Quick Tip every one
I used my iPhone for one of my videos when i ran out of battery on my camera I didn't have a stabilizer so I flipped my Starbucks coffee cup around cut two slits on the opposite sides of it and put my phone inside horizontally it works really well just grab the cup from the bottom and start recording

Great advice mate, might have to give that a go sometime for my vids. Cheers!
This was very helpful thank you!! Especially the lenses are amazing!
Omg have you read my mind?? I was searching for iPhone travel videos when I went to my subscription box to find your video! That's awesome👌🏻😂
love it that's why I film and and started a whole UA-cam page all about cellphone video and photography ALL THE VIDEOS FILMED ON MY PAGE WITH A SONY XPERIA ⬅⬅⬅
as always, you are one of my favorite creators and I loved hearing you talk about iphone videography! I've actually been making videos with my iphone for about 5 months now, maybe 3 months ago I upgraded with 3 moment lenses and the DJI osmo mobile... people are many times shocked that I shoot with my iphone. I also struggled between 4k and 1080 but once I stopped shooting in 4k I was much happier! so these are all things I've delved into myself but it was just very reassuring to hear you backing me up ;) also my next step is getting a manual app! that is absolutely the next step for me and my videos. curios how your gimbal works with the lenses? I had to counter balance my osmo mobile due to the lenses... hope this comment finds you well, thomas always a pleasure!
have just found the moment lens range! really curious to see more content on what they're actually like...
Can you plz do a colour grading on phone!?
I shot all my videos with my IPhone so this is the perfect video for me.
I love coming back to this video after using all the tips, I would love to hear opinions on my videos, they are traveling videos of my life in japan 🇯🇵
sarai lavin yesssss😍😍😍😍😍 teach me your ways lol. you’re doing amazing

This video was sooooo helpful! I am going to Spain next week and I am hoping to step up my game. Thank you!
The mindset shift is the BIGGEST difference - great point! Love your videos - thanks for the content.

Reading that you visited cozumel makes me so happy. I am from cozumel ❤️
Absolutely loved this video! I am starting out a vlogging channel and these tips were so helpful! Thank you so much
Very helpful tips...thanks
"I'm lucky that I don't have a mustache" lol. Great video as always, Tom!
Does anyone know of a more affordable phone stabilizer? The Zhiyun looks incredible, but I'm afraid it's a little out of my budget.
“Hello doggie” 😂 I don’t know why that made me lol
I was inspired to make travel videos and started my channel because of your videos and advice. I'm still learning and will appreciate honest feedback from everyone :)
This is exactly what I was looking for! I stumbled upon this after watching several videos that were kind of useless so thank you so much!

can someone plis tell me wich app to use to edit the travel video?
For me I use splice ... it’s simple to use and it’s FREEEE!
Splice or Premiere or Premiere Rush

hi alex following your tutorials since a long time... its because of you i improved a lot in making travel videos. keep going
This is such a great video! Thanks alot I really enjoyed it 😊 I'll definitely try to incorporate your tips into my next travel vlog!
I used to have go pro 4k black and panasonic mlsr camera. However...Panasonic broke when it fell on the ground. Go pro battery is pure sh.. and it last maximum 20 min. Now I use Samsung S7. It can do 4k, but I don't use it. So I am doing all my travel videos (i travel on the bicycle ) using phone and it is so much better. Sooooo much better. Battery last long and it has good stabilization. It is perfect ;)
Robert Magier What are you currently using now? And did you use the standard camera for your videos?
this man is ghost. he has no shadow :O
Thank you so much for the info! (The "Hello, doggie" made me laugh, adorable) :)
Watched the whole video and only realized at the very end that you are in Barcelona! I was there a few years ago and we rode our bikes to that same park with the fountain at the end of your video. Thanks for the tips, and the humor was appreciated :)

Juraj B Dear Juraj an iphone is a smartphone like a lot of Android phone just do it. You really don't need an "Android" version do the same but you just have to apply the advices for Android. Go and download the Android App it's on Playstore :)
go type patrick levar
Can someone link pro cam app?
Charlotte Finch i dont think you can find this app any more. But "yamera" is a free app where you can lock your camera settings and use manual focus while filming
Blue Bacon you can. I found it.
Joshua Crayton where is it?
ProMovie is a great alternative
Thank you so much for this. This video gave me a hope for me to film with my little iphone 6s ❤️
Xtremely Helpful Tutorial bro. I like your style and you are correct that high end cameras are good to have, but knowing how to use any inferior camera to its fullest will help you the most. Respect
for sure!
anyone know a free app where you can set the frame rate on the app store?
iSaucy tvgfttui didi
ProMovie is pretty cheap. Like 3 bucks

Useful tips!!!

awesome vid! awesome tips! it's nice to see that filming (as well as sound recording) is becoming more and more compact and spontaneous. have pro-quality camera and a pro-quality recording studio in your pocket!
Thank you for this tip! Cant wait to put these tips into my video.
Thanks for video Thomas! In your gear list you recommend the shoulderPod as a stabilizer. I think this might be cheaper alternative for Zhiyun Smooth even if it is not so powerful. By the way I am thinking about going for your Steady Shots solution. Are there any iPhone related tips? Or is it related only for "real" cameras? Thanks and keep up good work!
urr so awesome! love how you use your talents and knowledge and incorporate it into your awesome vids.
This is really useful and very infomartive! Thank you.
