This surprised me. I've had my eye on the mi band 6 since it was rumored to be on the horizon. I had expected a better turn out, especially seeing the mi band 5. As someone who uses wearables to keep an eye on various disorders, I greatly appreciate thorough testing
Still pretty good for a $40 fitness tracker. Step accuracy in line with most trackers (good), sleep was still accurate for total sleep/deep sleep, just missed the 2nd half of rem (any other watch around this price point is far worse), and HR while poorest performing was likely a fluke (previous gens more accurate) , multiple comments pointed that out, and I can't find similar corroborated reviews of wild heart rates (likely sweat+not tight enough near wrist). The next big jump in tracking is going to be upwards of $100, the Fitbit Inspire 2 but with smaller greyscale green/fewer features.

Love these scientific medical tests to keep a check on what these large tech companies claim as health features. Would love to see how these companies improve over the year or if tech and their algorithms can get just as good as medical devices or close enough to a call negligible difference.
Believe me sir, this is the best ever actual review I have watched of any device. And I have been on UA-cam watching reviews of different products since almost a decade.
With the last update the device works great , compared the device readings wtiht he Garmin and it was good the heart rate sensor was a bit slow but it was accurate , measured the oxygen along with a specific oxygen device and it was very very accurate.

This is the first Fitbit I have used. It has some new features ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbkrje8Y7BaqRkAjimw-55ajvVo7RbcIp and I like the information that it gives me.I think the phone app could be designed to be a bit more accommodating, as it can be confusing to use. The rubber band is comfortable, and normally I do not like rubber bands for my watches, but this is comfortable.I am looking forward to seeing if this helps me stay accountable in my fitness endeavors!My only gripe is the box was very damaged when it arrived, however, the tracker is performing perfectly!

At First, this is a really well done review, you can see, that there went so much effort in it, really good👍 I just want to say something to the heart rate, I have compared it to an Apple Watch, and the Mi Band 6 have gotten pretty similar results in the heart rate, maybe they have done now a Update, because I think the Apple Watch has a pretty accurate tracking. In my comparison was the Mi Band only 2 or 3 beats behind the Apple Watch and sometimes it was exactly timed with the Apple Watch.

I’m so glad I saw this review. I was debating between this, the Fitbit inspire 2 and the Fitbit charge 4. I already own the mi band 5 and the sleep accuracy is quite horrible. I had zero sleep last night but the band recorded 7h of light sleep and 4 min of wake time. To me, accuracy is everything. I have severe insomnia due to ptsd, so keeping my sleep and health in check is crucial. I know a watch can’t do all the work, but it’s nice to buy something that suppose to work. Thanks for all the reviews on all the watches. Still debating on which watch to get with the most accurate/close to accurate sleep, steps and heart rate monitoring. Keep up the amazing work. I also have garmin venu2. i feel i want to sell it off because its apps only shows sleep tracking graph for 1d and 7d only. No way can see sleep tracking for 30d or 1 month. I watch this video because i am searching for garmin venu2 solution for its failure to provide such basic data presentation

In my experience, the heart rate monitoring function seems to be spot on and always following along with my activity level. When I'm in the gym, I can always see on the chart where I did my sets, so the results in the video were very surprising to me. My only problem so far was when I'm not active the band sometimes measures a higher heart rate than what I really have, so perhaps the opposite of his finding, but I can always fix this by doing a manual measurement, or it fixes itself if I don't notice. I don't know if it's the updates that make the difference or if there are more confounding factors, so your milage may vary. So far, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I also have garmin venu2. i feel i want to sell it off because its apps only shows sleep tracking graph for 1d and 7d only. No way can see sleep tracking for 30d or 1 month. I watch this video because i am searching for garmin venu2 solution for its failure to provide such basic data presentation

The software of the Mi Band 6 has updated, but no changelog related to heart rate, can you do a test on this to see if the heart rate has been fixed?
In my experience, the heart rate monitoring function seems to be spot on and always following along with my activity level. When I'm in the gym, I can always see on the chart where I did my sets, so the results in the video were very surprising to me. My only problem so far was when I'm not active the band sometimes measures a higher heart rate than what I really have, so perhaps the opposite of his finding, but I can always fix this by doing a manual measurement, or it fixes itself if I don't notice.
I don't know if it's the updates that make the difference or if there are more confounding factors, so your milage may vary. So far, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
