I wanted to express my appreciation for your walk around and guided tour... I presently own a 2016 Laramie Eco Diesel... after researching the available 2019 information, I am disappointed by their lack of an immediate 3.0L eco option and pricing info... my present ownership experience of my 2016 eco and it's performance has been outstanding... from 1984 to 2002 I sold Chrysler and Sterling Trucks to govt entities, these new Ram trucks, are really pricey, but, their power trains, performance, engineering and quality far surpasses their predecessors. as always, there is one negative that I must address, and that is a lack of color selection availability within the differing package selections.. once again, thanks, I enjoyed your video op-ed...
I'll have the LIMITED. I love my RAM trucks.

These are beautiful trucks I love the new front end and the quality interior.
I Pick up my Bighorn that I ordered, tomorrow. Ordered with everything in the Bighorn model line except the heads up display. Could not use the heads up because I’m putting a cap on and it effects the rear mirror. When you thing of it (and build one up) the Bighorn loaded has the same mechanical items, engine, transmission, transfer case, everything mechanical as the higher end models and is very well equipped. It’s 5-6 thousand less then the Laramie and about 12 thousand less then the Limited. All your paying for are bells & whistles. Don’t get me wrong, I do love bells & whistles, my 300C has everything, but this is a vehicle that the wife & I only need for a little traveling/vacation & pulling a boat. I do have a 2010 Ram I ordered that I just love & going to keep.

i have a collection of old mopar muscle cars (Barracudas, 2 68's and 2 69's). i purchased a new RAM 3500 dooley in 2015 as a tow vehicle. i started out with a Tradesman work truck regular cab, 8' bed 4x4 and added $18k in options to it. i wanted a VERY "conventional" truck so it has a trans shift lever on the steering column and an "old fashioned" 4x4 shift lever on the floor. it is the maroon/wine color with a grey cloth buckets, sliding rear window, CD player, 8" radio display, power windows, extra dash switches, factory trailer controller. i got the cummings with the AISAN trans which tuned the truck at the full 900 lbs. of torque. it has exhaust break, heavy towing package with the aluminum rear diff cover, factory spray bed liner, factory 5th wheel hook up in the bed with wiring, class IV frame mounted rear hitch and 4:10 gears. i have had a bunch of exhaust/emission gremlins but chrysler/cummings has fixed all. this truck will run 80 mph all day long and i get 19 mpg at 74 mph highway and 15 mpg around town. i have had bobcats and backhoes hooked to the back and the truck acts like it's not towing anything. the recalls and exhaust/DEF problems have been a pain but i LOVE the truck. it actually rides pretty nice empty for a 1 ton truck and i ALWAYS get a kick out of rolling up on a Prius at 75 mph on the interstate, flashing the high beams and blasting past. with all the lights on at night, it looks like a Kenworth in a rear view mirror. while the truck is a 2015, i've only got a little over 10k miles on it. it is basically one giant, heavy-duty "around town" short-distance driver. i don't like the direction the trucks are going with everything looking like a cross between a Transformers movie vehicle and an Alien Ware laptop video game computer. my 1 ton diesel 4x4 RAM LOOKS like a TRUCK - and i LIKE that!!
My favorite one is mine 2007 longhorn edition until I buy one of this new one.. you got to love Dodge Ram

they have always had the cd player option. My 13 had one and my 16 has one.
Gary Rice i know some have them but not all i have a 2014 tradesman with uconnect 5 inch screen and it doesn't
my comment is that they all have it in the new generation of ram and the cd player is back in the dash
My 2015 EcoDiesel has no CD player. Kind of sad.

Beautiful trucks, but I still want a basic truck with a 5 speed stick shift. I love the tool boxes. Great feature. I own a 2017 base model with a quad cab comfortable ride. I love it. Got a great deal on it that fit my budget.
Laramie Black Edition or Longhorn would be my favorites of the two. Love the wood/saddle brown in the Longhorns, and the tech. You missed the LED-headlights, two different housings & grilles. The Limited & Longhorn had the upgraded one, and the Laramie had the 'standard' LED's. There's one more a step down that still uses halogen, that I've seen. Good video, liked the walk-around.

Trucks are just too damn pretty nowadays. Miss Dad's old 1978 Chevy Scottsdale. Even though it wasn't a RAM, it was a truck that meant manly business and was something you didn't mind scratching, bumping or fucking something up with.

The ram 1500 sport GT with the E torque hemi is my favourite.
this truck has more to offer than a modern day space shuttle which gives dodge more to offer than the people can handle

I sat in the back of the Lonestar and noticed it didn't have reclining seats. That should be standard in that trim. I hope it isn't a crazy expensive upgrade.
To recline the back seat, there should be a bar underneath the front of the seat bottom cushion. Slide forward and the seat reclines. This is to allow for maximum cabin space.
Diesel Drives Yes that was in the limited that I sat in as well....but not the Lonestar at the show. It looks like the reclining rear seat is going to be an option.
Dodge outdid themselves on these beautiful trucks! I have a 2019 Laramie and it's the best vehicle I've owned hands down!
Is their a basic workhorse verson for people who want say a fleet of field trucks for oil patch work or farmers or loggers etc? These are more like businessmen cars.

To me the big horn black with the 12 inch screen alpine 9 speaker with subwoofer sound system with deluxe cloth seats is the Best Buy the other ones just have things you’ll never use ever. But that’s just my preferences in a truck if I wanted Mercedes suv I would get one 😂

This is the Lonestar Sport. There is a regular Sport Edition with the sport hood. Looks better than this one.

Why do ford and dodge both offer a “limited” trim . Anyways ram now has the best truck of the big three IMO.

The Laramie longhorn is nice but those back seat flap things are hideous. I also like the headlights on the sport one, the 2nd truck he showed better than the other 2. They're bigger and don't get smaller like the other ones.

Yes, but later. They're currently built at the Heavy-Duty plant, and the production of HD trucks is about to move or has already started the process. Once the HD trucks are going again after that point, the single-cab trucks will return. Down side to upgrading everything, you have to retool & re-time the release of everything.
mike racicot they will they r staring off with production of the 4 door trucks first because thats the main ones people buy they will b making the 2 door later in the year. plus demands will b so high its going to b hard enough 2 keep up with 4 door sales at first. u will still b able to get the older style one also for now they will b.operating 2 different plants for now till they get totally changed over on every thing

The Limited is more of a "city slicker" truck. The Longhorn is "cowboy/rancher" all the way. The interiors are both top-notch and they are equipped the same. I don't know how it would cause accidents, ACC keeps a distance preset by the driver and applies the brakes whenever needed. It is far safer than using CC alone.
Works flawlessly in my SRT.
But yes, you have to activate it after engaging CC.
It is optional/disable-able. It's a cruise control, not an auto-pilot system like Tesla claims to have. It doesn't steer for you, it just brakes if it needs to when traffic slows. They've had it in their cars for years.
Limited is the best of the pick..
Those sensors on the rear bumper will get ruined off road.
I just had to buy 2 new sensors for my 2012 within the last 4 months.

Actually, it's a speaker grille. But the treatment is different between Limited and Longhorn. I'll find out more next week as I'll be driving the Ram trucks and talking with Ram engineers.
Longhorn purely the storage box intergerated into the truck itself unlikely Nissan Titan.

Interior looks nice with great features. Outside styling not the best. Reliability is also not the best. And, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing I had a Dodge parked in my garage. For service, the Dodge/Chrysler dealership in my neck of the woods super sucks!! Both my son and daughter each have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and their experience at the dealer is the worst
