He does seem to be getting worse, and more and more his failings are from laughably bad ideas. Like a football team who doesn't even have enough players to fill every position turning away players because that player is a vegetarian who's like 5 pounds lighter than anyone else. Especially because they laugh at "being fast" when that's a really important part of some skill positions, it's arguably more important for some positions then how much you can bench. Hell, leg power/squats are more important than bench press capacity
One thing I noticed about this video is when the guy purposely dropped the weight on the guy it is never addressed once that this could result in serious injury, instead it is passed off as just normal bullying.
The video would’ve been shorter if the MC actually sustained an injury and the team get sued by his parents, and the player would’ve gotten kicked off because of it.
Dude bulked up from 153 lbs to 167 lbs, then went from failing a 135 lbs bench to hitting a 185 lbs bench all in the span of less than a month. Makes sense.
So yeah it’s borderline impossible to do that in a months time. Not to mention unhealthy since dietitians recommend a steady weight gain of 0.5-1 lb per week

We played on Base and if you pulled some shit like this, you would be PT'd to death. And everyone would hate the guy responsible for it, for the rest of practice. The only person I can recall the team hating, was a guy who didn't put in effort, made excuses, never took accountability, and had a nasty fucking attitude. And even then, we didn't try and hurt him, we'd just call him out on his bullshit.
In addition to all that, it would seem the writers forgot all about how the coach was basically encouraging his players to be violent bullies and just let him get off scot-free for it. But considering Dhar Mann's unearthed reputation, it makes sense that he'd let a character in one of his videos get away with fostering a toxic environment.

People forget about the fact that being able to run fast in football is an asset no matter what size you are and smaller people can often times move faster cuz they aren't dragging a ton of weight.
The only thing i don't agree with you on is the "nobody like the coach's kid" I played soft ball for a year and the only person I actually liked to hang out with was the coach's daughter. She was also the only one on the team that knew how to play.(aside form me)
Hey my father did that in 1985, he got springlocked and was forced to become rotten furry 8 years later. I also burned him in a horror attraction a few months ago
yeah, weight has nothing to do with being vegetarian, vegan, or omnivorous. All three diets can give you the same nutrients, just from different sources.
In my 7 years of playing football going into senior year of high school, In tryouts we didn’t even dressed full pads and just worked on plays and conditioning until the season starts. We didn’t start weight room and full pads till after the season starts so this video literally makes no sense at all
In one month a skinny kid bulked up, learnt to throw and catch, changed schools, made the new school’s football team, and then won them the game? Yeah nah
I think someone needs to make a video picking apart every single plot hole and/or fuck-ups in just ONE of his videos. Like, I want an hour-long ripfest.
Dharr Mann videos are almost like revivalist masterpieces at this point. I actually admire how he can tackle these plots that people already made dozens of movies/series with, that was popular decades ago, and his somehow ends up being the worst example of it ever made.
As somebody who also grew up in the South playing football, the only time you would "scuffle" with your teammates was training camp... After that, it was all hands on deck for Bubba & Co. from A-hyuck County 😂
I looked like Mitchell in highschool same body and I played tailback , wr , safety and punt returner and I was 6'0" 156lbs And Marvin Harrison Hall of Fame NFL receiver is 6'0" 170 lbs What planet is Dhar Mann from??
Another thing that seems wierd to me, when the coach says that speed wont help when hes being attacked, yes it will, because he can dodge/ run away easily BECAUSE HES FAST
The dad is wearing a blue shirt while his son transferred to the red team and the blue team is evil… I know how minute that is but I definitely got a good chuckle out of that one 😂
I did like one glance on “wide reciever”’s Wikipedia page; they’re also known as *flankers.* And one glance at a provided diagram on the page shows that, yes, they seem to be intended to stay off to the sides, away from the main chaos. Also just read: “On passing plays, the receiver attempts to *avoid, outmaneuver, or simply outrun* the cornerbacks or safeties typically defending him.” Just a quick read on a Wikipedia page was enough to show that Dhar Mann absolutely didn’t do his research; that he didn’t even bother to do quick Wikipedia reads as his research.
12:35 Bruh. I'm 19, 150 lbs, never played football, went to the gym once in my life and i can catch a football without stumbling over my own 2 feet, bench about 130, and do 40 pushups. This kid was just severely underqualified and literally a pipsqueak.
Ok I got bullied on my volleyball team throughout the entire season where this particular ring leader who’s respected out of fear tries to kick me off the team but it was nothing like this. 3:48 I just want to point out that that isn’t even Oklahoma drill. That’s Snake in the Grass. In Oklahoma drill, you’ve got one man on offense, one on defense, and several different holes. The man with the ball will pick one hole to run through, and the other guy must tackle him.
I can tell you this exists. I remember my first year on the team as the smallest O line guy we had. I squared off against our best linebacker and pancaked him. As we both got up, the coach approached us and literally told the lb “you gonna let him to that you?” I received no pat on the back. I actually got run through on the next play since coach made him feel like a schmuck for getting laid out by the rookie. It was a hell of a season, to say the least.
So...kid switches to a different team, but his super-dad watching from the sidelines is sporting the colors of the opponent (kid's previous) team??? Dad didn't get the memo of the team switch, I guess?🤔
13:10 I went to a hospital for mental health and was there for a little over 2 months. I ate so many pb&j's (about 1 or 2 a day) because thats what you would eat if you dont like what the chef's have made. Well, I ended up gaining 45 pounds in 2 months. I went from 130 to 175. Now, after 2 years I'm back down to 135, which is the ideal weight for my height and age. Edit: Just fixed the time stamp.
I went through a period of starving myself and eventually I snapped and started overeating in a frenzy. I ate straight up sugar cubes at one point. I gained maybe 10kg in 1-2 months, that's around 22 pounds. Those were 10 kilos I had lost by starving myself for a month so they came back easy. 30 pound muscle gain in a month is some cartoon shit.
I'm glad that August is focusing on Dhar Mann more. He uploads a video about Dhar Mann every 2 weeks which is a huge decrease from uploading a Dhar Mann video once a month. The Dhar Mann videos are the only topic I can sort of understand and are really funny.
I just watched this video today and when I saw you reacted to it I was hyped. I love watching people react to how absurd dahr man videos are you gotta keep doing them
August, take it easy on that coach. It's obv his first season. It he had any experience , he wouldn't be criticizing a kid that big. Anyone that's played , hell, even watched football knows a kid that size can be an animal. Granted , I'd rather see him at corner , but he can def work as a wide out at that weight.
I have to add one more to point to the subject of lacklustre casting: Why is the team captain of a highschool football team looking like he is in his mid twenties? Are we sure he should be around teenagers in their shower and locker room? I don't think so...
No but being lighter and smaller can help you beat your bigger, slower, stronger opponents if you can use your environment against them and to your advantage. The perks of being scrappy and coming from a family of men who were in the military and taught me their tiny daughter/granddaughter to always use their environment to their advantage. And I beat the crap out of a huge high-schooler, who was picking on small children in our neighborhood to include my little sister, when I was just a small tiny middle schooler.

