I just bought my L 2501 two week ago and yesterday I heard this rattle and low in behold, I found your video actually by going to Google images. Going out now to put your fix on it.
The real miracle is how good the paint still looks on your foot boards. Especially the clutch side, mine is basically gone. But nice fix on the Loader stick, now I have to do that well.
Yeah it’s a really easy fix and definitely worth doing. The paint on the floorboards is pretty much worn from only cutting grass (clean shoes)

My loader stick is just as loose as yours but my engine doesn’t seem to make it rattle or I’m deaf!!! But I have wanted to tighten it up or at least reduce the play in it so I will do this. Thanks!
Yeah that three cylinder at idle has just the right resonance to make that joystick vibrate like crazy
