I’m a Ford guy and that is a nice Ram ... no two ways about it.
So this should be right up your alley seeing as it's a 5.7L Tundra.
The interior is really nice, but Chrysler has been good at interiors for a while. They also always have the Doug DeMuro easter eggs now.

It’s actually to measure fish. The fold out little divider under the seat is for fishing poles and the under floor bin is removable if you want to Carry tackle or bait and such. The ruler is to measure your catch if you need to make sure it’s legal size.
It's tough selling vehicles. I like these guys.

Troy Levy , the 2019 Denali may end up looking nice on the outside. But it still will have that warmed over 2005 GM truck interior. Dodge is next level...

A lot of trucks are priced very high right now. They are selling body on frame SUVs for near $100k. The previous Ram had a trim level close to $100k. But no way you can price all your vehicles that high. Guessing the Tradesman starts at mid $20k.
I don't like the Front Fascia. I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota with a hideous Front Fascia. I won't put a lot of money into a vehicle that is ugly like this is. For me, only the tradesman and Rebel have a front fascia I can live with until they refresh the line. Also no 6.4L hemi which is disappointing.

They should have a button that you could push to swivel the center 12"display slightly towards the driver when needed.

I myself own a 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum but the Ram looks a lot more tech so may have need to switch
I don't see a lot more tech... I see a bigger touchscreen, but Ford has had many of these features already.
Beautiful truck, but the knob shifter and turning off technology kills it.

Not sure why some people are saying Ram is copying Ford with things like the panoramic sunroof, powered running boards, etc. Unless it’s probably called ‘exclusive’ to the brand, it’s fair to use. Sure, you can give Ford credit for leading with it for all trucks, but there’s nothing wrong with using what’s working with the competition and applying it to yours. More power to Ford for leading the way for those nice features. Things like the built it tail gate step from Ford, the corner steps from Chevy, and the 4 corner air suspension from Ram are what you call ‘exclusive’ and unique to each brand.

Tundra had the best styling, not anymore. GMC had the best muscle look, not anymore. Chevy had the best tough look, not anymore. The only thing is it is reliable and more durable than a F150, only time will tell. But this is the type of truck you can take on a date or get it dirty at work, well done Ram well done.
Ford has had a lot of these features in some way, shape, or form... but I really like what I see here! Touchscreen is sweet!!!
Are Ram reliable? I have never owned one. This model is making me consider Ram seriously.
My 2011 1500 slt 4x4 5.7L is still going strong at 198,000 miles. I've only had to change 2 light bulbs. Its important to point out that I have kept on top of the scheduled maintenance as one should always do with their vehicles. If you ignore this, reliability issues are the fault of the operator.
Oh sweet, the electronic steps are already broken..didn't go back up. Well it's a dodge but it is also now one of the most feature packed and nicest looking trucks on the road. I'd actually consider a Ram 1/2 Ton now.

This is real nice from the inside. It's bad ass how dodge designed the interior, especially that screen!!.... BUT the front end reminds me of the GMC sierra denali

I cannot wait to take this out for a drive. This truck is a game changer. Ford nor Chevy don’t have this kinda look, the drive and the luxury. Laramie would be a nice start but DAMN this Limited is no joke.

Not to go all truck warish, but my 2016 150 Lariat 502a has most of the features (pano sunroof, trailer backup, adaptive cruise control, heated back seat, heated steering wheel, remote start, power telescoping wheel, I can go on) That’s third from the top trim level followed by the Platinum and Limited.
The huge screen on the Ram is nice.
I don't think it's a game changer. Looks pretty par to the coarse. Now if it had an electric drivetrain for the front wheels and weighed under 6000 lbs, that would be pretty game changing. This is more like applying existing technology that Chrysler already uses to their highest selling vehicle.

u have to remember thats just for this year u know every year they r.going to add more and more features and higher line models. ram os going to offer over 200 custom accessorys from mopar. u want it u can have it and then some
This is definitely the best looking Ram yet. I just wish they would use leafs in back instead of coils. Them coils don’t take any weight for shit unless you add air bags.

My 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7L iForce V8 will probably out live this Ram, just saying, at 107K miles. The reclining seats, was already done in the 2007 Tundra Crewmax model which I have. It's a very nice truck!

I think the new Ram looks awesome...But I do see tons of people complaining about touchscreen function issues, and people always bitch about the drive mode selecter being a dial...That's normally a deal breaker for the old-timers who hate all that crap and want simple turn key over push button.

looks like a horrible truck design with too many electronics that are gonna die and not be able to be driven in 10 years to me.
They failed to mention the aluminum hood and tailgate
95% of the fixtures offer will never be used if these truck was being used for people in construction or commercially. The most used are probably key engine start, radios and lift up back seat. Construction guys have their own rulers, they are not going to drag around a bin which have a notch ruler on the lip.
The most important is the price..what you get for the base model..

