Большое спасибо за урок! Вы очень грамотный и успешный учитель.
The best tutorial for learning this kind of embroidery!, lots of thanks!
Oh wow I have had one of these hooks for years (got it @ a flea market in a box of sewing machine bits) but I could never figure out exactly what it was for. I tried crocheting with it but alas not very good for that, lol.. Have had many theories from others too but now I know!!!! yeah!!!! lol. I am so going to have a go @ this now thanks to your fab tutorial. Thanks so much, Nina, New Zealand :)
OMG this is such a great video! I saw 1 and 2 and now I see how to make beautiful things using this tool. I had gone to another site but their tool was called a tambour tool, and it looked a little more difficult to use than this tool. I'm inspired, now i want to go and by the dang tool! Thank you for showing!
this is the best lesson ever thank you a lot❤i adore it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
very clearly explained, I have been trying to do embroidery with this method but some threads come out of the cloth while taking out the needle...I suppose I have to practice a lot....thank you for explaining clearly...
amazing handwork .. love it
beautiful tutorial, needle is very good and very easy thankyouto stitch,
I found the splicing tool for fishing bait works the same way. It is smaller in size and has a latch.
I need one of those thread cutting rings.
very nice

You can buy a latch hook at any craft store, ie. hobby lobby, jo ann,
الشغل حلو وواضح جداااااااااااااا
Isnt that just a re-marketed latch hook. It looks like it would damage delicate fabric.
omg i love this and i love uuu, peace for you dear
hoooooooo, maravillosossssooo
I have used this and it is true that the hook leaves largish holes if you keep going back. My biggest problem is that once I reach the end of a row my stitches pop out. I think that this is because I do not maintain enough tension but am not sure. Technically this is easy to use but apart from this dvd there is no instruction and Clover will not answer any questions asked.
So what's the different between this one, and the tambour needle? do they do the same thing pretty much? I'm wanting to try something with beads and sequins.
+Roseyredful - the tambour needle doesn't have the latch. It's like a latch hook, but not like a latch hook. It's like a tambour needle, but not like a tambour needle. It's like a tambour needle and a latch hook got together and had a baby and the Kantan device is their child.
@Celticswynd Try and search for the tambour beading tutorial by tambourbeader on youtube. It shows a thinner hook. You might like it.

Alguien me podría decir en qué material se hace este bordado? Gracias!
такой крючок и другие размером в локалях repuesto для вязальных машин.С разного типа такими крючками. Ручку можно приделать самому.
eu tambem queria saber onde posso encontrar as agulhas , moro no brasil
@pstokkermans they put on the package that the holes might not go away.
I did not try yet but the needle looks like the same as Knitting Machine Needles. Normal Knitting machine or the Dubied machines. IF, IF so, you can make the handle with Polymer Clay. Pay Attention this is Just a suggestion! I will try afterwards.
Where can you get that see-through fabric?
hi what kind of thread do i use let me know thanks
Looks like one technique is worked from underneath and another is from the top. Are both techniques used at the same time?
can I do aari work. from this latch hook.... looking fa uva response....
Hi, my concern is the damage from the fabric from the large size of the hook itself.
what is the fabric???
Como puedo consegir una aguja cartan
hi what kind of fabric did you use on this video? thank u so much
someone tell me where can i get this needles pleas
You shouldn't use that ring because the tension applied to the fabric when trying to pull on the thread can rip the fabric.
Yeah the hook looks positively destructive to the fabric.
thank u......
From where can get this hook in Pakistan . Is it be available in Pakistan?

does this work on any types of fabric or oy that fabric you used? btw what's the name of that fabric?
+elisa michael - organza and chiffon are often used for this, but you can also use it on voile or other thin fabric to good effect.
elisa michael
- if it's a very fine (think size 100 crochet thread) you might be able to use it. If you have the tool, you can experiment with the threads you already possess and see if it will work for you. But most of these are working with rayon or synthetic silk or silk.
No, mate, I'm not a vendor. But you could look for a local lace making guild or group and see if they have lace making days with vendors attending. (that's how I get my equipment)
I also picked up Clover's threads from Amazon and I think they were a bit on the pricy side (the spools are *tiny*), that's why I suggested getting rayon threads for machine embroidery, they're often cheaper than the itty bitty spools from Clover. They're about the same quality.
im sorry to ask but its a special thread?
+Cots Puchi - Clover sells the threads they use with their tools; however, any fine thread could work (like the rayon thread used for machine embroidery).
superb I want this needel pleasehelp
Hi Vashitha, you can order this tool on amazon. It will ship out of our headquarters in Japan. We are currently back ordered in the US. Link here: www.amazon.com/Clover-beads-couture-needle-japan/dp/B002KLZ2KK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1519858158&sr=8-4&keywords=kantan+couture+bead+embroidery+tool It
Where can I buy this hook?
Hi Daisy. It is currently out of stock on our website but it looks like Amazon has some in stock right now: www.amazon.com/dp/B000XAHBQS
I found this tool at www.clover-usa.com/product/453740/9900/_/%22Kantan_Couture%22_Bead_Embroidery_Tool where I watched all those cool stuff for crafters. I was curious how the technique would work and searched here at youtube. The funny thing is that I already have a tool like this from a german producer. I don't remember where I've got it from, and I never knew where its for. Now I know and it's great. I think mine is very very thin and wouldn't make big holes. But I didn't try till now. It's from Inox, which now is named Prym (I think so).
I do it faster w/ a needle. A simple needle.
Yikes it’s poking big holes into that fabric.
Hi Regina, Yes it is! You would ideally use this tool for bead embroidery. The holes have to be big enough to fit a bead through..
Can u please tell me what the needle is called.. please..??
The name of the tool is "Kantan Couture" Bead Embroidery Tool, Clover Item No. 9900
In india this is aari needle.can be asked for as 0.5 tulip japan.thread corchet.
it's a latch hook needle. These are used in rug making so look in that category.
Totally crap! The hook is far too thick. It punches holes in any fabric. The good way too do it is with a tambourhook ( no latch) .Extremely difficult technique to master.
No good!! this will ruin your fabrics
You can find the Clover Kantan tools at your local larger national sewing supply stores with the embroidery supplies. I found mine at Hancock Fabrics for $4 instead of $11 because they were discounting them. They'll also have them @ Hobby Lobby and maybe even Walmart in the craft section. I haven't checked there yet but you never know with them. Also bead supply shops should have them too.
