Do we have to bring the phone along with us while exercising or swimming? I was hoping to be able to do away with the phone while counting steps or swimming.

Can you silent calls in your phone using the Mi band 4? i just got mine and the silent button in the band only stops the vibration in the band but not on the phone.
It may display an instant reading when opening up the heart rate app but it won’t be a valid reading until it has measured and averaged out around 10 of your pulses. That’s why the reading will slowly converge onto a reliable true value. My band mostly starts with a value around 70 then slowly converges onto a true reading which it displays when the heart symbol stops flashing.

Hi I normally wake up at 6 am in the morning but that mi band 4 start counting my steps from 7 am instead. Could you tell me how to reset it to start counting the steps from 6 am instead please? Could you tell step by steps as I am so now with using the band like this. Many thanks

can you please fix the brightness setting? It keeps dimming itself down to 2 bars after a few days. Then I go into settings and turn it back up, and a few days later its reset itself again.

thanks. The Mi band should follow your phone time format. try pairing it again with your phone and allow the necessary settings from the phone.
I liked your review. I am planning to purchase this but I am quite new to MI bands. How does the notification works? Does the phone has always to be connected to the internet or it has to be connected to the band via Bluetooth?
As far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong)... the band and the phone always have to be connected via Bluetooth for the band to display the phone's app notifs 😊

Yesterday I bought the Mi Band 4 in Germany for 25 Euros. I compare the heart rate with a classic Heart rate Monitor with a classic chest belt. Almost accurate- amazing. Pairing with my Smartphone gives fairly good GPS Monitoring with Logging. Even the Sleep Monitor was good. This little thing can fast become Addictive, I would like to export all those amazing Data onto my PC to review it better than on the phone. I recommend this little Wonder Machine to anybody! A Life Trans Former! Electronics Opiates. Will become illegal!

Thank you. You can't install apps on band itself or even connect a bluetooth device to it. Apps are on the phone and you can set notification on the band.
With the sleep alarm, is it a simple tour on the screen to turn it off, or do you need to hold that little button at the bottom for a couple of seconds? I had an older Mi band that made you hold it and I really liked that feature. Looking to see if the new bands still do that.
With the Mi band 4 you can just tap 'X' to turn off the alarm and 'ZZ' to snooze. No need to hold it for a coupe of seconds.
So bluetooth should be open all the timein ur phone?

You can read the full message on the Mi Band 4 but you can only reply with your phone.

Yes, there is an option which allows you to see the screen by just raising your wrist. But there isn’t an all time on option.

I just got my mi band 4. When I go into band display and pick a watch face, it is able to download but stuck on "syncing". The phone app just displays the syncing until I force exit. The band never registers the syncing.
Try unpairing an pairing again. Make sure Mi Fit app is also updated.
I hatw how you need to have location on for it to sync going to be returning it
M band 4 is compitable with I phone 11 ?

No need to uninstall and reinstall the Mi Fit App. You need to remove the old Mi Band 3 from the Mi Fit app and make sure that the Mi Band 3 is not connected to phone bluetooth. Then you are ready to pair your Mi Band 4. Some of the data will be transferred from the Mi Band 3 to 4.
Unpair Mi Band 3 then update Mi Fit App. Next, pair Mi Band 4.

Does Mi Band 4 track day time sleeping? If yes, is it automatically or we need to do any manual settings?
No need to set just wear the band while you sleep.
Do you know if this watch marks lapses? I mean, when the stopwatch is running, can I mark / save the lapses by turns and see them later? To know how much I did on each lap
The stop watch can mark but the running workout no can do.
I succesfully connected my whatsapp to my band and it worked fine yesterday.however this morning I woke up and the whatsapp was no longer synched to my band. I already reinstalled my mi fit and reset my band to factory setting and re-paired to my mi fit, but still I did not received any whatsapp notification . Could someone help me out here and explain what should I do? thanks in advance.

Hi. Just got my mi band 4 all good except for weather not functioning. Set location on app but device just says connect to mi fit for weather???? I am in UK.
Try going to the Mi Fit app, go to the Mi band 4 settings. There should be an option that says Weather settings. Make sure the City is 'On' for 'Get location automatically'. I hope that helps mate.

Does the Mi Band 4 automatically go to the language of the system from the device that it connects to, or do you manually select the language?
It is automatic with your phone's system language.
It automatically detects your phone language but for now it only supports Chinese and English.
Is it possible to add more watch faces in mi band 4 as it just shows 4 and I want like 10-15 watch faces in the watch itself so that I can change the watch face whenever I like even when I don't have my phone
I don't think that is possible, you can add watch faces using the mi fit app
yes there are apps for mi band 4. But only 4 are installed in the band. If you change clock faces the most recent one will be in the band with the 3 that are always in it.
My MI Band 4, which arrived yesterday, is the Chinese version. I cannot get the watch itself to switch to English. It's now English in my MI Fit app, but watch is still in Chinese. Help, please
I am using the Chinese version and it synced with my phone language. You can try pairing again. If not try switching phone language on you phone and see if it work.

Currently there's no flight mode. You can turn off the bluetooth from you phone and use the band as a watch. When you turn back the bt on it will connect back again.

It has the same find band option in the Mi Fit up which makes the band vibrates.

you don't have to but remember to turn on your bluetooth then sync after you wake up to sync the data over to the Mi Fit App.

Hi, BP is not available yet in all Mi Band Versions.
How does the lock screen on the setting work?
it requires a passcode to open the band in the event that you left your band somewhere and someone find it. They cant access the band and get a hand on your data etc...

Currently it does not support google assistant. It comes with an AI version but only works in China.
