Although I have a more professional set of pedals but seeing a company innovates LC with magnetic sensors for under 200 makes me happy. On the other hand, seeing a company makes a wheel rim for over 600 makes me sad. Durability, functionality and value matters much more than esthetics.
There's even more than a grand for a modified tm f1 wheel. Crazy
All I need is the shape of a wheel with some buttons and dials on it, and a second wheel to go for open wheel. What I don't need is two €200 logos smh

Thanks William. I would like to see a direct comparison between these and the CSL Elite pedals. Granted, thes should win in dependability, but the Fanatec pedals are far more versatile than these. On the other hand, these appear to be mod-able, so things like pedal feel can be altered. March the 22nd is going to be interesting.

This may be my next purchase, I have been toying with the idea of getting in to sim racing for the last year! and a few months back I started to work towards this goal. And have completed my 1st working rig just before christmas.
My set up is restricted by my availiable space so with this in mind I decided to go VR which I am loving and find really game changing compared to a single monitor.
I have also purchased a cheap but pretty solid fold up wheel stand and a T300 rs, I am really impressed with the actual wheel. (may get a bigger rim at some point but not unless I see one on sale or as a package with a handbrake or something, I will wait)
The pedals not so much they are the cheap 2 pedal set, The accelarator is ok but creeky and the brake is well a bit shite really lol.
I am mainly playing Project Cars 2 and the only assist I am using is ABS on low to help mask the pedal sets flaws, I still try to use the pedal as if I was not using ABS tho.
Also I would like to get a H shifter in the future wich in my opinion needs a clutch.
I may DIY mod the brake pedal in the mean time if I find a suitable piece of rubber :)
I was looking at these but I only have a TMX not sure if it was mentioned if these are compatible so long as the T3PA etc were. Problem is for what I just saw and where I see myself headed once my rig is built I am going to want to go ahead and upgrade the wheel console etc and pedals and will want specific pieces by then that all have to play together. These would just leave me wanting more soon after I can feel it. Thanks for the review.
When you set it up to significantly bring down the preload, did you use all the washers (spacers whatever one call it)?

11:46 I have the same problem when I try to heel and toe in real cars. The brake pushing force varies when I press on the throttle with my heel and I can't Keep constant braking, you can see and feel the difference and the passenger next to me flies around inside the car and this is embarissing. In sim racing we all get away with it but not on real tracks. Maybe the answer is as always, practice.

Would you recommend these or the Fanetec csl load cell pedals?
I have them and for me it works flawlessly. No reason for me to upgrade it. But i do want to upgrade my wheelbase from T300 to Fanatec CSL DD when it comes out.
You haven't been paying attention watching sim racing garage i'm afraid and kinda curious why Barry himself don't mention it, but if you watch closely you'd notice the pivot for the break LC pedal is made out of metal.
How about If I go from t3pa pro pedals without loadcell to this set? Will I feel any big diffrence in braking? And throttle?

@@christianschirdewan7657 I did yes.... And there is diffrence in beaking with loadcell and my T-LCM compare to my old T3PA Pro with brake mod....
And the T-LCM loadcell is up to 100kg, so thats good. I am not racing with less than 90kg, on iracing I am between 93 and 100kg, depending on car I drive.... And I never lock up my wheel anymore and trailbraking and the feel for the braking is better now.
So for me it was worth the upgrade to T-LCM pedals.

So I know this is an old video but my load cell on my v3 is busted and fanatec doesn’t answer emails many days later. Do u think this is a great second option or am I wasting my time thanks. Seems like u like them but going from v3 will I not be happy
I know this is old but put 5 washers on before you put the top red spring on and it eliminate the middle preload completely 👍👍👍
Questions,, I race nascar on ps4, some road courses not much, I don't need the clutch, so what do I have to do when hooking up anything? I have a T300rs,

That's how they gave us a great priced loadcell product..it's metal and strong built where it matters but then saved money where they could, I think they are great yeah sure they could have made it look better by skipping the plastic in front but then price for us goes up, they hit the mark I'm happy with them and they were a great affordable entry loadcell..Thrust knocked it out the park!

great pedals for the price, break pedal feels great, no need to drill extra holes to my GT track rig.

I like the design lol all preference what di you 4xpect for 200 I think they did damn good In comaprison to the t3pa lol
If you replace 1 of the red springs with a price of poly pipe (looks like 3/4”) cut to the right length you can make it react a lot further up the pedal Especially if you play with the adjustments and set up on a pc

I have the Playseats Alcantara racing chair. Will I have problems mounting this? My T3PA pedals mounted perfect and I did not need to drill.
Didn't you hear?, it has 5 mounting holes but they are not similar to T3PA - So you'll have to drill new holes??

Can you use these pedal under the desk? As in not mounter to a cockpit?
I would buy something else. That 100kg load cell wouldn't be much good unless they're bolted down, they'd move about too much. Get a T3PA set with a 10 kg load cell mod from simracingsolutions.com that would be much better for that use scenario.

