s delivery of “where do you get your ideas from” is the best possible delivery of that line
Adam is underrated
Super Dave's "outraged" troupe is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. RIP to all the dead legends. "I'M NOT PART OF THIS!"
I thought he was serious until watching him on conan when he got his lips botoxed. I love the look on norm Macdonalds face waiting for Bob's reaction playing the straight man in the bit.
Did you just say that? You can't say that!
Adam Eget rambling about salt is the greatest gift to the world of comedy since 9/11
Yes it also reminded me of that tragedy
@@kepcar Oh 9/11...
Oh, come on. . . Don’t laugh at that.
How can u say that......I had to spend $ on a new pair of pants after walking through the blood n thr bone
..............9 11
This show was a masterpiece. Norm and Adam were trolling Dave, and he was trolling them back with his feigned anger and frustration. It was hilarious from start to finish and will be loved for many years.
The saddest part of this is we still don’t know where super Dave gets his ideas from
"Little did it matter; Croce would be dead within the year." 😂😂😂
Lmfao “you two should be institutionalized” and Adam’s like “quite frankly I was”
That was a great story. His parents accidentally made him join a cult.
Explain to the folks at home why this was the best podcast ever.
“Don’t use ‘epithet’ when you don’t know what it means!” 😂
6:35 - This is my favourite Norm face, that's childhood tier cheeky.
“Let’s roll the clip” (still picture of Jay Leno). One of the best moments of the show because how annoyed super Dave already was at his incompetence.
I love that this episode is the only one that doesn’t start with Norm and Adam doing a bit because Super Dave is just already there and interrupting immediately 😭
Lmaoo great point
Those bits were cringeworthy, still not sure if that was purposeful or not. Except setting himself on fire.
@@mikearchibald744 they weren't cringeworthy, they were the most Norm Macdonald thing to ever grace god's green internet.
@@madjack1748 Nah, have to disagree, setting himself on fire and telling people he's doing a bit, thats norm.
Super Dave roasts Norm's whole show while Norm just sits there and laughs his ass off. Funniest damn podcast in history.
Man, this show was unlike anything else. Miss you Norm and Bob!
RIP Saget as well.

"JOKE off. WILDLY different" 😂
Explain to the folks who Super Dave is.
Super Dave played "Officer Judy" on "The Smothers Comedy Brothers Hour."
He was a stagehand on the Redd Foxx show. According to Wikipedia.
He died
The Evel Knievel of comedy
Super Dave is a man who avidly shops at Ralphs.
15:22 Adam on his salt monologue while Norm just stares at Super Dave waiting for him to react is such a golden moment
"explain to the folks..." so brilliant 😂
The way Bob says “OF COURSE I DO” about juggling is so good
Who could have guessed Adam Egret would outlive both of these legends
I think most people assumed that what be the case, considering Adam Egret is like 30 years younger than Norm, and about 40 years younger than Super Dave was. Even if those guys weren't sick, it would be safe to assume Adam Egret was going to outlive them.
his secret is he doesn't eat much salt
Not a dam regret ;p
@@HOTD108_ Male prostitute coke heads have shorter life expectancies tho.
Like the bird 😂
Super Dave has the hands down funniest episodes with Norm. So goddamn funny. I love him just as much as Normy. He’s incredible on Curb as well.
I think the only time Super Dave broke character was when they told him it was live.
Watching this at half 2 in the morning and I have tears streaming down my face. I lost it at: "Where do you get your ideas from?"
❤️❤️
I did the exact same thing last week in a hotel room, 2am and somehow finding this episode, tears streaming and laughing so hard I could hardly breathe at times 😂 Super Dave staring at the camera in response to Eget's banal salt bit was the funniest shit I've ever seen 😂 RIP Norm and Bob
Super Dave may have hated Norm, but Bob Einstein loved him... And Norm loved Bob.
You need a super cut of Norm saying
"It says so on this piece of paper".
Sad for me to watch n realize they r both gone,Bob Einstien and Norm, love them both!
They say the good die young. That's why Adam over there is still kickin
And Adam Eget too, RIP
“I’m gonna take those training wheels off your balls”. 🤣🤣. Bob Einstein (Super Dave) was a comic genius!!!!
“You guys go back so far all the time”
“You told a Redd Foxx story!”
Superdave knew. ”It makes me very sad that you…” 00:40
Pause.
Norm looks at him and says something irrelevant. Rip both
Norm was uncompromising…explaining to the 18 people. Oh. I loved him
Merciless Exposition. Relentless Context. RealTime BackStory GrandFathering.
FOR the Folks at home, this was Norm Macdonald, perhaps one of the best comedian to ever walk on this earth.
Norm was loving this. He had a look of pure joy the whole time.
I appreciate that you googled the definition of epithet for the folks at home
"I'll tell you where I got it, at Ralph's" is such a funny comeback
I've never seen Bob have the slightest grin ever in a delivery on any show or interview. Look up his Letterman interviews. What a master
11:32
I can't stop watching this. Saw it for the first time a month ago. Watched it everyday since
The epithet bit is perfect
6:18
I can watch this a million times and it still makes me laugh, Egret asking the hard hitting questions.
The single best podcast of all time.
the second one and the first one was....

