    Good job preserving these, they can also be used with NES, TG16, Sega CD, and a bunch of other systems

      Thank you!!! I feel like there’s a finite amount of these old video games / peripherals around and it’s important to save everyone that I can and also show people how to save them!! 🐺🐺😁😁

      Personally use one with a Famicom, Super Famicom and JP Mega Drive. Very nice how versatile it is. Wish Nintendo didn't use a proprietary plug design in the US SNES.

      That SNES power port is also always broken and it’s a pain to replace!! 🐺😁

    The splicing job was honestly better than the diy barrel plug repair, those sometimes break for no reason. The white plastic inside them is crap.

    • @wolfmanrepairs
      @wolfmanrepairs  3 місяці тому

      The barrel plug does seem unnecessarily cheap. I mean it won’t even screw together right!! I will use it for now and if it does break I will have to make a follow up 🐺🐺😁😁

    You always get me excited to get broken stuff to repair. If i ever get camera equipment to do UA-cam, I'll definitely share some videos with you. Excellent repair buddy I guess my previous comment got deleted. Add a drop of super glue on the threads and on the inside of the strain relief to reinforce it. Besides that excellent work look at you go wolfmann!

      Thank you!! Go for it bro!! I’ll let you in on a little secret… My camera is a old S21 cell phone!! It gets the job done. The rough part is editing you need a halfway decent computer for that.
      I didn’t see your other comments. Not sure why UA-cam deletes stuff like that. I didn’t even get a notification about this comment.
      I wound up doing that off camera to hold everything together and shrunk the heat shrink around the wire and connector. It’s nice and sturdy now!!
      Let me know if you need and tips on equipment and whatnot to get your channel up and running!! I will be glad to help!! 🐺🐺🐺😁😁😁

    Console 5 for the win. Do they still send a free atomic fireball with your purchase? Such a simple but nice addition.

    • @wolfmanrepairs
      @wolfmanrepairs  3 місяці тому +1

      Console 5 is pretty great!! The last order I received did have a atomic fireball 🐺🐺😁😁

      My first order didnt. My second order was $50+. Got one in that. Supportin console5 as much as i can

      I just got an order from them yesterday it was about $35 and it had a fireball. I always pay a little more and do the boxed shipping option that could be the fireball deciding factor!! 🐺🐺🐺😁😁😁

    So. Where would the *FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER* aka the *FOOL BRIEDG REKTIFIAH!!!!1* be on this unit

    • @wolfmanrepairs
      @wolfmanrepairs  3 місяці тому +1

      I believe the bridge rectifier is the series of diodes on the board. There really isn’t much on this power supply. You got the transformer cap and diodes 🐺🐺😁😁

    When I replaced my capacitor it looked just like that. Pretty sure it is glue.

    • @wolfmanrepairs
      @wolfmanrepairs  3 місяці тому

      Ah ok awesome!! I guess SEGA didn’t want that capacitor to go anywhere!! 🐺😁
