I love 7 mile, Grand River, The Pistons, Coney Island, What up doe, The Lions, Tigers, Downtown, Greektown, East Jefferson, Chene Park, Hart Plaza, Southern Fire restaurant, Cobo Hall, my friends and family are here, it's where I was born and raised, Motor city soul food, the LCA, the toughness, the reputation, 6 mile, Fenkell, Woodward, Midtown....so much more! I love my city!!!

Detroit Library, all museums and historical stuff, BELLE ISLE!! Lived there as a kid, inherited the family farm, west MI rural, my my I miss a big city. Covid's shut down so much, but like lots of others I"m starting to think "oh well" and do stuff anyhow. What I need is senior housing. I'm 69 and well, mentally declining. I need to settle for my last decades. No kids to help me out.
I Grew Up On The West-Side Not Quite Close Enough Northwest/And Yes At That Time All Of Our Dads Worked And In Many Many Various Positions My Dad Was A Professional-College Educated Man So Was Mom But She Did Many Things But Also College Educated.Must Of Us At That Time Had Both Parents Residing In Home!!!"Warren Ave.Livernois West,South Mich.Ave.SouthWest Fort!!!"

Sad how much crime is there I had an African American real estate agent that advised me to look in the suburbs not inner city Detroit. When you have locals saying that how is Detroit ever going to improve?
The price points are higher in the suburbs they may have been serving their own interests not yours… many times the locals are our own worst critics, as they look beyond their past biases.

I had Buddy's when I visited with a group of people. Several of us walked away saying it was the best we've ever had.
