I was thinking of building some kind of lever to steer with one hand on the left side of my kayak, but I like your idea… even simpler! I think I’ll just put the cord on my belly, tighten it so it’s comfortable, and just go! Or even complete the loop around the seat posts or something and just reach next to your hip with your hand and pull or push the rope… no need to mess with a lever!
Just rivet a couple pad eyes to guide the rope.
@@LunkerHunter exactly! 👍
Nice and simple. Ty !
No problem!
Add steering stick between knees for steering. A no hands system

I tried. I didn’t really like it…
Great idea!
Thanks!
Whats up brother this is a awesome set up you you have. do you think this same style will work on the lifetime teton 100. I have a fish finder on one rail the other is open
@@philrock__3388 yes, it will. My friend has this set up on his tamarack pro, which is similar to the Teton 100. Just be mindful up of the amount of weight you’re putting in the kayak. Good luck!
@@LunkerHunter Appreciate the response will do!!
@@philrock__3388 no problem. Good luck!
