I am are here to tell you that there are also negative things about living here in Florida (Pensacola). In fact, there are negative things everywhere it's just how you handle it. In this video, I will discuss everything you need to know about why you should not move here unless you can handle these things.

pensacola is not worth a five year plan. There is nothing here to plan for except the crooked real estate market. This was always a great place to live for years I imagine the only thing good in 5 years years will be the hope that governor desantis still is making decisions shielding us from the crooked DNC and their globalization of american socialism. We are the last frontier, besides the hipanics in soth florida, tht keepsthis lace from turning into tent city and welfare madness...is that part of your five year plan? So come with lots of money, get ready to be welcomed by for the most part, self indulgence, and people who treat you like you are invisible, and the world greatest population of accident attorneys, unemployed medical personnel, and those of us who stay just because every one elses beach sucks...;-) Oh yeah, and I dont care that I have tons of typos...it is just proof that AI is way more imperfect than us flawed humans. haha Be safe. It was merely intended to strengthen the premise of why "NOT" move to this city lost in time.

@@shawnb6656 I would say the majority of the Panhandle is trapped In Time sometimes even running in Reverse or just looking run down. I left Jackson County when I was 16 years old to live in Houston population 4 million ish probably another million if you could actually count all the illegals. But always said I would move back at some point I just didn't know it would be two and a half years ago. Some places including the town I grew up in a I feel like they look worse.I was told that some sixty years ago, there were multiple grocery stores in town , like half a dozen movie theaters and so on and so on. Probably was like that in other nearby towns but that was before my time. I would like to see this area get a little bit more of a economic diversity and boost in overall net and gross incomes but without the eyesores and headaches that can come from a growing and more denser human populated area. If you're not in the mudding or four wheeling or get on a dirt bike and flying through Woods with vines catching the corners of the handlebars slapping the back and forth trying to throw you off of it if you're not into those kind of fun things well I guess take up fishing take up farming take up hunting . Every one of those things I just mentioned are basically the top entertainment / sport activities that are done in this area. I hope they still have demolition derbies because I plan to buy a car to crash into other people with. Ps: I had to come back and add that it's the National Peanut Festival time so there is another entertainment opportunity it goes on for about 2 weeks

I lived in Pensacola for about 2 to 3 years, attending the University of West Florida back in the early 1990s… The most fun was going to the clubs on Friday and Saturday nights and heading to the beaches on weekends and sometimes during the week when we felt like skipping class. Most of the time we would hang out at the Cordova mall or just hang out on campus… No, I would never want to live there now that I’m older …

I have been looking at rent prices there and they seem pretty on par with rental prices Nationwide. However, if you can buy a house, the prices to purchase are amazing. You can get a basic beginner home for around $200,000 in Pensacola. The same type house where I live in Washington state, starts at $350,000. Plus, we don't have the amazing Emerald Coast a quick car trip away. The West Coast ocean is gloomy, cold, and ugly. At least until you get down to So Cal.

Even though I was born in raise up until 16 in the area I don't remember it raining like it does now I just recently moved back to Florida after being gone about three decades and was a little shocked at how much of the year there would be rainfall and several months you can just expect it to rain eight out of ten days with those 2 days not being necessarily dry or calm. I haven't decided if it's landscapers Paradise or not because I'm assuming that they use the days of very little rain or no rain to try to take care of properties cutting weed removal edging Rock laying whatever it is they going to do or they like to work in the rain so for them it's just extra moisture in the air and more income to earn because those grass and weeds and vines...they sure grow tall fast.

Let's address the increasing obvious homelessness, sign flyer situation. It's very visible and nothing is being done about it. If those we elected don't address this, it will become like SFO or LA. It's BAD. I wrote to our district reps a year ago and they didn't give a shite. Our beautiful little piece of paradise is slowly disappearing and it's sad to watch. It's disgusting really. These people are pooping on our sidewalks, loitering downtown disrupting businesses, verbally assaulting anyone walking along Palafox and again, not one thing is being done about it. Our mayor is worthless. There are things that I used to enjoy here that I just don't do anymore. Would I go for an early morning or early evening walk around certain areas here? Absolutely not. Our crime has increased. We have a new police chief. He has said that he's committed to solving this problem. Let's hope so. If you're new moving here? #respect Flow with what's going on but don't try to change why you moved here for in the first place. Odds are it's because you are coming from a lockdown state in order to experience freedom. Remember that.

