      You know what… I’m not sure if I did put those back in or not🤣🤣🤣
      If you have parts leftover you just did it better than the factory could!! 🐺🐺😁🤣

    First of all, what an adorable device. Second, kudos to you and your patience. I probably would have gone full-on Hulk-fury at the first sign of resistance. Nice one!

    Just a heads up man, It wasn't the case on this one...but sometimes there are screws under the decals around the actual screen on the front and some hot air will pull it up. Just like you did on the back stickers a quick press will usually let you know if there is any holes under it.I have broken tooooo man shells because of that BS

    So I had a question I have NHL 95 on sega and I can’t get it to work I bought it as working and i checked continuity and I’m getting that everywhere when I start the game it’s just black screen so I’m not sure what Iam missing eney ideas

      Since you already checked for continuity. I would try to polish the pins really good. Maybe use some brasso or something similar. I’ve had cartridges that I’ve cleaned with IPA not work and then when I polished the pins they booted. If that doesn’t work you can test the diodes in the ROM chip. I have a video on how to do that:
      ua-cam.com/video/4WrGvrlH6OU/v-deo.html
      The other thing about that cartridge is I’m unsure if it will only work on a Genesis Model 1 or if it will work on the others too. Some of those older games will only work on a Model 1 Genesis. Let me know if you get it up and running 🐺🐺🐺😁😁😁

      @@wolfmanrepairs did not know that mines a model 2 and the pins looked really good but I could go over them with eraser and see what I get I appreciate the help thank you

      Here’s some info on the compatibility issues: nerdlypleasures.blogspot.com/2018/09/sega-genesis-compatibility-issues.html?m=1
      NHL95 was not mentioned but I also could not find an exhaustive list of games with compatibility issues. 🐺🐺😁😁

      @@wolfmanrepairs thank you I was also gonna let you know the cartridge has its own dedicated resistor on it so I ordered one of those my meter did not have the diode mode but there’s another way you can test them in resistance mode and I was not getting resistance on it and I also order a 47uf 16v capacitor as well but I will change out the resistor and see what I get first

    This is not the ARCADE version. This is NES on a chip.

    • @wolfmanrepairs
      @wolfmanrepairs  4 місяці тому

      I wonder if they did it that way because the NES is easier to emulate than the Arcade version? Or did they just pick a random ROM and it happens to be the NES version?
      I definitely never played the NES version but I probably played the arcade version at some point in my childhood. 🐺🐺😁😁

      @@wolfmanrepairs I have all the NES games (Galaga, Galaxian & Xevious) and they are identical. Only the console has a crack - unofficial version. The console is famiclone (NES on a chip - blob chip).