Pretty sure thats what they did in Forrest Gump.
That is what they did because Forrest was small and light and therefore he could run faster.
I'm not an expert weightlifter or anything, but that "spotting" was at least borderline criminal.
One of these days he's going to do something with the military and I worry I'm going to go the fuck off on him.

5'1?!!!
@@meicc398 yes
People forget about the fact that being able to run fast in football is an asset no matter what size you are and smaller people can often times move faster cuz they aren't dragging a ton of weight.
The only thing i don't agree with you on is the "nobody like the coach's kid" I played soft ball for a year and the only person I actually liked to hang out with was the coach's daughter. She was also the only one on the team that knew how to play.(aside form me)
"It's not about the size of the muscles, it's the size of the heart." THE HEART IS A MUSCLE.

This doesn’t even deserve a participation trophy.
Dhar Mann on October 31st: Man lures and kills 5 children in a pizzeria, lives to regret it.
Oooop
Hey my father did that in 1985, he got springlocked and was forced to become rotten furry 8 years later. I also burned him in a horror attraction a few months ago
Fnaf
@Huckjusta ya I did that back in 1983, he died and I lived to regret it
No more like He Always comes back only to regret it(I know my FNaF).
I hate vegetarian stereotypes. I've been a vegetarian for 23 years and I've never been skinny (I also know a vegan who's not skinny). 😤
yeah, weight has nothing to do with being vegetarian, vegan, or omnivorous. All three diets can give you the same nutrients, just from different sources.
Tell that to the Vegan Teacher
I’m vegan and skinny for genetics
I'm skinny and ain't vegan (although I am allergic to most meats)
What’s the difference between vegan and vegetarian?
We aren't just telling stories we are getting more lazy, misleading, shallow, confusing, unrealistic, and potentially controversial every day
3:30 To hire extras, you have to pay for extras. And, we know how Dhar pays.
In my 7 years of playing football going into senior year of high school, In tryouts we didn’t even dressed full pads and just worked on plays and conditioning until the season starts. We didn’t start weight room and full pads till after the season starts so this video literally makes no sense at all
I don't play football but I have a cousin who does and I know all of that too. What's Dhar Manns excuse?
In one month a skinny kid bulked up, learnt to throw and catch, changed schools, made the new school’s football team, and then won them the game? Yeah nah
He could maybe do one of those in like Maybe a month and a half
8:30 uhhh I’m pretty sure that’s sexual assault….he should’ve went and reported him!
Physical and sexual assault. It's the two for one assault special!
i am fully convinced in the next 3 years dhar mann will sign a deal with disney.
I think someone needs to make a video picking apart every single plot hole and/or fuck-ups in just ONE of his videos. Like, I want an hour-long ripfest.
I'm sure someone has
Dharr Mann videos are almost like revivalist masterpieces at this point. I actually admire how he can tackle these plots that people already made dozens of movies/series with, that was popular decades ago, and his somehow ends up being the worst example of it ever made.
As Dhar gets worse, August's videos get better
As somebody who also grew up in the South playing football, the only time you would "scuffle" with your teammates was training camp... After that, it was all hands on deck for Bubba & Co. from A-hyuck County 😂
I looked like Mitchell in highschool same body and I played tailback , wr , safety and punt returner and I was 6'0" 156lbs
And Marvin Harrison Hall of Fame NFL receiver is 6'0" 170 lbs
What planet is Dhar Mann from??
Another thing that seems wierd to me, when the coach says that speed wont help when hes being attacked, yes it will, because he can dodge/ run away easily BECAUSE HES FAST
"whats speed gonna do when you come face to face with a guy twice your size"
you f*cking dodge him
Dhar Mann uploaded a video that literally defended shoplifting
Bro what?
He also basically said you can commit any crime you want as long as you say it was a dare
Which video?

