I came in tonight after working on my camper that started as something to keep me occupied as I care for my 89 year old mom. What started as a cosmetic fix has turned into an almost total overhaul! I too found leaks then more leaks and I was so discouraged. Thanks for the right perspective. I’m trying to enjoy the process and all the many skills I am learning. Your camper is CUTE!!

Those two little areas with the bubbling, though super frustrating, don't deflect from the all round awesomeness!!! I think once you've used the camper a few more times you won't even notice them. If there's a fix for the shower walls you are definitely the Girl who'll find one!! I've seen you push on when something hasn't worked out and you've been down about it. You have always got back to it though and worked out a solution. That has impressed me the most about you. Not much will defeat you with that attitude to life. 😊 I Love the little decor choices you made too, they are so cute, the signs and little lights were my favourite. Nothing tops today's video more than the pallet wood shoe racks for design and function, they look so good!! Your gel stain has been a winner wherever you used it, it's a nice shade! It has it's down sides... stress, working too late, not being able to sleep because my mind won't stop, neglecting other duties, and so on. Oh WoW,the glamper camper is really looking awesome..I love the look of everything white and then you can add pops of color with the accessories wherever you want. I sure wish that I was more skillful with all the decorating and handywork as you are!! This is so beautiful! You have worked so hard on this project - it's so inspiring to see this project unfold! The leak must be so frustrating after the care you took to redo all the seals. Bubba is so darling to watch!
NJ Family glad to hear that you have it fixed! My husband says next time to try spraying Flex Seal on the outside of camper in the area of leak and that may help. He has friends who did this with a leak on their camper and it worked. We also used it on a metal porch roof that was leaking and it worked. You can find it Walmart .
What I think is awesome is that you are showing things that are going wrong instead of letting viewers believe everything is going smoothly. I absolutely love the second version of the table, it fits perfectly with the decor! You have a real talent for looking at something and re purposing it. I love Xander's chatter in the background. Hey, Living the Silver Life-DeAnna, and I just love what you've done with your RV. We have a 2008 Airstream and went full-time in April after selling our house. We did some remodel with ours too, and like you not everything went perfectly as planned. But in the end, we are thrilled and having a great time. You have a great attitude, and I know that you will get the water issue worked out. You and your family will have years of fun in store tooling down the road. It will be such a blessing. Have fun!

I just came across this video. Kudos to your hard work, dedication in dealing with issues, and all while taking care of your adorable child. My only suggestion is having your son wear safety glasses when he is that close while you are working with wood.

I just found your channel and love it! 💕 We do enjoy our RV though it's just hubby and me most of the time. But our adult children and son in law and GRANDchildren take 2 trips a year in our campers and have a sweet time. We're so thrilled they have RVs now as well. Memories made! Love your cute little project! If you ever want to do a redo in your shower, try screwing tin on the walls! That's what my hubby did in ours! He used a solid grey tin. It has the ridges, but we don't care!

Maybe remove the fabric and give the thing a bath in dyed water? No clue if that would help or just make you have to repaint for nothing 🤷♀️ ...would soapy water help locate it? I know that's good for air leaks... Could you take the siding off and re-do it? And buy a bunch of matching flex-seal??? 🤔💡 I know I'm just suggesting things that cost more than I know and take loads of time and work, I'm so sorry, wish I could help!

It was def coming in at the awning, (i didn't seal a screw hole area) and various people were telling us that one leaking area will travel to various places. So we are hoping we got it now! time will tell! (: thanks for the suggestions!

I so felt your frustration with the RV leaking, I too would’ve felt sick about it, but like you said you have to stay positive, it’s really minor compared to other things that happen in life ! A helpful hint - you may know about them already ,but honestly command strips work wonderfully in a lot of situations , no hole repairs , of course not good for everything though . Love the shower rod , you may have started a new trend ! By the way I think a lot of us say cute , I sure do all the time lol ! Speaking of cute ,your little helper, right by your side 😀

I just found your channel and love it! 💕 We do enjoy our RV though it's just hubby and me most of the time. But our adult children and son in law and GRANDchildren take 2 trips a year in our campers and have a sweet time. We're so thrilled they have RVs now as well. Memories made! Maybe remove the fabric and give the thing a bath in dyed water? No clue if that would help or just make you have to repaint for nothing 🤷♀️ ...would soapy water help locate it? I know that's good for air leaks... Could you take the siding off and re-do it? And buy a bunch of matching flex-seal??? 🤔💡 I know I'm just suggesting things that cost more than I know and take loads of time and work, I'm so sorry, wish I could help!
thanks! glad you enjoy them! we actually did a lot of prep work before we started on the inside. But we think we may have found it. It was def coming in at the awning, (i didn't seal a screw hole area) and various people were telling us that one leaking area will travel to various places. So we are hoping we got it now! time will tell! (: thanks for the suggestions!

Everything looks absolutely fantastic ! I so felt your frustration with the RV leaking, I too would’ve felt sick about it, but like you said you have to stay positive, it’s really minor compared to other things that happen in life ! A helpful hint - you may know about them already ,but honestly command strips work wonderfully in a lot of situations , no hole repairs , of course not good for everything though . Love the shower rod , you may have started a new trend ! By the way I think a lot of us say cute , I sure do all the time lol ! Speaking of cute ,your little helper, right by your side 😀
