It's getting worse though, where the truck just won't start for a couple days. I'll try to find code given in the morning and hopefully remember to update everyone else here!
I had to crimp on new battery leads. Its had a misfire so fugured it was coil tja finally went.kuput. I just replaced my coil nothing... couldnt figure out until i found your video.. Thank you!!
I have a ford five hundred 2005 limited and tye battery on my car died. After I changed the battery, the horn started to blare and the engine wasn't starting. Apparently, it was an issue with the passive anti theft system and it wasn't allowing it to start. The solution is whenever you change the battery on this car one is supposed to take off the positive terminal off and then another person needs to sit in the car and hold the key to start the engine while pressing a small black switch which is under the left side of steering wheel near driver's left knee, at the same time when you try to start it another person need to connect the positive terminal and the car will start. The dealership asked me to tow in the car and said they will charge 200$ for it. Additionally, before I put in the new battery, when I jump started the car, I saw all kinds of lights like check engine, check transmission, check charging system and now after changing the battery and doing the above steps all lights are gone and car worked fine and I hope it keeps driving fine.
For code 16 what relay is that for? You saod 304 but what does it run? I have an 08 super duty 5.4l with code 16 and im trying to cross reference relay 304 to what ever relay mine is that i need to pull for 30sec.

The 96 van has a metal key, no chip. But the lock cylinder has a plastic with contacts and the airbag light flashes 13... 🤔 No transponder coil on the column switch...
Ok I have the same problem my f150 just stopped running. I thought it was the fuse and it was the fuse for the alternator. So change that turned on then it just stopped working and and first I thought the pats changed it and ignition switch changed and ran just fine. Then it stopped again this time key in ignition and turn key to start no crank, but cranked from the solenoid and started. Now it will crank but no start. Fuel pump good and can hear it. Anti theft light is on. Don't know what else to do...
Bro, little help if you don't mind. I pulled a 16, and I've replaced everything but the computers thus far. My excursion is an 02, and the fuse box is under the dash. Do you think it's still relay 304 to reset, or is it different? I tried 304 and noting changed. HELP!!! LOL I'M A DAY OR TWO AWAY FROM AN EXCURSION BONFIRE AND BANNING FORDS FROM MY DRIVEWAY FOR LIFE.

Does the truck start after pulling the relay out. I lost my key and had locksmith come out make me a new key

lost communication with the ppm maybe a bad relay, power , ground or pcm