To Pensacola that place sucks I'm going to leave this video now every comment I read gives me bad nostalgia vibes I was born and raised there there is nothing to do there the only excitement I found was going to work and back home SMH you are going to regret moving there and the laws there Omg 😳 I'm a law abiding Citizen but in Pensacola Florida You better tuck in your shirt pants and boots to stay off there radar if you spit on the side walk and they see the spital Sir or Mam put your hands behind your back , because you are going to Jail there is nothing exciting about that place at all , to Each it's own There is a reason this Wonderful well Spoken Gentle man made this video He even knows it sucks there like fr fr ✌🏾

I know it's been a while since you posted but I'll tell you anyway. Pensacola's transit is limited to the ECAT bus service. It has around 45 routes for all of the county. It really depends on where you live in Pensacola but overall bus service is just ok.

Your dumba$$ needs to learn the principle of supply and demand. Homeowners don’t wake up in the morning and just decide what their house is now worth. That is determined by the market, and the enormity of people that want to move here. I know this all over your head, but you really need to think before you type. I’m sure if you owned a $200,000 house, you would sell it for $100,000 just out of the kindness of your heart, right? 😂 I’m not saying that you are the dumbest person on the earth, I’m just saying that you better hope that they don’t die. 😝

I'm from upper michigan (not the hand) i spent 9 days in the area my conclusion was the whole region was amazing. Pensacola seems to be more for people with some money though. I wojdlnt want to be in public housing there for instance. Beautiful beaches though. People were super friendly. Destin panama fort walton were very hustle bustle but also super friendly. But I'd say much faster and more going on in small area. Niceville milton pace crestview seemed like the average upper midwestern town honest. Gorgeous.quiter. Within an hour from more activities than one could think up. Kinda like you have the main strip from p cola to panama etc. And then u got their suburbs that follow parallel a half hour or so north. Diverse area. Can't wait to get there. I went to the east coast too. (st augustine is amazing) but it's a totally different world as u go east and south. Panhandle was so unique and unexpected. Sorry for the rant. But that's my view after spending 9 nights

Almost a nice reverse Psychology approach, if not for the "Over" transparency angle. Maybe they "won't" come, less traffic, less short fuses, and yea, less money. "Really" want'em too stay away at this point?

I grew up in this city.... Traffic can be sketchy in all my travels I have yet to see more cops in any one area then here. The weather is awesome the beaches are some of the best that ive found in the whole country. That's literally the best part about this place. If you want laid back beaches I'd recommend Navarre or even my favourite is perdido key. The traffic is way better and the florabama is right down the road. This town isnt what people think of when they think of Florida. It has its own kind of people for sure. Thinking about moving back if they legalize marijuana. Till then ima stay in Washington State where its cold but beautiful.

Nine mile road area-rain. Every. Single. Day.
I have not seen blue skies in 3 weeks. One winter it rained so much I left work and drove south. I kept driving till the cold and wet ended. South of Gainesville is a different world. I had the most beautiful, lush tropical landscaped yard. Then it turned 20 degrees here for 3 days. I watched my palm trees die and fall over. Then the flood. Then another flood. Then another flood. Then drought. Then flood. Then Sally. It’s a brutal environment here.

It's still underdeveloped, many of the areas are run down and look trashy. Florida itself is severely underdeveloped, no sidewalks, no trails, parks are old and run down. It literally looks like Florida is stuck in the 80s or 90s. Miami is definitely more developed than the rest of Florida and looks a lot better. Without the coast and the beaches Florida would be utter trash just like Alabama and Mississippi.

Thanks for watching. There is a constant ocean breeze here. There is a paper plant in north escambia county that smells bad but unless you live by it not sure what people would be referring to, lol. The water quality can be bad according to some people, I haven't started growing a tail or anything so ... we do and no matter where I've lived get spring water delivered to our house for drinking water.
