    Leash opposition is a technique that I don't often see people using, in real life or on YT. Rick taught me leash opposition in the early 90's.

      @@AndyKrueger Absolutely same here, it makes the "stay/pas bouger" command super clear for dogs, and the dog's lightbulb moment when it clicks is beautiful to watch.

    Hey Andy, LOVE IT! I was actually gonna ask for some more videos like this, on the last QA. Video's where you show, how to play and train at the same time. I have a 1,5 year old "intense" working line Golden Retriever, and she was starting to take control of the whole family, but then I found your videos, together with Ivan and Mia Skogster videos, and it has totally change my relationship with our dog. we do 3-4 short high energy tug/retrieve sessions in our Apartment everyday (3-5min), and when I go to the park and train (on leash), I really try to get the energy up for the engagement. Now she knows I can't be pushed around, and I'm SUPER fun to play with. THanks alot!

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Рік тому +1

      Depends on your perspective and understanding. No, there are no videos titled ‘Making a high dive dog calm’! With a few simple ‘tricks’. My patreon is for the dedicated dog owner that is willing to follow all of the videos and take the time and effort to help their dog. Making a high drive dog calm is like saying, do you have any videos about making a race car slow?
      You must understand your dog inside and out in order to manipulate their drives and state of mind 🙏🏼

    Can you do a five minute on the French Ring Sport basic commands, like assis, debut, couche, viens ici, au pied, and pas bouger? I remember some of the pronunciations from back in the day, but don't want to sound like an idiot when I finally show up to our local club. I also want to get Maxine's training pretty solid and proofed in new environments. The funny thing is I've been training super hard off leash, when I changed it up this morning and worked on leash, she was a bit confused. 😵‍💫

    Hello Andy, fantastic videos thank you very much. If I can ask for some advice i have mixed malinois, i picked him as a puppy from a shelter (someone just threw away bunch of puppies in the forest) my dog is 5 yo and he is aggressive after Boxer attacked him. I am not able to simply enjoy the walk not even talking about going via public transport or car. I've tried multiple trainers but they usually just have border collie and looking surprised at my dog. I would love to take my dog outside the city out of the leash at least but it is not possible due his unpredictibles. When he was young one trainer suggested to avoid him to get into contact with my friends sheltie, however my friends shieltie its the only dog he is not being aggresive to. Thank you very much
    EDIT:
    This is exactly like my dog

    You obviously are a great dog trainer. I wish I could learn from you, but I cannot. I really wish that you would explain your teaching technique in a way that the viewer can understand and emulate.. For me, it just looks like a lot of footage of you randomly playing with your dog, accompanied by music. It would be so helpful if you could lay down a track of you talking into a mic, explaining what you are doing, instead of laying down a track of music that does not help the viewer. Sorry to be negative, but it is just so frustrating. Obviously you have a great technique but I cannot learn it from you. It is far easier to learn from trainers like Fenrir, who explain the theory and the technique in excruciating detail, so that the viewer can learn from them and implement the same with their own dogs.

      @@cherylmillard2067 Exactly. Spoon feeding isn’t always the answer. You need to take inspiration from my videos and use your own skills to figure out how to create it with your own dog. This is how you become successful. Someone else can’t do it for you.
