Nice to see the whole family working together. You have all produced a very pleasing result. Coming to the boat and seeing the transformed deck must also lift morale.😀👍⛵️
Congrats from Seattle, Washington USA. Boating as a family since 1985 and just got back from family reunion with my adult children and 16 grandchildren on the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon
Brilliant job! You could paint panels into the decks now, maybe lighter grey or something,it really makes a difference, I did it to a boat I had years ago. Careful masking and away you go!
Hello again my friend (don't know your name!} Have you ever considered cutting a doorway from your upper steering position (flybridge) directly down into your wheelhouse? It would make a bit of sense to enable you to get from inside the boat, up to the flybridge in a hurry, without going all the way aft.
YES! I’ve been breaking my head over this. It would be a mayor benefit. But I want to honor the lines and restore as intended. But still open for great, innovative but very humble changes . If only to pass the drinks to the captain😄
Hi. Maybe you can remove the old paint with a sharp chisel attached to your drill. I’m not sure if it will work, but it’s an idea instead of using a Tercoo. The name of a boat is quite a thing; sailboats often have names of constellations, workboats are often named after sea creatures, and pleasure craft tend to have female names. For example, if you name your boat something that means “strength,” it can have an opposite effect on the owner. If water tends to pool in certain spots on the boat, you can level it out with epoxy, and if you tilt the boat slightly in the opposite direction, the water will drain away. I recommend looking into the Epifanes paint system: a two-component epoxy primer with zinc, filler, HB coat, and polyurethane paint. It becomes very hard, and it’s definitely recommended if you’re planning to sandblast the hull.
thank you for your comment. the name of the boat is a though one. we've had multiple ideas but none sticked, and I want to feel 100%content with the name as this is not something to go over lightly;
@@markhuston9250 don't worry about it. I love learning from comments, this is what brought me thus far in th boat build. although the 'fase' error was probably due to fatigue. anyway, all is well, thanks for your comment and enjoy the channel.
Hoera !
Amazing transformation I'm totally enjoying your channe and the editing and music choices are great

There doesn’t seem to be any way for water to escape the fore deck ?
There are 2 thru holes on the side and what remains slides along the gun walls to the side decks . I agree not optimal
PS, the word is *PHASE in the title. Fase is not even a word.
Corrected it. Thanks for the heads up!
Give him a break……..I think he’s been doing a fantastic job language wise.
