I was born in ‘64. I grew up to watching the old James Bond 007 movies of Sean Connery and Roger Moore, of course only when they were shown on ABC’s Sunday Night Movie of the Week. Then there was “Killdozer”, “Gargoyles”, “Duel”, “Night Of The Lepus”, plus countless others. Then you had “Kolchak”. Yes, as crude as TV antennas were, and black and white TV sets, I do miss those days. Last but not least, my Saturday mornings consisted of Johnny Quest, Looney Tunes, H.R. Pufnstuf, Hanna-Barbera cartoons, etc.

WOW that is crazy now over 109 thousand people have watched this movie in last then 1 year. Feels good to get so many hits. Thanks to everyone for watching.
This came out one week before I was born. I like to smile and think my mom might have watch this while I was waiting to pop out on the 15th of December 1970
It was good to see this movie again. Lee Majors was always my hero. This movie was first shown on this night, December 8th, 1970 on ABC's Movie of the Week. It's been 50 years since I've seen it.
Carol Lynley, Lois Nettleton, and Jane Wyatt: three beautiful, classy ladies in one movie! I always loved Lois Nettleton, with her bright eyes, classical features, and vibrant persona.
I was born in 1972 and after seeing so many previews and looking at these movies with amazing how many crazy movies were out before I was born and after I was born
Ooh just spotted doc from LHOTP playing another version of a good guy. .. I remember Carol Lynley quite well and she is one of the few who could play a Nun as regards no make-up because of her natural prettiness. Good film thank you 😊 unusual.
Watching this in Jan 2020, 50 years after its release. I'm 45 years old. This movie has got everything including Stockholm Syndrome..... What a movie! I loved it,..... from India!
kids..those are lee majors (steve austin-the six million dollar man) & robert conrad (james west-the wild, wild west)..famous tv series of my high school days. i didn't know they made a movie together. thanks for sharing...)))
haha love these 1970 movies...they always have an orchestra playing in the background....i imagine them all cramped in a cupboard somewhere in the scene!
I remember having a crush on Lee Majors. It is only now after years that I can say it- silly. I started seeing old shows of his in the 80s- and he has a singular voice, so although I didn't initially recognize him in the movie, once I heard the voice, I looked closer. Thank goodness, he doesn't want to murder the nuns. Good movie, thank you.
🖤🧑🍼🧑💻😔😞Please hope I don't see any MORE zombie films night of the living dead I'm not a zombie film fan they are my least favourite type of horror films.Hope I seen the last of them. NEED some originality in films that don't copy cat each other. SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT . A case of o seen this all before boring
What a find--I remember this from its original run back in the seventies! An ABC TV Movie-of-the-Week with better than average performances and the lovely and expressive Lois Nettleton wonderful as always. Thanks for this--brings back memories!
These old fashioned grindhouse style horror films from the 1970s are some of the best out there at times! I love this one, along with "Dark Night Of The Scarecrow," "World Beyond," "Trilogy Of Terror," "Headless Eyes," "Blood Of Dracula's Castle," "Stanley," "Pieces," "Carnival Of Blood," and "Curse Of The Headless Horseman"!
Wow, I never heard of this flick until now. Lois Nettleton is ravishing, and it's a trip seeing Lee Majors right after The Big Valley ended, with Robert Conrad right after Wild Wild West ended, and both playing bad guys.
Wild Wild West was my favorite TV show of the 60's. With Ross Martin, Robert Conrad starred in that great show. The show was like James Bond in post Civil War America with all kinds of gadgets and plastic explosives that did not even exist then. And Dr. Loveless was the perfect villain. Neat to see Robert Conrad in anything because I enjoyed him so much in Wild Wild West. I read he died recently but not before I got to meet him at a Hollywood collectible show. He was not a very nice man but I don't care because James West was my favorite character of all time in TV.
It's sooo funny how younger people say they love these 70's movies & then immediately start making complaints & say negative things about them at the same time......so "hypocrytical".....well i can tell you one thing these 70's & 80's scary & horror movies & the music also that we had then are BETTER any day of the week compared to just about ANY of the movies & music THIS day & time has to offer.
Amazing performance by Lee Majors. Its no surprise that he went on to become the Marlon Brando of his generation. He is indisputably the greatest American actor in history.
Laying on the floor of our living room with my Mom in her chair and we watched these movies. I miss those days..
I do too:) Such simple times.

Thanks! Big fan of this genre.
they don't make them like this anymore!! No special affects, just suspense and imagination.
+Tanya Stebbing No phoney CG...I hate that stuff...
yes. real and gritty and down to earth. The actors look ordinary rather than like film stars!! So prefer it.

I so miss this way of filmaking - character, story, background, build-up and atmosphere!!
now its all CGI, violence, splashy graphics, unreal looking actors!! sigh...

Lois Nettleton was in so many TV shows and movies back then.
70's movies rocks!
Pretty good movie. Remember it from a long time ago. Still getting a kick out of Carol Lynley being a nun. Thanks for posting.
She also played a nun in the Alfred Hitchcock Hour
joeyconservative she's so familiar, Was she not also on "The Flying Nun"?

Windy Moore Yes, but I "swear" the nun here with the glasses was in it too???
You could be correct in that. I just don't remember.
I love the accompanying music in these old 70's movies.

Robert Conrad of "Wild Wild West." Probably not long after that series ended...and now as a villain
Wild Wild West was my favorite TV show of the 60's. With Ross Martin, Robert Conrad starred in that great show. I was so in love with Lee Majors when he was on SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN.
I was only 10 yrs. Old when this was made. 1970.
If I was an actor in this film, I'd change my name to Aaron Aardvark, and get top billing.
I don't know why I still watched it till the end ...
I had a big crush on Robert Conrad back in the day, The Wild Wild West was such a great show

Never seen this film before, great idea for a plot. Love to see what they could do if they remade it , hopefully it wouldn't be too brutal.
