Holy s**t, I finally found it!! I have been searching for this horror movie for DECADES; it aired in 1974 when I was about 8 years old, and it scared me to death. Our great grandmother lived with us until she died when my siblings & I was quite little, later on her bedroom became my older brothers. My brother then learned the next day why Dave was so freaked out. True story.

Alfred Hitchcock wanted to make Vera Miles his next movie queen like Grace Kelly. Instead she wanted to have a family and married Mickey Harrgitay and had kids. It was years before Hitchcock would forgive her. Her career suffered for it but she’s always been a favorite of mine. Beautiful lady.

Yeah and Dena also played Dorothy's sister Gloria whom she never got along with in Golden Girls for 1 episode..Gloria sleeps with Stan making any reconciliation that Sofia wanted for them impossible..
I miss these 70's movies. Vera Miles has been in a quite a few good movies -- A Howling in the Woods, Live Again Die Again.. and she had a terrific turn on "Columbo". Boy, that moaning is creepy. Robert Stack sure picked a bad day to give up smoking. The ending is hilarious. As someone already pointed out the "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature" lady is in this movie.
the electricity and phone lines were cut, the sheriff said he would get the phone and electric out this morning, but somehow she was able to call the sheriff to come out, lol

Audrey and Felix in this movie which is Stan from the Golden Girls and the woman that plays Audrey was on the Golden Girls as well and they were in the episode where the hurricane was going to hit Miami in 1991 and Audrey is Dorothy sister in the Golden Girls episode and her and stan slept together. just some trivia!!
Neat. Very pretty! I worked with a lady with the last-name "Hayes" who named her daughter Crystal. Adding up to "crystal haze". I don't think it was even intentional. This was decades ago when "crystal" wasn't associated with a nasty drug.

Saw this one only a few months ago..im always disappointed when its not a supernatural reason for the disturbance! I so wanted this to be a Haunted House movie. :-(
Watching this movie and waiting for something supernatural to happen, I couldn't help thinking if this had been a Scooby-Doo plot, it would inevitably turn out that the "ghost" was just Old Man Jenkins faking the hauntings to scare the family off their property because something valuable was underneath it. And damned if this movie didn't come off like a Scooby-Doo plot after all.
I don't know about that but what I know is them all sleeping in the same room that was realistic and some other reactions were realistic... in todays movie they would continue to leave the child in room or lets go see what it is type attitude.... so this was refreshing
Just watched the trailer and yes, that looks very familiar, but I can't believe it came out when I was seven and I actually watched it. Maybe, I'm braver that I thought, LOL. Thank you!
It's amazing your parents let you watch it! Our parent threw us out if there was a single kiss or dress showing a bit of breasts! Even when we were 16 or 18!! After that we moved out and on a visit home our mum would try to turn the tv off just like she did when we were living at home. She'd turn the tv off even if no one was kissing! She'd do it as she felt like doing it, she'd say and we had to obey as she was our mum. Everything was forbidden. 😮

I agree
I really enoy the old movies like this one, thanks for sharing
Thanks for uploading this! I had never seen it. It was enjoyable and I really liked the family. Usually someone annoys me lol, but I liked them all.
Needing to be distracted from a lot of pain, what better than a film of my era! Got my chocolate and juice 🥤 and here we go...
12.11pm Tue 16th June 2020... P.S okay, yep good movie sadly seen before but ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ good watch, ran out of chocolate though!😂
Those pesky gophers!
Fun little film! Thanks for the upload!
Great to see this TV movie - many thanks for the upload!
Thanks for giving description.
I've returned to my favorite decade!
good gravy, 70s n 60s were the bests.
one of the best tv movies I've seen
SAW THIS MOVIE IN YEAR 1975 AS A KID!!.......LOVED IT!!......LITTLE SCARY THOUGH!!
You'd think Vera Miles would have learned to stay out of the shower after what happened to her sister at The Bates Motel.
It's 2 Entirely Different Situations Tho...
I remember Dena Dietrich playing Helen Roper's well to do sister Ethel, on the flash in the pan series the Ropers when I was a kid, around 1980.
Yeah and Dena also played Dorothy's sister Gloria whom she never got along with in Golden Girls for 1 episode..Gloria sleeps with Stan making any reconciliation that Sofia wanted for them impossible..
Agreat film but I knew from the beginning it was not a spooky movie just some one trying to get them out of the house 👌👍
Good movie I love the oldies thanks for uploading.
Many many thanks for sharing !
"It's not nice to fool Mother Nature"
YES!! LOL!!
Craig Zimmerman lol
Was that Vera Miles! I remember that margarine commercial.
i saw this when i was a kid. I found it terrifying back then. Especially when the manikin started moving towards her by itself in her bed room.
Thank you for sharing 😀
Thank You for the upload. Great Movie. I enjoyed it.
That movie is on the channel already. Search the title.
I'm 61 yrs old and I grew up watching these movies, they are the best ever, on the edge of your seat scary, lol. Good times❤😊
Thanks for the movie! ❤
the electricity and phone lines were cut, the sheriff said he would get the phone and electric out this morning, but somehow she was able to call the sheriff to come out, lol
I wondered about that too
"It's not nice to fool Mother Nature" is in this TV-movie---Dena Dietrich
those commercials used to slightly scare me when I was a kid!
Man, could we use Mother Nature now!
If your at home on the weekend with nothing to do, pop some popcorn , turn off all the light, get in bed under the covers and enjoy this old school good movie.👍
Good movie!!! Thanks! (love the ending)
Yes, I remember them all.. I have a friend who's name is Misty Snow. Her father is a dentist, and I think that he had fun with that name. lol
Neat. Very pretty! I worked with a lady with the last-name "Hayes" who named her daughter Crystal. Adding up to "crystal haze". I don't think it was even intentional. This was decades ago when "crystal" wasn't associated with a nasty drug.
That is what I thought! It seem familiar to me, from the Golden Girls show!
Hey, it's Stan from the Golden Girls!!
weatherlicious Herbert Edelman (Stan) wasn't in this movie.
If you're referring to the father, that's Robert Stack (host of Unsolved Mysteries)
Sorry, but yes he was. www.imdb.com/title/tt0072217/
weatherlicious
ah, my bad- thanks for the correction. :)
+Madame Fluffy lake bossssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
+weatherlicious and the woman he married to is Dorothy's sister Gloria frm the hurricane episode where she visited and was broke. then her and stan slept together.
Thank you for the movie, luved it....😁.
omg ... robert stack! Thanks for the upload
And damned if this movie didn't come off like a Scooby-Doo plot after all.
this is the first scary movie where the actors did everything like it would be in real life...
+Seeking Pathways Yes...today, the wife would take the gun and blow someone away. The husband would sit in the sheriffs office whining.
lol...
Beth Miletti See? I guessed right.
I don't know about that but what I know is them all sleeping in the same room that was realistic and some other reactions were realistic... in todays movie they would continue to leave the child in room or lets go see what it is type attitude.... so this was refreshing
+Seeking Pathways Yes...and the fact that after all that turmoil the dad is most concerned about the holes in his lawn....talk about real life !
The scariest thing about this movie is realising how much acting work herb Edelman was able to get in the 70s and 80s!
Very good movie! Thank you!
The moment i saw that dog i knew it wouldn't last, poor dog, tsk tsk
great movie. Thank you
Great Flick Thanks for this!
