Sherri I loved the flat frame, the hobbit door from a mantle clock and the wooden block fall sign. Yes please keep doing this type of video. Love, love, love them!!
What a fabulous idea for a rather plain pillow. It turned out like one you would find in a nice home decor store. I loved all of your projects. They are so original and unique.
So my husband told me these two pictures of frogs were very old prints, his mother gave him well, one day I opened them up and started to laugh, they were calanders, I had to show him his mother made these he was bummed but I kept them in our garden room they are really pretty. 😂😂
I know I tell you all the time, but you blow my mind with your creativity! I cant wait from week to week to see what you’re going to do. I made some mushrooms and painted them but was at a loss how to make a woodland vignette but am struggling with what container to use. You gave me a couple of ideas with your frame and nest project. Thank you. I wish I lived by you..we would have so much fun crafting toether❤
I appreciate you. Your channel warms my soul. The way you explain as you create and teach is comforting. I look forward to every single post. Your creativity is unmatched ! Thank you being beautiful and genuine ! 🦉💛🌿🦋🦅✂️🌿📚🌼🦜🪺🌳🕰🪜💡
My favorite was the Currier and Ives picture frame. I like that you challenged yourself with the "ordinary" finds at most thrift stores. Thrifting has become more and more difficult and expensive in my area.
Yes, please~more of these! The hobbit house is my favorite, although the owl frame is a close second ☺️ you are quite creative and I can totally get into your styles!
I love the use of the cups. I stack cups and add lace doilies or antique cloth ribbon in them to add interest. I am glad word art is out, as now there is an endless supply of inexpensive wood pieces to reuse!
@@CanterburyCottageI would love to use autumn 🍁, once pressed flat in books. Just not too close to the candle. The cool thing is you can use chipped cups or reuse good cups later on.😊
I love the natural woodland frame with the 🦉 owl and the way the bright orange squirrel transformed into a more neutral color for the fall blocks display!!🐿 Great video!!
I love the clock with moon and flowers...the frame is priceless...the black vase is incredible...the pot was simply amazing so fall festive..... I loved what you did with the mugs...the votive candle was just the right touch....the frame was beautiful a simple life for sure...the hobbit house made from the clock is so dynamic...the blocks are very nice...I love the squirrel...the fabric is such a beautiful touch on the pillow...😊😊😊
Good afternoon, Sherry! Can't wait to see what magic you create today! Hope you are staying cool! ❤ Bobbie xoxo. P.S. They all turned out beautifully, especially the decoupaged frame and the pillow! Yes, please do have a "part 2" of thrifted upcycles! ❤
Good afternoon, Bobbie! So hot here today-and after the lovely autumn weather we’ve been having. Luckily, we went to the local apple orchard last week when it was still cool.
The coffee cup idea into a floral arrangement/candle is genius, I would’ve never thought of that but then I’m not artistic at all I’m a person who is more 2+2 = 4 that there’s a definite outcome and it makes sense in the brain. Lol
Just when I think your crafts can't get any more imaginative there's another. My brain is exploding with new ideas. All of these make me want to live in your world ❤❤❤
I’d have to say the cup candle holder is my favorite; it’s beautiful and something a person like me, who is not all that artistic, could probably copy. Thanks Sherrie❤
I feel like I shouldn't get rid of anything when I watch your beautiful creations, but probably wouldn't turn out with the touch of love you add to each piece. My favorite was the hobbit one. God bless, Mary
I'd agree with so many others that your creativity is AMAZING!!! I think to myself...how will she come up with ideas...but you always come up with such unique things!! I love how you put birds, butterflies and small animals on your work. Those pieces always remind me of you. My favorite was the upside down vase & the fairy/hobbit door.
The pan modpodge was a great idea! I have the bottom pot of the old, 70+ year old, mom's pressure cooker. Now I have a great idea to keep it for display! Thanks again! Loved all today's projects ❤😊
I absolutely love the picture frame with the paper decoupaged around the edge. The updated mantle clock is perfect because I have one!!! And the fall blocks with the squirrel is adorable. I can’t pick between these 3.
