@@flamingwoodz X Cup is such an impressive feature. It’s comparably easier to win the Grand Prix but the courses are Frankenstein’s monster realized in unique artificially generated fashion.
This game is indeed hard as balls I struggle at beating the later difficulties. The hardest part is that your rival always gets top position every single goddamn race so if you don't take him out (which is hard to do) with a slide attack, you're spending the entire grand prix trying to catch up to that 1 person who suddenly gets god tier rubberbanding. On top of that the drifting slows you down to a crawl and sometimes you will auto drift which drops your speed a crap ton.
Oh just wait til you try playing this game with a full size steering wheel and pedals from Hori. It'll make you feel like you're playing the AX arcade machine at home. 😉
@Majora_T it's known as the Hori Nintendo Switch Racing Wheel Pro Deluxe. I own one of these babies myself and it's honestly one of the best $100 purchases I've ever made. A total game changer of how I play X on the Switch. I highly recommend it. I'm honestly hoping that it'll also be compatible with the Switch 2 should Nintendo ever drop F-Zero GX on it.
diddy kong racing in my experience is not super hard to beat the main game. even though the last few stages and bosses can be tough. but trying to 100% it though is a different story. N64 racing games i always found to be really hard is Aero gauge and those Extreme G games

Even the idea of sacrificing health to boost is wild. It adds a level of risk reward to the gameplay that you can’t avoid if you want to win.
yup this game rules in just about every way. thats why its so hard for me to pick my favourite being this or GX

Isn’t not that hard at all. I beat all the modes easily. GX is way harder. There are harder N64 games. Diddy Kong Racing is harder.
