the fog lamp/cornering lamp combo is the freakin' bomb! several other automakers offer similar systems on their cars, but this will be the first application on a full size truck. trust me, once you drive an automobile that has cornering lamps, you will grow to love 'em!

I am driving luxury sedans for the last 10 years - this will be my first pickup truck! No longer a crappy plasticky, low end hillbilly-wagon - the ram 1500 is basically a luxury sedan with more space.
That feature where the fog light turns on to the side you turn is just insane detail 😍

I ordered my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie with the Black Appearance Package almost 4 months ago. Several delays (not normal and being honest) and they say it should be here sometime in July. Longest time to wait for a new vehicle but I know it will be worth the wait. Your awesome video's have helped so much!

Man great video! Exactly what I was looking for . I got a 2015 c 300 a few years ago and at night the lights inside are great and really ad a lot to my enjoyment of the car and how nice it feels . I might be crazy and the only one that feels that way about small details like this but I do lol. I’m thinking the new ram might be my next vehicle

I'm glad to see in the Ram that when you dim the lights the Center Information Display on the Dash ALSO DIMS, I hated that on my previous F150 and my Current mustang that when I dim it all the way that the center screen is still bright and it has no blank screen option on the Mustang.
Man! I have been trying to figure out why I kept seeing lights come on and off while I was turning 🤦🏾♂️ thought something was shorting out. I have searched online for the last week for answers... Finally got it! 😆😆 I feel so slow

Yes I still have it. It has 80k miles with zero problems.
I think dealers need to publish pictures of this, much nicer at night. I did the lighting on the HVAC, each knob surround is illuminated by a single Led. We use lighting simulation software to predict illumination.

If anyone is weird and really like the lights on interior of vehicles check out the 2016 and newer e class at night .. man it’s the best car for amazing night experience lol
Hey Mike! Thanks for the great videos you do. If possible, could you do a 2019 RAM LIMITED at night? I for one am glad IIHS and others are finally rating headlight safety. If you can see better at night you wont hit wildlife or other things in the dark.
With all of these LED lights, why did they choose to neglect the tailgate overhead light?
Yeah that was a shame to see. Water always found its way into my third brake light and shattered the incandescent bulb. Threw a CANBUS LED in there like it should've had from the factory.

very good clip. Is it still possile to have white turn signals in the front and red in the back? And why are those bed light, sunvisors lights and glovebox light still not LED?
I have the same truck the daytime running light option just keeps your headlights one during the day. It actually has nothing to do with the actual daytime running lights, just keeps the headlights on.

Love the new 2019 Ram’s... except for the LED headlights/fog lights. The depth of the LED’s doesn’t compare to HID Xenon lights.
Anyone knows if these lights can be modified ?
pjsanab I just bought this same truck and these LED headlights are much brighter than the Bi Xenon headlights that were on my Grand Cherokee as well as my wife's BMW. They shoot out farther also.

Hey Mike, nice video! I noticed the 2020 RAM’S only have one little adjustment wheel right of the headlight switch compared to two on the ‘19’s. Do u know why that is? Did they remove the ambient lighting adjustment? Thanks

Just learned you can change the gages to blue like the limited. It's in the settings under "theme". Ram just released the video today on how to switch it.

As far as the lighting that runs along the dash, my Laramie only has the light on the driver's side. I can't even see where there is a light when looking in there during the daytime. The only light I see on the passenger side is a little bit of light bleeding out of the glove box.
The cornering light is news to me. Is that a feature across the board including the Rebel? I don't think the one in this video is a Rebel.
SF0311 big horn and up with led package and they only work when the fog light are off it’s pretty much your fog lights coming.
Aren't LED lights supposed to be in a projector housing? I'm surprised these are as bright as they are, based on other videos I've seen. I'm confused why this is standard, but LED in projector is standard on higher trims. Pardon the pun, but can you shed any light on that? Will I have plenty of visibility without blinding other drivers? This video seems to answer yes, but I'd also like your opinion, having driven it.
Also, is the ambient lighting white only? Is it a true white in person or does it have any hint of blue in it? I can't stand blue-white light so that would drive me bonkers. Thank you SO much for this video! Your reviews are my favorite :)
Reflector LED's are used in mainly Fords. They don't have to be in a projector since they are specifically designed to work with the reflector housings. The projector style LED's are an upgrade because the light is more focused, giving a better cut-off line and using the full power of the LED's. The video is decent for showing the output, however, I can't tell too well in the video so I would need to see in person. But in general, the projector style headlights will be better than the reflector style
NOLAItsNotOva I disagree because I had hid projectors on my Daytona and now have these lights on my big horn, I’ve notice a lot of automobile manufacturers are going to the led reflector set up because the light is brighter and crisper than a projector ball, these lights are bright as hell. Mercedes, Range Rovers, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Chevy, everybody is doing it and if you ask me BMW experimented with it first. I can almost guarantee the projector ball will be phased out.

I honestly did not like it. I prefer red in taillights. Amber gets ugly by the red light
One good thing about amber turn signals is they cannot be confused with the brake lights.
