//////Lyrics:
I'm sorry baby, but I can't afford to stay.
Your good, kind treatment will worry me someday.
I love you baby, but I'm gonna have to say goodbye.
Woman, I got to move, I really got to fly.
[Chorus:]
Same thing every morning,
Tell me what's it all about.
I get those same old blues every night.
I miss you already, baby, more than words can say.
Seems like I've been gone twenty-four hours, more like a million days.
I love you baby, you know I wouldn't tell you no lies.
If you don't believe I love you, look at the tears standing in my eyes.
[Chorus]
Here I am back home, baby, I'm back home to stay.
I love you babe, never more will I go away.
I won't hurt you no more, baby, ain't gonna tell you no more lies.
No more running 'round, no more phony alibis.
[Chorus 3x]
Enjoy!
Tears flow always from this 73 year old vet when i listen to this man.
Clapton is a real guitar player. No one trick pony. You name the genre he'll play it, and not just well, but near the best. Country, rock, pop, reggae, orchestrated, Jazz. This versatility is why he, IMO, is the GOAT. It's not about being the best at one form, it's the versatility that is the separation.
The best living guitar guy
No effects on his guitar, straight through the amp. He sound is pretty thin, yet he still conveys his emotions better than anyone else. Who else does that? Nothing to hide behind.
The very underrated Jamie Oldaker on drums, RIP.
Agreed I love his feel, pocket, tone everything!
El segundo solo es aterrador en el mejor sentido de la palabra. CLAPTON IS GOD!!!!!!!
This was the last tour for "Blackie". He played it at the Carl Perkin's tribute concert later in 85, and then no more.
Clapton forever ❤️❤️❤️
I have watched this many times this is by far the best version that Eric ever done
By far the best
I find this version too bright. I think this version has more guts to it. I find ua-cam.com/video/rhrqZP_qVyU/v-deo.html
That second solo is killer!
its crap
What was so bad about it?
the tone is horrible and thin but thats of course my opinion.. the actual solo is boring and has not tension.. hes just playing an average pentatonic solo... it was really erics worst period.. he said himself in his book.. im a big fan and hes played amazing solos in the past but this one was painfully average.
@@andymccallum8090 At his ''worst'', he's still the greatest!
@@andymccallum8090 I love this eighties tone, with chorus and violet lights. Eric always play in pentatonic scale, is this a problem? No, I think. In Cream he did great solos, but I love his 80s.
Behind The Sun..Album
Flashback. Eric At His BEST....,
This is fantastic awesome blues of Eric Clapton music for ever and ever.
Fantastic. Cant beat clapton playing the blues
CLAPTON IS GOD!!!!!!
Clapton is god!!!
Or, at the very least, proves the IS a God.....
@@nymsmacgregor7232 that's more likely to be it
MAJESTIC
Damn the camera wouldn’t even show the backup singers they were so f*cking hot! EC never should have let this band go! Real Talk
yeah. I think its the one he had at Live Aid
Eric is a great composer. He always has something to say with that Strat.💖
Eric Clapton is a Guitar King....
Great song,album,concert,band and decade.
My first Clapton show was upstaite NY,this tour❤
It just doesn't get any better then this. i just knew he was going to crank that guitar
Effortless excellence.
Blues is boring for some of you but you got to have it to know what is all about.
Just great.
Sick guitar tone.
I was there that night brilliant
Me to fking brilliant
@@georgerabbetts5084 you replied to your own comment?
@@whodat9673😂😂
the master
Same Old Blues...............
that is why he is master on guitar
this was horrible compared to his 90s guitar playing and 60s... horrible tone and average boring playing not very impressive compared to his work with cream and his journey man period
Bob Bob you are fucking Crazy? He's playing fast and Full of passion!
full of passion? maybe. this was his worst period of guitar playing tho.
@@andymccallum8090 I'd ask you to watch his solo on holy mother from the 86 Birmingham concert. Awesome

got guitar god guitar
Eric's playing is great - but the best is the drummer's mullet
Don't forget the dancing
i prefer the other version with mark knofler in 2007 it was great
But all down to choice I luv this one best
Both are amazing love Clapton beast 💙💙💙💙
Wish he had held on to Blackie so he could still pull her out every once in a while. Oh well, I guess a million dollars for a rehab center in Antigua isn't too bad.
Some artists have to change once in a while - otherwise their art becomes boring or they get bored
EC is my all time fav, but this is not his best effort. He was drunk all day every day in the 80's so its amazing he could play at this level.
Colerain Fan because Clapton is god on a guitar
Are you serious?? That second solo was stunning!
What a poor comment/opinion.
Not his best effort? It is perfection. It is the blues, not a pop song. It's sang with emotion.
He was sober in 85. It definitely shows here
This concert (minus this song) was shown on MTV in 1985 and really ignited my interest in Clapton and his work. My love of his music has only grown over the decades, and I have a particular fondness for this era. I discovered his music during that time and found it to be far superior to the vast majority of music that was being made.
I'd rather listen to Eric's one note than those show off playing 1.000 notes per second...in my opinion thats boring sleepy 😴 time... and can't even right a decent tune...Boring 😴
If he was loaded, still did a good job.💊🍺🍷🍹🍸
He was sober in 85, it shows in his playing
Boring...
yeah not his best period.......... my dad saw him around that time and said he was shit
If hes boring, what gets you going. Cause music IS a individual taste. Just asking.😃
I think the 80's got us all.I don't even remember much. LOL😷
Everybody can have an opinion - yours is bullshit.
Only the boring would say something like that.
Hey, it's not your thing, but it ain't boring.
