Wearing #1 is sadly a curse for some major superstars. Just look at Penny, Amare Stoudemire, T-Mac, and again Derrick Rose. Could be just pure coincidence but hey... Just sayin.
Penny was my favorite player i had the shorts and the jersey his shoes i was a fanatic about basketball he helped develop my game i had hops lost it but im im watching these vids for inspiration again Penny you was the man
Grant Hill and Penny were the best players all around while they were healthy. Take a look at the 96 playoffs. Bulls vs Magic. Jordan nor Scottie could hold Penny !!
MJ is such a legend, his compliment's never rest!!! Not even on Penny Hardaways Top ten plays lol!!! This is for Penny and yet Jordan gets the attention! WTG MJ!
I loved watching Penny, without injuries he would have been one of the top 5 guards of all time. 2 things about him always amaze me. 1. How he finished a lot of the spinning over the head shots with his left hand, and 2. how great a jumper he was off 2 feet, so fast and powerful for a guy so slim. If you ever get a chance go back and watch some of his most dominant games. He was amazing.
Magic has seriously had a star studded cast over the years. Shaq, Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady, Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, Dwight Howard, 3D, Horace Grant... Man.. How have they not won a championship?
He was soooooooooo smooth. I remember watching him play and he just seemed to be moving so much more fluidly and so much faster than everybody around him. Magic Johnson with a legitimate jump shot and a much better first step.
that the damn truth. i don't know why, but the 90's was the golden age for the nba. i was lucky enough to have witnessed penny and shaq, stockton and malone, payton and kemp, and reggie miller was lights out. damn those were the days
Penny was my favorite player growing up. I'd argue that he and shaq would've been a more dominant duo than Kobe/Shaq or D wade/Shaq. Unlike Kobe and d wade, penny was a passer first and a scorer second. He loved feeding shaq in the post and only scored when necessary. Penny only became a scorer while shaq was hurt and after shaq had left.
The great thing about Penny Hardaway was he wasn't a show out player. He didn't spend his career acting like a fool after every great play. He just hustled back on defense. Its something missing in today's NBA.
This guy was NEXT. The young kids will never know that but Penny had all the tools to be a hall of famer. Injuries destroyed what could have been just like it did for Grant Hill.
Would we talking about LeBron, Jordan, Kobe, etc in the same way we talk about Penny had they only played 2 seasons without knee problems? Penny never even reached his peak, yet he was amazing. Most thrilling player ever in my book
Penny Hardaway epitomized 90's basketball, he had that street flair combined with incredible athletic ability. What a talent, such an exciting player. It's a shame about his injuries. On another note, why was Ewing always posterized? LOL
Penny is my favorite player ever...
Why not kobe??
@@titojayboy601 why not penny
나도 그래요~ from 한국팬!
@@juancfloridoWow you came back 6 years later and still love penny
@@josuearacena6851 Because time doesn't stop Penny from being his favourite?
Damn, he was so cold with the ball. Why did he have to get injured? History should be different.
Word
injuries killed his career but built his legend ..only god knows how great he would have been
as for me this top 10 alone puts him in the Hall of fame
Wearing #1 is sadly a curse for some major superstars. Just look at Penny, Amare Stoudemire, T-Mac, and again Derrick Rose. Could be just pure coincidence but hey... Just sayin.
Frankfurter109 him and d Rose both wore #25 as well
penny is still my favourite even after all these years haha :D
He had one of the most fluid games out there. A damn shame.
Penny was my favorite player i had the shorts and the jersey his shoes i was a fanatic about basketball he helped develop my game i had hops lost it but im im watching these vids for inspiration again Penny you was the man
penny was one of my biggest idol when i was in middle school
Penny is a legend in my book!
Whenever i think of Penny Hardaway, always the same 2 words come to my mind: What if?
Grant Hill and Penny were the best players all around while they were healthy. Take a look at the 96 playoffs. Bulls vs Magic. Jordan nor Scottie could hold Penny !!
One of the most dynamic players to be in the league, love watching this dude and the lil penny commercials haha
My favorite player when I was young
More, more, more highlights from the good old days.
90's NBA was the best!!
Greatest player ever named Anfernee. Seriously, Penny was my favorite and it's sad that injuries brought him (and Grant Hill) back to Earth.
one of my fav players of all time (while with the magic)
Ohhh... How we have forgotten...
I once saw him grab a rebound and pass it behind his head before he hit the ground and I can't find it again
penny my favorite player! he was pretty tall for a PG!
You had me at #10...and to those who think of Tmac when they see that jersey....DAFUQ man!!
