I have an 04 Odyssey with the V6 . . should I do its valves? It seems pretty tight still 200k+ miles. Another big bummer is the shift selector shaft blew a seal I think, pretty certain, they say it's the weak point. got the seal to replace, but what a pain it looks like, module on it and all to pry off, ATF everywhere.. ugh. Great work, enjoyed much.
Thank you. If I was you I would definitely adjust those valves. Sometimes just got to tackle those jobs you don't like, do it once and forget about it.
correct as long as there's no load from the cam put on the rocker. Just showing it how the manual would show it to be done and not to confuse ppl as it may be their first time working on their car
@@SwishLifeGarage definitely my first time doing a valve lash .. I don't paying nobody $200 lol bo builds does 1and and 3 then turns crank then does 4 and 2 it's all confusing but I'll figure it out ..

Was it leaking oil or ATF from the seal on the shaft selector. I had changed mine cause it got messed up but not the seal and I think it's leaking oil
