With ya on the floppy Bibles! I would love to see real leather, over board. Thomas Nelson has a zipper NKJV. BUT I already bought the leather “ mini Maclaren”. Only paid 50 bucks.. But 7pt font. ( and no zipper). New subscriber….Forest Bible, love it! Thx for your time.
We'll get some more leather over board Canterbury bibles from Schuyler later this year. Good news for the KJV fans. Hopefully they'll expand to other translations someday. Thanks for the support and for your kind comment 🙏
ESV gets almost all the current options, all the time. I've handled a few variants, IMO go calfskin full yapp PSQ for general use. Merlot is amazing. I feel drawn into a grudge match critical text vs "traditional" (I despise calling it TR/received, etcetera when the lines are blurred especially with NKJV taking all that into account and including a lot in the footnotes [and careful wording to be inclusive of multiple source materials if possible] since '82 pre-internet when most people were too ignorant to even know the difference), and I wish NKJV had the same support the ESV does so I could aesthetically pair them easier. I literally have a red vs blue pair right now, I'd like dual merlot and dual black pearl calfskins...... or a matching pair of ESV/NKJV Treveris, all of them?
@@claudiabruno1448 Hi Claudia! I'm sorry to say that I don't have this Bible anymore, but I will say that I observed very noticeable gilting scratches at the top and bottom of the block due to the zipper. Many other reviewers have noted the same problem, at least with these earlier zipper bibles. Hope this helps!

Wish they made an ESV Imperial Blue zippered Edition
I believe they did in the first run but just ran out of stock. Hopefully they'll include some in the next run!

Excellent review. Thank you. 👌👍
Thanks Mike!
Any consideration of selling?
This one was sold long ago, unfortunately!
How is the gilding holding up with the zipper?

is that bible in bible giveaway
I don't have a giveaway going...though Frost Leather Rebinding has one going on his channel if you'd like to check that out
You have two totally different grains of leather. The newest is a cheaper pebble grain leather.
How does it age? I'm waiting on long term reviews before I try one. I want a leave in the car bible.
Nice review and intro man! 😂
Thank you 😂😂😂 it's a work in progress
@@WontonDisciple I really only recognized 2 or 3, I need to pay more attention to reviewers intros I guess lol
Single-column bible's are calling your name, my brother! Double-column bible's just ain't it. :P
Once Thomas Nelson makes one I'm into, I'll switch!
