//////Lyrics:
A modern man with an old-fashioned heart.
One look at her and I fell apart.
I was always the one playing it cool.
I got caught in the act, now there's no turning back.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
I got caught up, bought up, strangled, tangled in love.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
A long black dress and the call of the wild.
I was a fool to think she was just a child.
Out of my mind, out of control.
Knew that feeling too well, tried to run but I fell.
Chorus
I never meant to feel this way,
Now I always want to stay...
Chorus
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
I got tangled in love, tangled in love.
Enjoy!
'Behind The Sun' is one of Eric's best albums from front to back. The hooks are sublime.
agreed; such an underrated album
august 461?
My favorite from the Armani era for sure!
Yes! Every it's song is breathtaking!
Yeah, I dug it out for the first time in ages the other week and I was really surprised by just how good it is from end to end.
This song reminds me of my husband. It came out just before we started dating. 34 years & we’re still together.
Great Song. Brilliant solo at the end of the song! Clapton a genius on the guitar.
Tim & Donald the best🔝
Clapton with Blackie - closing solo is sublime
Caught this track at a complicated period in my life. Fitted perfectly and that's what great music does.

My favorite tour was called "Behind the Sun" in the mid 1980s. Search youtube for "Eric Clapton live 1985 Hartford. Behind The Sun tour " to find and enjoy it. Eric was really at his prime at the time.

Great song and many others from the album Behind the sun CTRAPPERBEATTY
what a gem
just GREAT
Maravilhoso, como sempre...
Wow
Solo could have been higher in the mix, but great solo. Clapton normally uses 11 gauge strings on his electrics unlike most of the other well known soloists who use much lighter strings. I believe Jeff beck used 11 gauge, SRV used up to 14 gauge but tuned down to make them more flexible. The lighter the gauge the easier it is to play. I think, but I could be wrong, EVH used as low as 7 gauge.
True 😆 🤣
It's very good, but the sound mix is wrong, and the guitar is not audible enough sadly
Wich name have Woman , wich sing witch Eric?

Ah, Eric's 'Miami Vice' period. Few good tunes, glad it didn't last too long. Same goes for his time with Phil freakin' Collins.
Your crazy these was some of the best years of his career and Phil Collins is a great musician
Wtf? Clapton produced some of his absolute best music during the 80s!
