I have had a mi band for the last 5 years. It's really a great tool to gather fitness data. I suggest buying a custom strap. It makes it look more expensive than what it is and the straps can be more comfortable.

Very good review. You just reminded me that I need to make my 1 year later review of using the Mi Band 3. Ill probably pick the Mi Band 4 now and compare the two. Because Mi Band 3 is only in black and white/green and Band 4 has color and is more customized

I wish they could have somehow worked out a deal to have The Google Assistant available on the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 to be on par with the Chinese version that has the Xiaomi Assistant. It's also awesome that it syncs sleep, steps and heart rate data to The Google Fit app.

there are a lot of other watch faces available outside of the mi fit app, you can even have a customized watch face for mi band 4, just google mi band 4 watch faces, apps are also available in google play

The Galaxy fit is around a hundred dollars ( + tax). But the mi band 4 is less than 40 dollars, you can get one from eBay for around 30 dollars. And if you're mainly just using it to track your step or sleep times, or even as a digital watch. The I band 4 is more than enough with a much friendlier price.

Mi band 4 is affordable but it lacks the things that I need. I have one and the brand is Trands. I can monitor my BP, heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level, monitor sleep, count steps, 2 weeks standby battery life etc and the price is only 49usd.
I'm using my Mi Band 4 for 16 days and it's very good for daily use, and I bought another strap (Metallic) which is the Mijobs brand and now I can use it for casual and formal attire. I bought it for only ₱1,498.00 ($29.00) I'm watching from Philippines btw 🇵🇭
When the sleep alarm goes off, do you need to press and hold the screen for a few seconds like with older models? Or is it like newer fitbits that are too sensitive and turn off at the slightest touch?
I get more than 2 months between charges. And I've had it nearly 2 years I don't get people saying it last 2 or 3 weeks? Going to upgrade now and want something with similar battery
After Mass advertising from Oshen Watch co I ordered one 3 months ago It never arrived, So I went with this Mi Band 4 it is great and paid $35 amazing battery 1 week later only 5% was used.
Thanks Thao - it looks like a major improvement over the Mi Band 3. I had the Mi Band 2 and then the Mi Band 3. I was disappointed - I couldn't read them outdoors in the sun, and they had very little info on screen. So I ended up getting the Amazfit Bip which has a trans reflective display, which is colour and super bright outdoors....and can display much more info on the watch face. I will stick with my Amazfit Bip, it was only $ 55.00 and the battery gives me 40 days use.
I have the mi band 2 & 3. I bought both for around 15 euros each. So I expect big prize drops in just a couple of months for the mi band 4 :) They are really worth the money, big bang for your buck. Get a smart scale from xiaomi and you got everything you need with the mi app ;)

@@thao I was just wondering because I go outside for a run every morning, and I like listening to music when I'm running, so having a feature like this would be convenient.
My only gripe about the band is it didn't want me to control my music while i was working out. (I run btw) it's a good thing my BT headphones has its own controls. Hopefully the issue will be fixed with a software update.. oh yeah, other than that, it's awesome..

5 ATM water resistance rating and can track swimming (haven't personally tested that). I washed dishes with it on, no problems. Screen does wake up and occasionally scroll when splashed with water though..
I bought it 5days ago. It’s really awesome. The band monitor sleep at night but what about day time sleeping, does u know? Last day I slept @3pm to 5pm (approx.) but the band didn’t include it on mi fit app🤨🤨🤨 It’s totally disappointing 🥴🥴🥴

You should've for the xiomi amazfit! It's got all the fitness features, kinda looks like an apple watch, lightweight and I charge it once a month!

No you can't, but why would you want that? There's no storage or music Streaming off just the band
