I love the way JJ offers the mike to Eric.......and Eric like the gentleman he is, quite vehemently refers to better judgement - what a champion! These guys are the real deal for sure. Only wish we could carry it on somehow.

On this full video he says he considered himself a song writer not a guitar player but I agree his note choice was amazing... sounds like him and only him. With say BB King (another master) you sort of knew what was coming just before he played it, but JJ simply surprises. Fantastic!

They don’t play right on the beat, but a little behind it-until they don’t. It kind of adds a chug-chug to the tunes. Cale’s lead lines also defy the rules. Love this stuff.

Clapton has such a smooth, groovy style. JJ is crisp talent.
