I've been that parent. I was a homeless single dad with kids, struggling to make ends meet. Thankful for the help along the way, we are all thriving now. Couldn't help but cry at this.
This made me cry. I've been there before. My daughter wanted Olive Garden for her birthday. I just didn't have olive garden money. But I took her and figured I'd say I ate at work. I refused to not leave a decent tip. After ordering just water and her fettuccine. No protein. I could tell the waiter could tell I was worried about pricing. The waiter ended up bring out TWO plates off chicken fettuccine. I immediately told my daughter dont touch it baby, thats not our food. But the waiter said it was his mistake and he was sorry. Also he wouldn't charge me and I could keep it since it was already made. I about cried into my pasta. I went back after pay day and left him an extra $20 tip. Such a sweet kid.
Hot take. As the child in that situation. Just do something nice with her, buy the ingredients and make her a special olive garden meal, have her help. Kids are complicated but spending time with you is worth more than any materialistic gift(even if they dont realize it yet). And then when you do have the money you can go all out. Just make sure you make it up to them when you can. Even if you just gotta start saving extra money to do something fun later. Of course not every situation is the same you might not be able to do anything else like cooking but as I said. Sometimes you kid has to be disappointed. Wait. Get the money for it. Like really get the money for it. Then do it.)

That was so touching to see such good and loving people. I was actually blessed by a woman at the drug store a couple months ago. not going through any kind of financial struggles, just mental health. But watching this show helps me remember that there truly is kindness in the world, and there’s always gonna be people to provide support when i need it.
The man in the baseball cap who started crying broke my heart, you can tell he went through a lot when he was that age and this got to him. And that last blonde woman was an absolute angel. That’s one of the most generous gestures I’ve seen on this show.
It's a combination of his mama raising him right and understanding that struggle. My mama was a single mother, but she had assistance from my grandparents and my help as I got older. That struggle and nurture creates empathy and compassion for those who face those obstacles. We know that one act of kindness can mean the world
I got teary too because a Mother will starve just so her kids can eat. My Mumma would go without dinner just so we can have an extra portion on our plates when we were younger.

I love the way her daughter smiled and cried at the same time while keeping it all to themselves. Stay safe everyone
Too kindhearted for this world 😭
This was by far the best Wwyd. These people were so kindhearted
Hi have you seen the forced marriage of a 15 year old girl
WWYD?
For sure one of the best ones
You haven’t watched a lot then have you
@@tayxenia7481 Yeah but what the person means is that not everyone in one episode helps like this one

2:39 "No, you let it be you."
That is the sign of a truly good person. She didn't want any of the credit. She just wanted the family to feel better.
That lady is an absolute gem. She had me crying.
I know right? 🥺
She’s amazing
The "you eat!" part though 😭
That is my aunt she would give the clothes off her back to any in need

That was so touching to see such good and loving people. I was actually blessed by a woman at the drug store a couple months ago. I'm on disability and I could only get 1 of my prescriptions, she was behind me and she got me the rest of my meds. I started crying and I gave her a hug and thanked her so much. I keep her in my prayers.
that first lady was so sweet she just straight up hugged her
I just could not stop crying honestly... It feels so good to be hugged when you're in deep ****...
I'll leave the likes as 101
And the last one gave her 100 fucking dollars
"You pray for me and I pray for you, now you go have a good birthday with your baby"
God bless that precious woman!!
Amen. That was so beautiful to see and hear

@@Chelsea-zk6uy quite true! Praying for you my friend❤

That Lady is a *REALLY* good actor. Damn
I don't think she was merely acting, but also moved by the people's kindness ... I had tears in my eyes from watching this and I was in no way involved
Stupid ass show

Chris Lol here’s another hater...
Chris LOLLLL Hi idiot on the internet
I love all these strangers... Lord knows, I'm crying and im most definitely not a cry baby. Thank you
I'm sorry, I understand the show is about human compassion and giving to your fellow human. But I can't help but notice how FANTASTIC the actress playing the mother was....She is one of the best actresses I've seen on this show, making it hard to believe she's even faking it.
You hit the nail on the head. She deserves an Oscar.. She's beautiful too. Very well done.
@@cordinarcher1054 i don’t get what looks have to do with this but yeah, she is amazing
@@romina-l8n I don't think looks have much to do with the subject matter. I was just pointing out that the actress is really beautiful.
Totally agreed, she is good
I know right? Little known fact...she went on to become Halle Berry!
can we just talk about how good the actress is. she's so good I would never believe this is a tv show
haha they hire actors. im not suprised. this would not happen if a kid was not happy about a budget. also i was at a resturant and this exact thing happend but no one cared at all Lmao all of them are acting

My heart goes out for the son of the single mother, she raised him right. She would have been proud
Yes, he had tears rolling down my face. Great guy.
He is really nice and used his past thought time to help instead of hurt
God bless him!
For real man no hesitation to go ahead and pay for them too

"Get the boy some cake!"
My favorite quote from this show

The first mother bystander had me in tears. What an extraordinary example of kindness and humanity for her daughter.
And you know damn well her daughter carriers that same kindness
"Get that boy some cake" as a dad those words are gold. They are kids and don't always understand money situation's.

Its strange the population as a whole does little to stop this type of thing tho. There's many good folk out their. They just feel like its hopeless. How can 1 persons decisions than change a whole natioms

I love how this WWYD video isn't about people bringing shame to the ones who are being rude, but its about people bringing love the ones who deserve it.
This was the best experiment WWYD has done yet
Totally agreed this is the best
Pratyush Trivedi definitely my fav

God bless you!
God bless y'all!!

The only wwyd where u don't want to punch the actors.
100th like WOO
AlbatrossRevenue well with the Down syndrome guy there was still an actor who was cruel if you’re talking about the same one I think you are. I think this person means she/he doesn’t want to punch any of the actors this time.

This is the best comment I’ve ever seen
Paige Scarlett yee
This video has be crying and this comment honestly cheered me up lmao
The man in the baseball cap who started crying broke my heart, you can tell he went through a lot when he was that age and this got to him. And that last blonde woman was an absolute angel. That’s one of the most generous gestures I’ve seen on this show.
We Southerners get put down a lot, but when push comes to shove, we help each other. Not surprised how these great Louisianans reacted at all!✌🏽
Moral is plz help each other
He was raised good
@@filipedias7284this! His mama did a great job!
It's a combination of his mama raising him right and understanding that struggle. My mama was a single mother, but she had assistance from my grandparents and my help as I got older. That struggle and nurture creates empathy and compassion for those who face those obstacles. We know that one act of kindness can mean the world

"you eat. you eat." that line from the first mother made me sob. they're two simple words, but they mean the world to people who need food.
Yes yes yes
Is that, by any chance, a jojo reference?
this was where my face started leaking
I got teary too because a Mother will starve just so her kids can eat. My Mumma would go without dinner just so we can have an extra portion on our plates when we were younger.
Idk why but this is the softest ep i've ever watched, it's so pure and i can't help but feel extremely emotionaaal

Not the actors, I mean the people who were kind enough to help
