After watching your video, I decided to trade-in my 2017 RAM Laramie Longhorn for the 2019 Limited. I am very impressed with the quality of materials and features. This is the 4th Ram truck I’ve owned and by far the best build quality of all I’ve owned.

Im from Australia and unfortunately we dont get the new facelifted model. What we do get is the previous, which sounds like the one you traded. @@mr.h3603 yes I traded the 2017 for the 2019 model in June and I love it. It's silver with chrome wheels and I changed the mufflers so the sound is deeper. I get a lot of compliments on the truck. The new safety features and 12" screen is awesome.

Work trucks spend a lot of time idling.. some fleet services use hour indicators as a means to keep up regular maintenance instead of just miles for this reason. 1 Hour of idling is equiv to about 30 miles on the odometer in terms of wear.
Both GM and Chrysler were bailed out by the taxpayer. Chrysler has been bailed out twice if you count the 70's then Lee Iacocca took over and revived it in the 80's. That's why I'm staying with Ford. Ford was not bailed out.

I'm not a truck guy, I prefer luxry cars but if I were to get a truck I'd definitely get this without a second thought. It really looks nice with that new headlight design, those wheels and the overall luxry package with that center screen.

Bought a Black RAM 2019 Limited in July 2019 and to this day it's still an amazing truck! 0 reason to replace and only at 46k miles right now. Rides as good as our previous Volvo XC90
Nice truck. Can't give trucks a fun factor of 1 when you never take them offroad. That's where they really shine and become "fun". You never try towing or hauling anything either with them. You should stop rating them like sports cars. The feather-light tailgates with controlled fall are awesome. That was a big improvement in the truck world. You don't want your truck to be too fancy if you plan on using it for what it is, unless you're a pavement princess lol.
It should be able to perform well enough off road, even stock. I'm sure it can do a lot more than just dirt roads. You should be able to get it stuck in some mud and get out fine with it. I'd be nice to see him take them offroad once and a while. Shoot, it's even fun just driving on some dirt roads with some ruts in the middle of nowhere, bouncing around a little, and hearing the sounds. Part of the truck experience that makes it fun to own one.
alcowherd7 Not true at all. TheFastLane took the newest 2019 Ram (albeit the Rebel) out to Moab where it performed quite well. Most of the trucks offered now have optional factory limited slip differentials, sway bar disconnects, and even lockers. Hell, the Power Wagon even comes with a winch mounted behind the front bumper incase you do get stuck.
His Doug Score system works for pretty much any car dude. He has the weekend category which works to grade the more sportier cars, and then the daily category works best to grade more normal every day cars. Then you combine both for the overall score. Some cars do well in both and those are at the top for being the most well rounded cars on the market that offer pretty much everything. I don't see what you think the problem is.

The speed limit warning going below the speed limit is for preventing yourself from going too slow on highways - I have come closer to accidents with those who drive slow on highways WAY more than I've had close chances with those who are going too fast....

The other advantage of air suspension on a truck, that I'm surprised the owner's manual didn't tell you about, is that it aids towing. You can level your truck's ride height to stop your trailer from sagging the rear suspension.
They are also good for knocking the tops off small snow banks at the end of your driveway when pulling in. We use nurf bars/running boards to protect the rocker panels in winter around here. I'd flip those down if I had to turn into an unplowed driveway at the end of my workday.

I'm not a truck guy, I prefer luxry cars but if I were to get a truck I'd definitely get this without a second thought. It really looks nice with that new headlight design, those wheels and the overall luxry package with that center screen.

I don’t really get the hate for this truck. It’s not for construction or pure utility. Living in an area close to lots of farms I know a ton of very wealthy people who, have, and want the most luxurious truck they can find. It’s a rural status symbol.

Nice truck. Can't give trucks a fun factor of 1 when you never take them offroad. That's where they really shine and become "fun". You never try towing or hauling anything either with them. You should stop rating them like sports cars. The feather-light tailgates with controlled fall are awesome. That was a big improvement in the truck world. You don't want your truck to be too fancy if you plan on using it for what it is, unless you're a pavement princess lol.
Scott M it's a stock truck, not an offroad SUV, hardly suitable for anything worse than a dirt road, so not much fun when it constantly gets stuck.
It should be able to perform well enough off road, even stock. I'm sure it can do a lot more than just dirt roads. You should be able to get it stuck in some mud and get out fine with it. I'd be nice to see him take them offroad once and a while. Shoot, it's even fun just driving on some dirt roads with some ruts in the middle of nowhere, bouncing around a little, and hearing the sounds. Part of the truck experience that makes it fun to own one.
alcowherd7 Not true at all. TheFastLane took the newest 2019 Ram (albeit the Rebel) out to Moab where it performed quite well. Most of the trucks offered now have optional factory limited slip differentials, sway bar disconnects, and even lockers. Hell, the Power Wagon even comes with a winch mounted behind the front bumper incase you do get stuck.
Completely agree with you Scott. Stop rating everything like a super high end sports car as a standard to be measured with.

You cant grade a truck in the same category as you do sports cars doug. You need to have a truck grade scale or something.
His Doug Score system works for pretty much any car dude. He has the weekend category which works to grade the more sportier cars, and then the daily category works best to grade more normal every day cars. Then you combine both for the overall score. Some cars do well in both and those are at the top for being the most well rounded cars on the market that offer pretty much everything. I don't see what you think the problem is.

The other advantage of air suspension on a truck, that I'm surprised the owner's manual didn't tell you about, is that it aids towing. You can level your truck's ride height to stop your trailer from sagging the rear suspension.
Extending the running boards with the doors closed is handy when washing the truck or loading gear if you have a rack up there.
Or when launching sidewinder missiles.
You forgot when you are raiding the crack house around the corner and you have SWAT hanging off the running boards
They are also good for knocking the tops off small snow banks at the end of your driveway when pulling in. We use nurf bars/running boards to protect the rocker panels in winter around here. I'd flip those down if I had to turn into an unplowed driveway at the end of my workday.
