Chris is a genius. His drumming is one of the most epic, innovative, and original drumming I've ever heard.
Willie is a machine. The way he plays the guitar in this video...it's exactly like the original recording...
    Long live the Adler Brothers!

This was my favorite DVD growing up. Chris Adler was my biggest influence as a drummer by 15. I didn’t want to learn the basics. I wanted to show girls I could play Now you’ve got something to Die for. And i did. So thanks Chris, for literally getting me my first 3 girlfriends.

+Alexander Supertramp Most of the dislikes were probably from drummers such as myself who could tell how sloppy parts of this performance was. I know it's hard to play every lick perfectly in front of that many people at the MDF, but you can tell he was struggling at times. Don't get me wrong, Chris Adler is a great drummer in the world of metal, and very inspirational to young metal drummers in bands all around the world in general, but I was surprised to hear him mess up on some of those double bass patterns.

what was great about these guys is how humble they are, compared to their music might sound
to people outside of the metal world. when i listened to them in my later teenager years and early
adulthood i never knew these guys are so kind, and cool. these performances of those 2 guys are
something i come to regularly, cause this is what made me fall in love with the band, their riffs, and
guitar playing in general. you not gonna find this clean live play of their songs anywhere to be honest.
only somebody who is really talented now could play it nearly to the original, but the thing those 2
have going on is very unique.

Chris Adler's passes up speed for power, rythm, and groove. He is considered to be one of the best drummers in metal for that reason. Yeah some of his drumming can be simplistic at times but thats what makes him so good, because he can change his sound up without hurting the songs. Plus his tom fills are awesome and percise. On top of that his double bass work is incredibly technical