The dad is wearing a blue shirt while his son transferred to the red team and the blue team is evil… I know how minute that is but I definitely got a good chuckle out of that one 😂
Oh my gosh, I didn't even notice that XD
I have a bearded dragon. The dare when the kid has to pet a beardie is hilarious
My sister has two of them. They’re pretty adorable.
I missed all of August’s questions around 14:50 because all I kept thinking about was “What happened to the coaches ear?”.
It's just the lighting, and since your ear is really thin, you can see the blood there from the harsh light
8:40 bro didn’t even hit him that badly. I wouldn’t be apologizing
It looked more look a shove
I did like one glance on “wide reciever”’s Wikipedia page; they’re also known as *flankers.*
And one glance at a provided diagram on the page shows that, yes, they seem to be intended to stay off to the sides, away from the main chaos.
Also just read: “On passing plays, the receiver attempts to *avoid, outmaneuver, or simply outrun* the cornerbacks or safeties typically defending him.”
Just a quick read on a Wikipedia page was enough to show that Dhar Mann absolutely didn’t do his research; that he didn’t even bother to do quick Wikipedia reads as his research.
He just gets chatgpt to write an American football script and calls it a day
We’re not just telling stories, we’re faking them.
We’ve stopped telling stories, We’re telling lies

In fact that one bully on the team isn’t even the captain. The actual team captain is like the nicest guy in the world.

3:48 I just want to point out that that isn’t even Oklahoma drill. That’s Snake in the Grass. In Oklahoma drill, you’ve got one man on offense, one on defense, and several different holes. The man with the ball will pick one hole to run through, and the other guy must tackle him.
he isnt even benching right, he is fully extending his arms which could cause them to snap back. VERY dangerous
I'm pretty sure it's seriously super duper dangerous for a weight to fall on you. Like you could die dangerous
They literally featured that on an episode of 1000 ways to die
You would be correct
I love how they call the kid a skinny shrimp when there’s a skinnier kid on the team 😂
Yeah but I bet he never dropped a heavy weight on you and I bet you never Chickened out to the other side
This is weirdly similar to the plot of Adam Sandler’s The Waterboy. Dhar Mann stealing ideas from Adam Sandler now? Doesn’t surprise me
0:07 probably the funniest thing i've seen in a dhar mann video LMAO

I'm amazed a duck can coach football. Why hasn't this made headlines yet?
So...kid switches to a different team, but his super-dad watching from the sidelines is sporting the colors of the opponent (kid's previous) team??? Dad didn't get the memo of the team switch, I guess?🤔
Dhar man + August is the fastest way to have me click a video
Sorry in advance for your trauma, Talking duck.
As the coaches son, i can confirm that 99 percent of the player on my team have beef with me 😭
Are we not going to mention how much older the coach's son looks? Tatted up and everything 😂

I went to a hospital for mental health and was there for a little over 2 months.
I'm a skinny vegetarian but not all of us are skinny, dhar mann needs to stop stereotyping vegetarians.
Bros making fun of him for benching 95, but thats better than 80% of the kids in my weight training class

Dhar Dhar Binks never disappoints with his comedic brilliance.

12:07 this is funny because I call my brother Bubba and he is built exactly like you described
"Size doesn't matter on the playing field"-Dhar Dhar Binks
I have to add one more to point to the subject of lacklustre casting: Why is the team captain of a highschool football team looking like he is in his mid twenties?
Are we sure he should be around teenagers in their shower and locker room?
I don't think so...
Grown adults obsession with how high school “is” is very strange.