Anything with norm and super was amazing. I’ve never been into Golf until watching norm and super on the Masters Podcast. Effortlessly hilarious

So sad that SD passed without telling the 🌍 where he got all his good ideas RIP Bob & Norm 🪦
Norm is so happy 😂 "so for the folks at home..."
“I am gonna take the training wheels off your balls!”
That was a brilliant line just off the cuff. This was such a great show
Only just discovered this video recently and my god the bit where he says:
"Let's roll the clip"
"THERE'S NO CLIP IT'S A PICTURE!"
That mixed with the producer showing up signs saying "Let's go to a break" just brilliant.
"People might not know what concentration camps are"
I lost it.
It's got something to do with sports and young people I think idk...
"Meaner than a junkyard dog" was a common expression in the 50s 60s and 70s .
I think many people missed the part where Adam said "wildly different" when Norm asked Super Dave to do a Joke-off and he said "A Jerk-off!?"
Did they? It would be hard to tell, it's not very remarkable.
Made me chuckle
3 great guys sorely missed 😢
Sadly the big bus full of dangerous people came and took Adam back to the home
Man Norm was absolutely pounding that "Now, let me explain for the folks at home joke.. My face hurts....
Bob Einstein was a true comic, instantly realised he needed to play the straight man. You can see in other interactions with Norm that there was a lot of ribbing but ultimately alot of respect between the two of them.
"do you juggle?" LMAO that was so underrated
"a lot of things would have to go very VERY right for me to die of salt. The only thing I can pray for is I die of salt and not begging for mercy"
I've been laughing at that for like 15 minutes and I can't stop 😂
Super Dave will go down in history as the greatest talk show guest ever.
This will become a comedy classic. Props to Super Dave for maintaining the disgusted demeanor throughout the interview.
This shit makes me laugh so hard 🤣 I had never heard of super dave before, but I found out right here lol
This whole video is pretty much just Super Dave getting angry at Adam Eget.
Norm shines the brightest when he has an amazing ‘straight man’ to bounce things off of. David Letterman, Conan, and Super Dave beautifully understood this role in their interactions with Norm. In many respects, we should be giving as much love to them as we give to Norm. Their comedic selflessness is worth our admiration.
Just some of the purest comedy ever captured on film. What a show.
Explain to the folks the easiest way to make fifteen dollars in New York
I don’t think that’s so easy
For the folks at home reading this, Norm Macdonald is here hosting what we call a podcast.
The thumbnail being all super dave shocked expressions, with norm gesturing the harlem shake -- probably my favourite thumbnail in the universe
Norm will NOT let go of the joke, and neither will SuperDave.
This is such comedy gold, I have watched 5 times in a row and gets better each time.
Bob Einstein absolutely KILLED IT in this, I cannot believe how well he established and kept character.
Super Dave was a huge part of my childhood. RIP
"you guys go back so far all the time"
"you're the one... you told a Red Foxx story!"
The fact Super Dave never broke is amazing
Super Dave and Norm were an awesome pairing. Would've loved to seen more of them. Norm probably one of the most naturally talented comedians to ever live, all he has to do is grin because you know its coming. LOL RIP Cant imagine what a comedy show in Heaven will be like with all the greats that have passed on.
We went over words before the show!!😂🤣😂😂😂😭😭😭😂🤣😂😂😂
Seriously the best interview ever made🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
“Extermination attempt against the jewelry of Europe” was so fucking quick
2 masters of comedy in the same room
Norm didn't think many people were funny. He thought that Super Dave was funny, and it shows all through this.
The empty frames on the wall crack me up
How have I never heard about Super Dave before?! This dude is hilarious😂😂 genius
Watch the old Super Dave clips! You’ll die! 😂
I love that he broke character a few times throughout the podcast but nvr enough to give the game away
This is some of the funniest Super Dave stuff I've ever seen. He was such a weird character when I first saw him on Dave Letterman back in like '84 or something, I wasn't sure if it was an act or not. This performance is like he's come full circle and he's really going for it on this one.
"Explain to the folks" 😂
Explain to the folks
Great video, also you should do another one on when Super Dave called into the show (it was still during S1 of Norms podcast) I believe it was ep.8 or something.
The editing on this somehow made the masterpiece even better
still cant believe it man. its been this long and it still feels like they died yesterday. i just cant comprehend that these legends are actually gone. celebrity deaths usually dont affect me on an emotional level but people like Norm, Super Dave, Patrice O'neal, Gilbert Gottfried were all such incredible and incredibly funny people. comedians nowadays are a buncha lame-o's, nobody alive right now even compares or comes close to any of the deceased greats
I die laughing every single time I see this
Norm was genuinely delighted watching Super Dave do his thing. Best episode of all time.
“You know what this show reminds me of? I’m about to drag race, revving the engine at 8000, and right before I go somebody tells me there’s a problem with the engine. So I’m hitting the brakes, sliding around at 90mph, smoke everywhere. That’s this show” 😂😂😂
"How sad is it a talent of yours has to do this!" HA HA HA these two were my favorite. You guys are missed.
Norm looks unwell this episode
The title of this vid is incredible. I thought I’d hate Super Dave and now I love him.
