Yes! Super clean format, and size is even great for at home reading! Would be cool to get a full size Quentel at some point but I hear mixed reviews on the 28gsm on the bigger size. Also Schuyler’s are pricey 😅😂
I really wasn't planning on buying another Bible, but that tuscany colour was just too tempting, so I ordered another Canterbury. I used to carry a Cameo to church, but aged eyes and my church having the lights on low makes a full size Bible worth carrying.
Great review. I've just discovered your channel because UA-cam suggested it to me. I've a green version of this exact Bible on the way currently and am looking forward to it! Keep up the great videos!!
Thank you!! yeah I’m pretty new to Bible reviews but it’s awesome to here people are enjoying my content! Oooo green is a unique looking color too! These Schuyler Bible’s are great, enjoy!!
The dots & stuff as you call it 😂 its the nature marking from that particular cow. So it could be a bug bites or a little scar. But that what's makes real leather so special. Even if you purchased 3 others Bible in the same exact leather each one will have a distinct marking effect aka leather grain pattern (animals finger print) and or battle scars. If you ever get one with a huge scar or brand on it let me I prefer the natural look VS the mass product look.
I don’t own a Schuyler bible yet but for the first time in about 2 years of watching premium bible reviews, I am actually interested. The Tuscany leather looks amazing and I considered the PSQ, but a little offput by the size. I didn’t expect the “personal” size (by Schuyler’s definition) to basically be about the same footprint of the Pitt Minion by Cambridge (just much thicker.) I already own 3 Pitts, each in a different translation. Since I don’t feel the need to have another one that small, I’m looking for a more true personal-sized one… one that sits between the Full-sized Quentel and PSQ. That would be perfect and perhaps Schuyler will consider making one in the near future. At least, I would like to hope so ❤ Thanks for the review. It appears Schuyler does an amazing job with their bible. The gold gilding and yapp are just superb!
Yeah it really seems to be an all around quality Bible! Awesome that you’ve found a premium Bible cover your interested in! Also regarding your thoughts on the Pitt comparison, I understand not wanting to add to your “small Bibles” but I feel a big pro to the PSQ would be that it has a much bigger font at 8.5 rather than the 6.75 in the Pitt Minion.
@@ancalagon0216 yeah I considered the Pitt but I really wasn’t sure I liked the format. Maybe someday but for now this is my preference out of the 2 ✌🏼
@@SGRBibles oh ok makes sense! Actually NLT has been my favorite, paired with the ESV for deeper study. I’ve just been wanting to try a more “medium” translation. I started reading from the little pocket CSB New Testament I had before getting this and liked it so far
It’s a beautiful Bible. I am getting me a Personal size, Marbled mahogany, Canterbury KJV. Can’t wait. My only other premium Bible is my Cambridge Concord Wide Margin Goat Skin KJV. I’ve had it a year and use it every day. It has held up magnificently.
Awesome! I have a the NKJV PSQ in the marbled mahogany and it is nice as well! That’s cool, I’m newer to knowing about all these premium Bible options but it’s great to see Bibles that are made to last
@@TheBibleReviewer I absolutely agree. A paperback ESV literally saved my life. So Gods word is what matters, but since I was saved, I was tearing up Bibles, one after another, using super glue & packing tape to preserve them to keep my notes. I had no clue what a premium Bible was.. I finally discovered Bible Buying guide and was like a 7 yr old walking into Toys-R-Us for the first time.. 😂. I was torn between the Cambridge, Allen & Schuyler wide margins & grabbed a Cambridge a year ago from last Thursday because of all the note paper in the back & the classic look of the Bible. It has held up like a champ, and I can say it’s been opened and closed with notes and highlights EVERYWHERE for 367 days straight now, and when closed, looks brand new still. Now I’m looking for a handy size so I’m grabbing the Schuyler Personal Canterbury & an Allen Ruby over the next two months. Anyway, keep up the great work with the channel. I will be watching the videos. May GOD Bless you Brother.
Love your videos brother! That bible is gorgeous I'm thinking of picking one up when they pop up again on the website but I've only ever bought black bibles so it's a little nerve wracking buying a bible with such a bright color😅
@TheBibleReviewer thank you so much for replying! And a natural look is what I care about so thank you very much and God bless brother looking forward to more videos!
It would be nice if Schuyler picked up the GSM to 43 as compared to its 28 GSM. The paper is average but it's too thin. I have a NLT Tyndale Select and the paper is not that great. It's 28 and it is just too thin. You should have purchased an Allan NIV reader which has a 36 GSM instead. Schuyler can make better Bibles but they need to have thicker paper on its Bibles, period. The NLT Select from Tyndale has been discontinued, but it's a nice Bible, but I wish that its paper had a higher GSM. Thin paper rips if one is not careful. April 2023. USA.
Unfortunately this exact “full yapp” version is sold out. But! I updated the link so that you can now click it and check out the regular version that still uses the same type of Tuscany leather. ✌🏼
@@TheBibleReviewer I just ordered my 2nd one an hour ago, and my first one arrived a couple weeks ago. It’s super nice! The one I got today is the PSQ for a smaller footprint, in the black pearl calfskin.
@@Douleuo thanks. I'm trying some cambridge this year too, they seem to be less shifty, lose that silky feel though. I'm inclined to think they might be the better option for larger bibles (but that's based off one recent topaz acquisition, i could just have a stiff one).