What lovely projects! I sit here, often with my mouth agape when I see the wonderful ideas you come up with! Honestly, sometimes I am truly astounded! I love the the Hobbit clock house, in fact I love them all - they all heralded the promise of autumn with their beautiful warm colours using nature's own bounties. NOBODY can transform unwanted items like you can Sherry and I mean that! I would love to see more of your thrift store creations and maybe you could include a lantern or a mirror 👍 With love from the UK - Ann xxx
You outdid yourself in this video, Sherry. It's hard to pick a single favorite, but one of them is the Currier and Ives print decoupaged onto the frame. It's so simple, but unique!! And the MOON!
Ideas galore! The picture frame covered with the Currier and Ives print really sparked my interest! I thrifted an old book of these prints so I have multiple seasons and topics plus three appropriate frames! Your suggestions on positioning and light Mod Podge are right on for this project! As always your inventiveness amazes me! Before watching this one, I was remembering when I first saw your work, I loved you then as now, you just keep getting better and better!
My goodness! Every time I thought, “Yes, this is my favorite”, your next project became my new favorite! 😂 the “hobbit” clock is adorable. I’m hoping to find such a clock at my thrift store. I’d like to try it. ❤
Hey friend! My favorite was the coffee mug project. Primarily because it's something I could actually do. 😅😊 Looking forward to fall outdoor decor. Thanks for being awesome, Mrs. Sherry! Loved the fairy door too!
I really love the topiary made out of the wire vase! that is a rare item to find and you, Sherri found it! Looks great as a topiary with your miscellaneous lid. Unbelievable. Also, the pot you turned into just a silk flower arrangement with a nest in it. Unbelievably cute. Never would’ve bought a pot to make it into a vase.!
You certainly rose to the challenge you set for yourself, Sherry! I enjoyed all your projects, but the floral arrangement with the upside down wire vase really impressed me! I could see that for sale in a local high-end boutique! This has to be one of my favorite videos of yours!
Sherri, I don't know how you come up with all these creative ideas week after week....your talent is boundless. Thanks again for the inspirations and how to turn simple things into works of art.
I LOVED all of these projects, Sherry, and I appreciate how common /easy to find these items are in the Thrift store! The blocks, pillow, sauce pan, frame, mantel clock are some of my favs! EXCELLENT work, as always! 💜
Hello Sherry! Yes, please, revamp some more thrift store items. Love all your creations, as always. I see light globes, glass vases, figurines, and organization boxes, cases, etc. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful ideas and inspiring us to think outside the norm. 😊
I loved the hobbit door clock. You sure make us think of the possibilities. I wish I were at least three people to do even half what I would like to do for projects.
Yes! Absolutely would LOVE to see more like this! More clocks would be great because you are the QUEEN of repurposing clocks! The two in this video were just fabulous! And unlikely items turned into fun ideas like a pipe turned into a candle holder or a lamp. You are great at those, as well! Your projects were so good that I’m going to watch this again and take notes on what to look for when shopping! I gotta get one of those moon shapes from DT. I would add a small string of lights hidden behind the moon to make it look like it’s glowing! That’s what I’m going to do if I can find a moon shape. I bet Cricut can cut a similar shape if I don’t find it at DT. Also, doilies used in unusual ways would be a good idea. Almost every time I thrift I bring home more doilies, from large to small and dainty and I just love their charm. Just WOW on this one, Sherry! Autumn hugs to you!🍂
I loved every project you created! So beautiful! I enjoy thrifting because you never know what you’ll find. Something my husband and I try to do is donate something in the place of new finds. It helps thrift stores to replenish their stock and keeps the attic or spare bedrooms free from clutter.
oh my goodness Sherri!! these are all fabulous! I was especially struck with how much I loved the Simple Life frame with the Currier and Ives print....and thought for sure it would be my favorite...but then your DIYs just got cuter and cuter! I just can't pick a favorite this time!!

Yes I look at things differently in the thrift store now. Thank you

I really like the idea of using old prints to cover picture frames!
Thank you, Lisa! I think even faded ones could look good!
I think it’s a great idea ! for the nasty, damaged book pages, pictures you get for free often.🤗