Straight up, I’m a chevy man. The ‘07-‘13 chevy’s didn’t care for. I like the ones they have now but don’t care for the new style their coming out with but THIS TRUCK IS SEXY!!!! Might have won me over with this design. Now I just need money lol.
Only thing I’d change are the wheels ... go with a smaller wheel to get more sidewall and some A/Ts.
This new Ram seems pretty nice but it looks like the new GMC Sierra absolutely blows this thing away especially with the new carbon fiber rear bed you can't break the damn thing and the tailgate is phenomenal! I have the top of the line Ram truck now it's only a year-and-a-half old but the Hemi engine already has problems! My neighbor has a 2016 GMC and he abuses the crap out of his truck and his V8 5.3 has almost twice as many miles as mine and it seems almost like a new truck still so I would not go for a ram V8 I would probably get the diesel at least I know it would last as long as a Chevrolet V8 or GM V8 I have actually driven his truck and was very impressed! What are your guys take on the new 2019 Sierra even though it's not in yet what do you think about it? I really I'm leaning towards waiting for the new GMC before I purchase!
It's actually distressing that Toyota-Lexus which still has fixed suspension both rear and front in all of their vehicles, as well as dry and poor amenities in their most luxurious vehicle the Lexus LX 570, and you find this totally amazing fully loaded with unimaginable amenities, bills and whistles and all features one would ever think about, still you find so many people go buy that poor, dry Lexus LX 570 and leave this gorgeous truck. Such absurdity is distressing.
Price! Ya, MSRP means,manufactures SUGGESTED retail price, the ACTUAL price is the down payment, the rest is PROFIT. Wake up! How do you think they stay in business?
Dodge has hired a pro designer i really like this model year! Before this model year was thought of the 2009-2018 LOOKS THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the truck but calm down for f.... sake. The beginning felt like an infomercial. I had it to 1:45 before I had to write this.
The truck is pretty awesome and will sell itself if you simply go over the mods. Like the bigger front brakes, larger cab, stronger frame, higher towing numbers, larger RamBox and rear floor storage, air suspension 2.0 with auto leveling, etc...
Once again RAM is a first on so many items. Lot a people don't know how many cool truck things came from RAM (and Dodge back in the day). For instance, first for disc brakes ever in a truck. the list goes on and on. RAM really did a great job on this truck - other manufactures even admitted it.
That is one badass truck
Dodge just keeps making look a like trucks....prior was the super duty design and the 2019 looks like a combo of the Chevy/Gmc. How about creating something original ??
I bet you can play DVDs on that. I could on my 2013 Charger, just not while moving. Wouldn't surprise me if you could play DVDs or Bluray, that would be even better.
i just love ram this whole vid made me wish i was 16 and allowed to get my first vehicle. but the rear head rest that folds down made me amazed by how much they thought about their customers with this truck. they have to make this come with the gooseneck/ fifth wheel towing prep because even though i can't drive yet, i still back up the 24 ft. gooseneck livestock trailer in my dads ram 2500 when we take my steers to the fair and the head rest always finds a way to get in the way and im worried the trailer is too close to the window due to our 6'4" bed. sadly my truck is probably going to be a 2016 or 17 like big horn that way it only cost like 20k to 25k. but this new truck blows away ford and Chevy 2019 with its new technology.

This is the stupidest design choice Chrysler could have ever done in the history of ever. Dodge had one of the last good and aggressive looking trucks on the planet and they just completely fucked it up now. Its looks ugly and futuristic. It looks like a fucking car now. I hate it. Why Chrysler? Why fuck up the last good thing you had truck wise?

so glad I saved nearly 20 grand off sticker and bought a 17. nothing on this new one I'm missing as I wouldn't get the limited trim (I got the Big Horn) I wasn't impressed with Android auto so I got a 17 and saved a ton. when im done with this one Im sure ill enjoy a new ram like this in a couple years though.

Should never buy 1st model year. Well, maybe not never but just be ready for some issues. That said the 2018's and '17's have got to be really dialed in, 10 years to smooth it out. Kick in the end of run deals and I'd say the current model is the way to go.

It is 1st quarter of 2018. This should be called 2018 Ram 1500. You are not going to feel futuristic sitting in 2019 model released in 2018.
The branding badge on the hood looks grossly out of place! There's already a branding badge on the front door. The log badge on the tailgate is HUGE!

This truck is a real go-getter, but it's definitely going to be expensive. Just look at the design and technology. Dodge must have put tens of thousands upon thousands of dollars on this truck!
Actually you can play DVD’s on some Auto infotainment screens. Hyundai has offered this on their Genesis’s for years now. So the young salesman could be correct.
