This has to be the most groundbreaking, understanding video on becoming an experienced artist with your iPhone cameras. Great job on the video and the stabilization of the camera. I have subscribed to your channel for the matter you spoke so clearly and went in detail about what it really takes to shoot stabilizing videos!!
I hve done a hundred overseas trips - and been in many amazing and unique situations - and I have hardly filmed or photographed any of it. I've often been too 'involved' in the situation to record it. But I have vowed to start documenting some of my trips - antartica and galapagos this christmas ... great things to begin with. So, thanks for your ideas - I am going to get my iphone earning it's keep this week. You have given me a great place to start. Thank you.
Recently just discovered your channel a few hours ago and it is so inspiring! Only watched a few videos so far but love your whole approach to photography/videography. Beautiful and simple! Great tips, stunning shots, love how it is achievable using minimal gear. So very clever! Also love that you make videos that are not too long and how you show the BTS against the final footage! Thank you so much for your work, I can imagine a channel like this started from a very humble place! Will be devouring more of your videos! :)
really love your way of presenting your content Bennett, thank you, learn great tips every time I tune in which help me tweak my video, keep them coming ✌🏻
You just blew me away yet again with such simple yet amazingly pertinent information. When I get my first Oscar I’m going to thank you for your cinematic inspiration.
Why did this video of yours come to my feed just now? Thank you so much for the simple but great instructional videos, Benett. I learned a lot, especially as a newbie.
When you edit, what are you setting your timeline and final output frame rate to? I too use 60 FPS 4k while recording on iPhone 14 and your videos have recently helped me get some great shots on vacation that I now want to edit. I’m using Resolve.
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,157 subs and > 900 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
@@BenettGraezer Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my UA-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a UA-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this UA-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
Hey there! Thanks for pointing that out. I do have an editing breakdown, but it's actually available exclusively for members inside the course. However, if you're interested in color grading, I've got some awesome tutorials up on my UA-cam channel that you can check out. They're pretty informative! Feel free to give them a watch. 😊
More great content Bennett - you do more with less than any other smartphone filmmaking guru. Two questions… 1. Since you are using the native app - is there anything that must be done to your clips before applying your LUT? and 2. Is it time to revisit iPhone editing apps that let you edit on the go? There are some new contenders for best smartphone video editor out there now. Again - thank you for all you do for us.
Thank you so much Philip! 1. Yes, i adjust exposure, saturation and white balance before applying the LUT for the look. 2. whenever I can I edit inside FinalCutPro as it offers more Advanced tools and I can also use some of my favorite plugins to enhance my videos. For quick social media post I like using InShot.
awesome video... how you are editing whip transition in (4:05) Final Cut Pro.. it will be great if you can make a separate video on how to edit that transition in Final Cut Pro....
Benett, thanks for a lot of great tips for B Roll footage using an iPhone! You have inspired me to look into adapting those suggestions to my Android and DaVinci Resolve editing. You can never have enough B Roll, right? Thank you for sharing this video!
Appreciate the split screen at the end showing final video playing alongside the BTS. 👍 [hint for more 😉] I love filming in forests, especially after a rain (visual, sounds and smells). IF there's sufficient light, I like to use a polarizer to reduce the glare on leaves, giving rich saturated greens. This is my #1 use of a polarizer even more than for water reflections or blue skies.
Hello, it’s great to see how you make it possible of creating a video through handheld. I do shoot but lacks to combine it. Will be glad if I can combine all of my shots in one video ❤
iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Camera is soo good that whenever you shoot a video like this, everything & every detail looks & feels Larger Than Life❤!! I mean only Apple can pull off something like this TBH!!! ❤!!!