MJ is such a legend, his compliment's never rest!!! Not even on Penny Hardaways Top ten plays lol!!! This is for Penny and yet Jordan gets the attention! WTG MJ!
#8 shows what a great defender jordan was that he almost anticipated this sick pass while beeing midair
between him, and Shaq, those are my 2 favorite magic players ever
I loved watching Penny, without injuries he would have been one of the top 5 guards of all time. 2 things about him always amaze me. 1. Ohh man!! It's been a while since I've seen him play!
LOVE this!
Magic has seriously had a star studded cast over the years. Shaq, Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady, Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, Dwight Howard, 3D, Horace Grant... Man.. How have they not won a championship?
Penny was pure magic with his passing skillz. If it wasn't for knees injuries he would of been in the top 5 playas of all time.
My All Time Favorite Player
I LOVE PENNY HARDAWAY AND THE ORLANDO MAGIC!!!!!!!!!
One of the most fun players to watch from the 90's!
for a few years back then there was a heir for magic johnson...the player he was, one of the best i have seen ever.
wow, now i understand it, thank you !
Muy buen recopilatorio, lástima que ya no siguió jugando a ese nivel
that move on starks should be #1
The poke on Ewing should've been the one.Damn! Goosebumps!
Penny and T-Mac. Number 1 for Orlando. So much talent. Injuries suck
My favourite player of ALL-TIME. My inspiration... My Idol...
#1 that might be the best pass I've ever seen.
Idk bout u bt that is the best pass ever
Pippen has a better pass. Half court behind the back.
That's not better considering Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were doing that before him.
larry bird is trash to magic at passing, but nice joke
Not gonna lie... #7 was one of the coolest shots I've ever seen
I knew that no look over the shoulder pass would be number 1. So sick.
Love to watch this dude
last one was dimeeeee omg I'm in love
Wow how did you get your hands on such high quality highlights, props dude.
0:18 i remember when i used to had those penny hardaway shoes ...
Dam you don't get basketball moves like this anymore. Nothing like 90's basketball.
Best player of all time in my book when he was healthy.
So good at finishing with both hands.
amazing
One of my favorite players growing up. I feel sorry for the younger fans who were not able to watch him play before his injuries took over.
cant wait to see him in the celebrity game
i miss this guy
Penny was awesome
And that's why HE is a LEGEND !! ;)
LEGEND.
He was soooooooooo smooth. I remember watching him play and he just seemed to be moving so much more fluidly and so much faster than everybody around him. Magic Johnson with a legitimate jump shot and a much better first step.

Caralho! Joga muito mano, séloco! Eu nao conhecia nao
Best underrated player tht played in the 90s
One of the smoothest ball players ever. We all wished that he could've stayed healthy!
1:45 hahaha the ref was like "just get up already"
I miss you Penny.
Man i miss these guys. Its not the same for me anymore
#3 was sick
Yes it was sweet DAVID!
The great thing about Penny Hardaway was he wasn't a show out player. He didn't spend his career acting like a fool after every great play. He just hustled back on defense. Its something missing in today's NBA.
One of the best pg
I was just watching Blue Chips :D
basketball is a beautiful sport.....
the fact that #1 was a pass shows what a great all-around player he really was
#5 4 3 and 1 were my favorite plays
Penny, Shaq and Grant...Best ever...
This guy was NEXT. The young kids will never know that but Penny had all the tools to be a hall of famer. Injuries destroyed what could have been just like it did for Grant Hill.
coz this guy I started love Orlando Magic...
#1 was just ridiculous wow
my fav ever.. knee injury kills him....but he still my man.. and there are a pretty nice shoes too...
Damn, this homie's a NINJA
I'm a Chinese.There are many Penny's fans in China.
amazing hardaway
great great player
there will be another magic johnson, but the creativity penny plays with reminds me of magic a little
WIthou Hardaway , Orlando is no more MAGIC anymore...
when see him playing at the time , u will clearly know the meaning of "unstopable"!
Penny was LEGIT back in the day but injuries got the best of him. he was on a HOF track too.
Underrated.
Would we talking about LeBron, Jordan, Kobe, etc in the same way we talk about Penny had they only played 2 seasons without knee problems? Penny never even reached his peak, yet he was amazing. Most thrilling player ever in my book
penny is a ledgend.
Too many to chose from, Im surprised his move on Voshon Lenard didnt make it in. Thats my all time fave Penny play.
Penny had some sick shoes too
#9 is CRAZY
they did a great job to make big penny look like little penny. big penny almost looks real!
Penny Hardaway epitomized 90's basketball, he had that street flair combined with incredible athletic ability. What a talent, such an exciting player. It's a shame about his injuries.
On another note, why was Ewing always posterized? LOL
