muchas gracias por compartir algo tan hermoso Dios lo bendiga
Hi am looking to start practicing this technique, really learnt a lot from your channel! But what fabrics are used ? I was thinking tulle or organza? Any seeds of knowledge you would like to share in this regard?
Most of the time the fabric is silk organza. That is the best fabric on which to learn the technique. Once the stitch is mastered it can be worked on tulle , lace chiffon and many opaque fabrics as well.
good job
Thank you
Hi mr. Heaven, i have a question, yesterday I began to exercise with the tambour hook and i noticed that the thread ( polyester )makes friction with the fabric ( i used tulle ) and it's difficult to use because i have to pull too much, i tried with other fabric but its the same, what can i do?
One possibility is the thread tension is too tight ....let the thread flow with no tension one it is on the hook. The type of thread makes a huge difference as well . I use what ever sewing thread is on sale ad avoid the expensive brands because they do not work well with the tambour hook especially if they have a tight twist to them.
Robert Haven thank you very much, i'll try following your tips! one last question, what number of hook do you use in this video? and in the first video( when you show the technique )?
