He's very ambidextrous. All the videos I've seen of him, generally he uses his ride hand to lead when he's playing a beat, but when he plays fills he usually leads with his left hand. He uses the best of both worlds which is why he's such a good drummer...plus he's just badass.

Their music is so frickin' beastly that metal bands today don't have shit on them based on the sheer technical genius in their songs. So being nice doesn't actually hurt their image, because they still own every metal band out there.

@tatsumakisenpukyaku you've got the right concept. it's just getting the drums tighter and fine tuning where it needs to be. not necessarily over the whole track, but parts that are felt to have room for improvement.

@123theater1 : You NEED Ashes of the Wake. Wrath and As The Palaces Burn are excellent. And they have a live album / DVD, Killadelphia that is phenomenal. You pretty much can't go wrong with these guys :) Some of the most talented musicians in metal.
lamb of god are amazing - chris adler is a cybernetic organism: living tissue over a metal endoskeleton. wonder how they're cutting in and out of the takes - at 2:00 chris stops, but the set pattern keeps going, and again at 2:17 - it's like there's a background track that they're trying to swap out with what chris plays over it when he gets it. anybody have any idea?
@DrumBum561 A reliable source informed me that he would overdub one or more cymbals (and sometimes all cymbals) in the past so they wouldn't bleed with the snare/kicks/toms.

Don’t forget, Chris was Lamb Of Gods tour manager for like 5 records. So, he was a bad ass drummer, and was managing the band. Alone as far as I know.