Personally... I'd likely go with the CSL Elites... A bit beefier set, better feeling Load Cell, but also keep in mind- the CSL Elites take up a MASSIVE footprint. They won't work with some cockpits, so look into how it would fit on your cockpit.

I had just one question unanswered, can you quantify how much better these are than the stock T300RS pedals?
I'd say they're about twice as good. Longer throw, better brake, higher resolution, wider apart, etc. Pretty easy to justify the price increase
I actually watched this for the gas pedal xd. Ive destroyed multiple gas pedals now cuse the small spring in the pedals from the t150 are not durable at all. 1 actually broke in such way, i could not set a new one in cause it broke the part that keeps it in place
Anyone know if the cockpit mounting holes are the same width apart just vertically different or is it a whole new bolt pattern
The holes are the same width apart. I used the two holes, but the pedals lifted up, so that's why I made sure to drill the extra holes.

can you plug them into the t500rs base? I can't find any documentation to prove this
No with the T500 you can connect them only by USB (= on PC). You can connect them by RJ12 on the TMX, TS-XW, TX, T150, T300, T-GT & TS-PC Racer (but not on the T500)
@@davidwild8932 thank you for the reply. that's what I thought, but couldn't confirm as everyone seems to be saying any thrustmaster base, that's no good for me, and anyone else like me, as I have the T500 and still use it with playstation some, I wonder why they did that
@@davidwild8932 What do you mean no? I've got the T500RS and have them plug in directly into the wheelbase.
@@NeoDataDash Yes but when plugged to a T500 base, the T-LCM is recognized as a T3PA (with low resolution) and not as a T-LCM (with high resolution). It's not the case with other bases (T150 / TMX / T300 / TX / TG-T / TS-XW / TS-PC). On these bases the T-LCM is automatically detected with the High Resolution. You can verify this point with the led on the wheel base. If the led blink 10 times each time you restart the wheel, then it's mean that you are in T-LCM mode. I feel like the complaints forgot about the price. It's like complaining that a Honda civic only has a 2L engine and not a turbo charged V8 ... For the price, you can't expect features that are in pedal sets costing twice the price. :/
they look fine to me but to be honest pedals dont need to look that beautiful since you are rarely looking at them if you are you are doing something wrong

That shiny aluminium is going to be very slippery. Rubber will need to be glued on there for grip.

yes, because you have to plug the pedals into the wheelbase. you only get 16 if you connect the device to the pc via usb

Actually, yes I knew better, but this video ended up being a bit of a "time capsule one" for me...
I was in a really dark place in my life and I needed to challenge myself.
I grabbed this shirt, knowing it was too tight. Put it on, because I knew this fit me before I "let my life go to crap"... And now, 35 pounds lost from that point in my life, this shirt is actually starting to look baggy at places.
So thank you for this reminder, it helps keep me motivated!
I think we‘ll be able to say more about the built quality under daily use in a year. I‘m not very convinced they‘ll withstand a daily racers abuse, but we‘ll see I guess.
So, a year later on and my T-LCM pedals are still going strong. I race around 10-15 hours per week.

There are cars like race cars that actually do have f1 style pedals... some gt3 cars or Le man's cars come to mind.

That surface finish on the pedal arms is horrendous. These were definitely made with cost cutting in mind. Thrustmaster knows people want a higher end product, and even offer some. For another hundred bucks(maybe 50) they could have brought out something substantial and people would still buy.
Buying pedals or not buying due to there looks gets you nothing on track and TM knows that.

Just drill the damn thing, pedals should be drilled for all cockpits in the market and cockpits should be drilled for all pedals. Some might think it's an easy DIY but at least I know someone so stupid in DIY that he spent about 100€ renting drills for days just to drill for a Fanatec handbrake and still only got 2 halls right, this person is me 🤣. Drill it companies, it will cost you nothing. (shout out to my Fanatec CSP which has at least 8 holes and infinitive adjustability options.)
The problem is they are using a new mounting system, these pedals deal with way more force than anything else in their lineup, so Thrustmaster had to change things, as it is a new design, old cockpits ain't going to have the holes hence providing a drill template.
Now they could have just used mounting holes of a similar pattern to other companies, but I'm unsure if there could be conflicts with patents.
While it would be nice for everyone to use the same mounting holes, it's just not that simple...
Also, let's be honest, it's not exactly hard, you get the template, draw reference circles, grab a bit designed for metal, small drill bit as a pilot hole (may not be needed but better to do it properly than have a 6mm bit wonder) larger drill bit to bring the hole to size, job done

i am very sorry but these are no tennis shoes.
These are not beefy. They are 99-95% plastic. Only metal is the pedals,pedal arm and a metal pin that holds the arms into plastic. The heel plate is this metal. And the weight on comes from a piece inside filled with sand. So these are definitely cheap as hell build.
