Here's a first look at the 2019 RAM 1500 during its debut at the 2018 Detroit Motor Show. The new 1500 boasts a stronger, lighter chassis, heavily updated interior, and a mild hybrid system for its Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engines to boost performance and efficiency. The Ecodiesel will also be returning. Power and pricing for all trims is TBA.

Beautiful exterior, gorgeous interior.. Ram set the bar very high...
I can't get enough of this truck; GM and Ford have to be like "damn, these guys just don't stop". And you have to admit no matter what truck you like, this thing outdoes everyone in a lot of areas. Awesome truck.
im a die hard GM guy and i do not like the new chevys AT ALL . dodge killed it this time for sure!
Especially that Interior. At a glance it has to be the Standard.
don't get me wrong I like the truck but besides the interior which I really like the truck doesn't show anymore advancement over the truck its replacing. I know the 12inch screen looks nice but it does nothing different than the 8inch screen. The transmission is still an 8 speed, its still only 2 engine choices until they get the diesel back, its still the heavier of the 3, its still not the towing leader and the safety tech is less than the others. I do think the mild hybrid system is cool as hell. Dont get me wrong I wouldn't mind buying the truck but in my opinion its still trying to catch up. Out of the two new trucks though the Dodge hands down looks better than the chevy, besides the rebel version.

I'm a Dodge Man at heart! I love my current RAM 1500 Longhorn, but its time for an upgrade!

That is a frakin nice interior. Cooled, reclining rear seats! Pano roof. Still excellent storage. Still no power tilt/tele steering wheel, even on Limited! Power AMP running boards available. My bro-in-law’s 2010 F-150 has them and they have never given him one problem...great steps. Great job Ram...
I was perfectly happy with my RAM 2015 Sport........now this.....absolute BEAUTY! May have to look into it at the end of this year

Toribio Contreras - Why would styling have to be groundbreaking? Every time people do that they make the design look shitty and too futuristic with no purpose (function) that dies 5 years later. This is a Truck! and the design is eloquent yet masculine mixed with subtle touches and popping features (Ram head). Just look at the Chevy and how they are complicating the design to the point that the truck doesn't even look right due to them changing the exterior way too much. I use to like Chevy but their Trucks are just looking way over the top, Ram won me over. This is how I imagined an ideal truck and they made it on point. This is just my opinion anyways. This is a look that won't die anytime soon and will still be attractive because of its Classic yet modern look.

Always loved the Fords front ends but the 2019 Ram front ends beat that hands down. I have a 14 Ram and love it. Awesome Job Ram
Did anyone note that when the tailgate was opened the left side cable wasn't tight thus putting all of the stress on the right side cable .... Must have been assembled on a Friday !!!

Did not like the look at 1st but its growing on me im liking it now i have a 2017 big horn crew 5.7 love my truck. man 4' more on the crew and it reclins got me wanting to trade mine in but dont like the new start stop system sounds costly if it breaks down i dont know think ill wait for the next model change in 10yrs lol by then ill be near retirement and buy in cash.....

Hopefully you can get a 20" wheel on the higher trims. 22's are too big and the tires are like rubberbands. Not something I want on a truck or even on a car for that matter.

I would consider buying a Dodge truck now, but the only thing which worries me with all the new trucks is the thin bodies which can't stand up in a large hail storm. I have a Ford 2004 model which was damaged by one hail storm and the Escape also received damage in the same storm as they was parked at home costing over $5000.00 dollars in damage. My 1999 Explorer came through that storm like it did several other hail storms without receiving any damage. That is why I worry about that feature of any vehicle when looking to get another vehicle.

I can't help but worry about the hail storms since I live in a region where we receive the storms regularly each year in some parts of the state.

Some of us who live in rural areas don't have garages to park our vehicles in, and if you drive the newer vehicles and get caught up in hail storms either at work, or out while shopping your vehicles can be ruined after one good storm.

I hate to say but this new Ram looks a lot like the Chevy Silverado. Not to mention the hood badge looks odd where it's at and the new Ram emblem looks like a cut out from a pixelized game. One last thing is that the running boards look really cheap compared to the rest of the Truck
Nice looking truck design wise. But imo a lesser truck than the new Chev and dare I say even the New Titan. Que the haters. Plus also the interior is just, well fugly.

I called it. I said ram needed to do away with that old wanna be big rig look with the ridiculous front fenders. They did just that by going with the more traditional pick up style. That big rig look was cool in 1994 but it was tired. Good job. The new ram looks great. Still would never buy one though, GMC Sierra all day.

Lol have fun driving around in that hideous new sierra. The only good looking GM trucks were the 2007-2013 models. After that, shit hit the fan. They became boxes with wheels and look ugly as fuck. Especially the new 2019s. Id be embarrassed to drive one of those.

Far North Squirell As a hardcore Chevy and GMC guy I don't love the new look for 2019 bit I'll get used to it. It's a little too in your face. GM has always made their trucks with a smooth toned down look. So this new aggressive look is going to take some getting used to. I don't think it's ugly but I wish they would've just stayed more toward the look they have now. The Ram with that upside down handle bar on the grill, now that's hideous. I hope ram does away with that grill and just uses the straight across bar.

Good video. But they, the big 3 just copied Toyota Tundra and each other. Very sad. Glad I have my 05 Dodge 2500. It still looks like a DODGE and had the dross bars in the grill.

Although i´m more a Chevy guy ... This trucks interior outperforms even the Mercedes, BMW or Audi quality. To be honest, Chevy fucked up the interior with their 2019 lineup.
