- The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 finally arrived in the mail and I wanted to show a quick unboxing and give my first impressions of the device. It’s been 1 day since filming this and first impressions of the device are that it is extremely comfortable to wear, the screen is the same size as the galaxy fit but just as bright and vibrant, and I have not seen my battery drop a single percentage point throughout a day of light usage. There is raise to wake you have to go to your profile and go to my devices and tap on mi smart band 4 you will find lift rist to view info.
I'm really curious about the brightness and whether you can change it becuase it has always been my biggest gripe with Mi Band 2 & 3, they were unusable in harsh sunlight.
Yes it has adjustable brightness and it looks to be on par with the fit. I'll be sure to bring this up in an upcoming video. Thanks!

As a mi band 3 owner i can tell you that the battery life is good with constant heart rate and sleep tracking i am getting 2 weeks but if you don't use it constantly you can get closer to 20 days. If you are looking for a fitness tracker mi band 4 would be a great choice PS the raise to wake the band isn't enable by default so you will have to turn it on in the settings app

I JUST got my Mi Band 4 And Let Me Tell Ya, It's AMAZING! It Is Crazy How Many Watch Faces And How Many 3rd Party Apps There Are To Squeeze All Of The Juice Out Of This Tiny Band. It Is Amazingly Built And Supported By Many Apps That Makes This Band A Great Choice For Geeks Like Me And Other People.

@@ShaneSymonds I have had mine for almost a year and love it the battery lasts me about 14 days depending on how much I use it.
I was traveling on a bus and my mi band 4 counted 1500 steps! It's pretty accurate when tracking actual steps but i don't know why it does that when I'm traveling. How do i fix this? Could this be fixed in the settings or in the mi fit app? It's a huge downside for me and it's extremely disappointing since it messes up the accuracy of steps taken for the day.
You just ride on a very bumpy bus lol I haven't had issues when travelling. But I'll keep a closer eye on in during my testing
@@ShaneSymonds i don't know about that, the road isn't really that bumpy but even if it is, i don't think it should count 1500 steps in 45 mins while traveling
Next time you are traveling.. tag behavior "transport" and/or what ever else you are doing. It will learn and become more accurate in turn hopefully.
They are making the next one Mi Band 5 will be available in 2020.

I purchased the Fit e even when the mi band 4 was available. I am loving my fit e. It's so accurate and more importantly, It syncs with S Health which is one of the best Health apps in my opnion.
Just wondering is the music control compatible with Spotify? As I don't use the stock music app on my phone.
The music control will control anything playing. Works with UA-cam as well
You can play pause forward track reverse track and adjust volume but adjust volume is very small

I am always having charging problems with the Xiaomi band!

@@ShaneSymonds I try to charge it but nothing happens. I have tried multiple charging brickes and it still doesn't work .

Try an other charger. Use a charger that says only 5v, 1amp on it. No fast charger or something else.

5:19 battery level 25% & 6:08 the battery drained to 23% any explanation???
Not sure what was happening at the timestamps but it did just get set up for the first time and it had an update that took a few minutes. You certainly don't have to worry about battery life. It's 317pm at the time this comment and 3% has been used all day so far with screen brightness up and receiving frequent notifications

I bought mine just a few days ago and so far, everything seems to work fine. The main thing that bothered me is that the band didn't fully charge, only 99%
