Cull was supposed to be the series 4 card for this month and then I see it's released as a series 5. Even when the card was released my phone notified me that new series 4 card Cull Obsidian is available to get.
They messed up. It is a Series 5 card. Which is a bummer.
There are no Series 4 cards coming until at least May - at least if the datamines are correct.
It would appear that new cards may no longer be s4. Time will tell but the datamines so far don't make it look good
My take away has been; since they are doing some amount of series drops, they are justifying that to not release cards into S4.
It was supposed to be Supergiant, then Cull, then no one lol

Got it. First hit! Works so well in my Skaar deck! Love it.
I hadn't been sure about Cull, and actually listening to the Snap Chat with you and Cozy yesterday and specifically the bit about Thanos Lockjaw with Black Swan convinced me. Ran a Thanos Lockjaw build with Swan and Cull to back to back gold Conquest clears, and a ladder win over Lamby (for one cube because snapping on Lamby still terrifies me sometimes). The synergy between Swan and Cull, Swan and being able to tip stones into Lockjaw while playing big guys on curve and Cull and Skaar, all add up to a monster.
I run it in a similar deck. To me it plays like old Thanos where I am moving lock jaw and pulling out more big cards.
I yolo snapped on Lamby twice as Hela and lost 8 cubes twice, whoops!

This is the only week I was excited for. First the Thanos comic variant. Second believe or not the nimrod variant I like to play nimrod from time to time and this week has my 2nd favorite nimrod variant. And of course cull obsidian for the first time I bought the new card immediately to get the spotlight variant can't wait

Been playing Cull in a zoo Thanos has ongoing list. Feels super solid. That list has trouble going tall, but man an extra 10 power hits right. Especially for such mid cost
I think he's solid for zoo and patriot decks w/zabu and super easy to play in Thanos obv
got thanos in 2 keys but considering getting Cull too. Having a lot of fun with thanos and is great to build around.

Curve Obsidian got me from 1600 to 1200 at infinite in an hour. I did swap Ice for Scarlet for the couples synergy and plan to put Quake in after the event.
It boggles my mind how Cull Obsidian is easier to play than Crossbones, yet is 4/10 rather than 4/8
crossbone is definitely becoming 3/8 soon.
They might need to do a batch OTA or patch improvement to Jessica, Rescue and Crossbones. Maybe also Attuma.

From 94 to 100 in 2 hours with a modified version of your super invisible deck. Teched in mr fantastic for the couple bonus and cull obsidian. Took out lizard and spiderwoman
Congrats friend!its a good feeling 😊 i reached two days ago and now i just play conquest for the missions and to get the rewards, relaxed.
Fun fact: I used him with my Deadpool destroy deck and worked extremelly good. Shenaut was also a Blast

Hes a simple and greta stat line but personally I used tokens for SG and keys for her variant (looks amazing). Used 3 for her variant (final key of course), Darkhawk, and got a dupe.
Honestly not disappointed as SG fits my playstyle so much.
Cull is great but hes not exciting enough for me to use keys or tokens for.
Though I may use one just try to snipe that Thanks variant.

2 Caches. Got Cull on my first Cache, Thanos cover variant on my 2nd. So happy.
I got tokens then Cull. Im so tempted to get that Thanos variant but i want the other cards this month. That might be my favorite variant in game.

I have three more keys, so should i just save up for x-23 next week or should I go for cull…my destroy deck is complete if i get x-23, but my thanos is so far from being conplete what do you guys think? Sadness is using two spotlight keys and unlocking martyr…twice in a row
My condolences that happened to me recently with the glactus spotlight I pulled the variant then they gave me the base card the second one 😅
I got Meik first try cause I like discard, then proceeded to unlock him on the next 2 spotlights. I wish the spotlight would give you a series 4/5 that you DONT have and tokens if you are collection complete, that way you feel like you are at least making progress.

I can't wait to get him. I used 3 keys. Got the 2 variants and another one not supposed to be in the cache. They need to fix that. Other than my complaining, good video as always and I can't wait for the snapchat review with Cozy.

I actually got so lucky and got the thanos variant then him in two keys now I can save for next month since I’m a discard hater
unfortunately had to spend 3 keys to get him this week, happily i got the thanos variant along with. sucks the last 3 weeks i’ve had to spend at least 2 keys because i hit the random card, and always hit a duplicate. every. single. week.

Nah. That's the Coccia Sliding Salute. The difference is equivalent to Ken's fiery dragon uppercut vs Ryu's regular dragon uppercut.

Oh! I misunderstood... I thought the condition was having only 1-cost cards. If you can have other costs there (ex: Vision play?). Why would you ever use Bloody/Atuma?? That seems broken!!
yep. with nightcrawler he can be played in any lane. plus, you can stage on the same turn. this card is way too good.
Kinda annoyed that my first key was the 1 in 4 random card, and I got the 1 in 5 result of a repeat card. I then had to spend 3 more keys to get thanos

No Jeff. Honestly, I'm getting really tired of the spotlight caches. The variants do absolutely nothing for me. Tried to get Zabu last week, got Supergiant and Darkhawk Variant instead. I just don't care anymore.I can never get the cards I want from the spotlight caches.
You never open for a specific card on a cache unless you're willing to spend 4 keys for it.
Agree, everyone would enjoy caches more if only they provide with priority the cards you're missing first.

This video, and some zoo lists convinced me that this is a big dumb card that suits me perfectly. Pulled him from the first cache, almost bummed, I was hoping to get that Thanos variant first, but I’ll probably take the one and done. April looks too good, and I don’t even like running Thanos.

Alright hear me out guys. Quicksilver is actually decent? I’ve been playing him in a shell with cull and it’s been working. The main key is to not even play quicksilver essentially. He ends up taking the hits for cards like spider ham and Selene and can be used to stage Cull if need be since I only run one other 1 drop in the deck. Is he the best by any means? No. But I thought it was just a super unique thing to use a card that is basically seen as dead.

Ive never been more sure at predicting a nerf. Kull will be nerfed soon because it makes atuma and crossbones pointless
It's a boring stats card but it has a low downside so it will be everywhere unless it gets nerfed. Kind of makes a lot of other cards completely obsolete.

I don’t use skaar in my thanos and I still win no issue . But caiera. Idk . I’ve won games thanks to caiera. I just use alight instead of skaar
I always played thanos before I had caiera and was generally pretty fine, it’s a nice comfort card tho if you have but shouldn’t stop you from making a thanos deck

I'm sitting on 19 spotlight keys and 19k tokens and I'm still not going to get this. Variants being trash and Cull Obsidian being just a stat stick doesn't scream value to me personally. This whole situation with only pool 5's being released, no new cards in spotlights and nerfs happening left and right after a few weeks into the cards release is making me rethink the whole card acquisition thing. If im not getting at least 2 cards from a weekly spotlight I'm passing almost always. The more i pass the better future spotlights are going to be.
Can we just get to march and April already 😂. I’m tired of Thanos and I’m tired of having no value in the average of the spotlights.
I like how when you go to define Curve Obsidian, you just say curve again and don't define it. I've been hearing you say curve for weeks and I have no idea what you mean to this day.
Playing cards that cost the maximum amount of energy you have that turn for maximum energy efficiency.
Its like each turn you play more power, so every turn curves up in power so by the end your lookin pretty solid rather than a deck that plays little power early but sets up a huge power dump on t5-t6
“Playing on curve” is common terminology across many card games. Play the biggest thing you can as early as you can. (As opposed to other strategies like hoarding cards for a late-game combo or giant end game)
