Good side by side. As one who has only ran the T-LCMs; my guess is if you started with them - the FANATEC angles would feel 'off'. But yes, wish the spring on throttle and clutch of the T-LCMs were adjustable, but that is what keeps price down. Finally; to anyone running pure potentiometer pedals...and on a budget - The Thrustmaster is the clear choice.
They are not adjustable but can be replaced...get springs with the stiffnes you want and put them in there its as simple as that. I did that and works perfectly fine. You just have to find springs with the same radius
Love the thrustmaster pedals for 200 dollars can't imagine anything being better at that price even the csl elite with the load cell I didn't enjoy as much Idk why the thrustmsstrr pedals fit me better I enjoy the gas everything on it the brake it's all perfect for me all preference at the end of the dsy and I won't pay 2k for a pedal set so yeah these are perfect and you can compete with the best of them and yes the pedals will help your consistency with lap times it truely does having a load cell and a brak that you like the feeling of and can track better really really helps lol
I replaced the springs for the clutch and throttle pedals on T-LCM. It took me 30 minutes. $5 springs from Home Depot. Also, I combined the red spring with some door stop rubber set from home depot to get that hydronic feeling. I just dig the T-LCM Pedals for $199

I personally went with v3's because of metal > plastic I have no issues of body of padals being plastic but on TM's pedals are built on blastic frame and that made me rethink
Just replaced my load cell yesterday for my v3s using your video actually and watched this video today and in my case I have had the pedals since 2017 and this is the first time I had any trouble with them I messaged fanatec It took about 5 days for a response with a link to buy the load cell in my account I payed for it and taken about 2 weeks to arrive am in Scotland easy enough to replace it using this guys video and cost me 33 pound for load cell and shipping so all in all am happy yes it taken a while to get the part but after 5 years can't complain to much. Just my experience and thought I'd share
I actually have the v3 set and really like them both from a build quality and from how the operate. I upgraded from the Fanatec CSL LC pedal set as a wanted to upgrade and even my 3 year old CSL pedal set still works flawlessly and has been regulated to a back up set if there is ever a need. I have had my v3 set for about a year and they have been trouble free, one thing I do like about Fanatec though is even after my pedals are no longer under warranty I can contact them and buy whatever part I need from them to repair the failed part. Does Thrustmaster offer that same parts replacement policy where a customer can contact them buy whatever individual parts they may need to repair an out of warranty product? Legit question as I really do not know. Another thing to consider is what wheel base you are running and if you plan to remain within that eco system. If a user wants to consider playing on a console and have a plug and play set up without things like a drive hub adapter that as well should be something for a consumer for any pedal upgrade should take into consideration as well.
I’m gonna have to pick up those thrustmaster’s. My fanatec broke so I switched. But those pedals that came with the T300 is rough. At least compared to the fantatec ones.
I literally just have the Tlcm for an hour, but don't know how to appreciate it yet, that's why I ended up here. The throttle feels the same as the t3pa that comes with the T300 to me. So do we just paid 200-300 for the break?
The springs on the TCLM brake adjust the pedal travel, personally I install the 5 washers to override the middle spring and use the difference on the main 2 as my point of full pressure as you can feel when the lighter spring bottoms out
My whole rig literally shakes (can feel it in my butt) when I lock the pedals and it vibrates. Only difference I have the v3 inverted. I actually wondered if I'd miss that when I get the heusinkvelds. Also worth mentioning, they improved the clutch DRAMATICALLY on the v3i's vs the regular v3's.

Get a sa100 bass amp (100 dollars) along with two Dayton Audio BST-1 (40-50 dollars) and trust me u will not be disappointed. I also have a usb sound card which u may or may not need, it’s amazing

I got intrigued when I saw the option in iRacing the first time and just noticed it just uses bass to send the feedback. I've got a few Sabrent USB audio sticks laying around that I can use. I owned a computer sales and service store for a number of years and apparently a computer part hoarder :P Let me know if you ever are in a pinch and need something. Definitely looking forward to that review though! Even as an IT guy who sim races, I never knew Dayton audio made a tactile bass shaker. Much appreciated!

I bought the T-LCM's the deciding factor for me was price + shipping, the shipping costs of Fanatec to my country were exorbitant, in total they would have costed almost 2.5x over the Thrustmaster's. If i could pick one without price consideration I would have gone for the Fanatec but then again if price is not an issue then HE's are the way to go
@@KingFischRacing they are not bad at all but so far my only reference are dfgt pedals which i had modified the brake pedal with memory foam glued underneath. Definitely a step up from them though and my braking is better. However because they are not mounted, on the floor instead they tend to lift when braking heavily or heel and toe therefore I use softer springs. By the end of the summer i will build a rig and mount them on and will use harder one's and will be able to assess the accuracy better and see if I need a harder spring on the gas pedal for when you light up those rear wheels. All in all for the price you can't go wrong i don't notice the sideway sway but I'm very delicate on my inputs like in a real car. Even in a real car the pedals sidesway if you try to notice it or move your foot on them
@@118Shadow118 actually with the modifications i made to the brake pedal, very simple but extremely effective the braking feeling was great, i dare say almost on par with a load cell. Of course the throttle needed a bit more tightening. I just unscrewed the bottom plate and hot glued a large piece ball like shape memory foam so there was a lot of resistance from the start as it was already been compressed. You needed quite a lot of force to push it all the way down so if I were to brake at my comfortable level of braking it would be reaching around 80% travel and from there on i really had to intentionally push it further and because it's memory foam it would eventually compress all the way to 100% this mod allowed me to drive GT cars without locking up all the time and even won a race in them in Gilles Villeneuve track
@@christoforospaphitis4090 I didn't modify mine. When the DFGT was still my main wheel, the pedals felt not great, but ok (I hadn't tried anything better). Then I upgraded to a T300 GT. After a few monthts I had a go with the DFGT again (to compare) and those DFGT pedals now just feel broken.
Sup my dude? I really liked the ( King Fisch Raciiiiiiiiiiiiiing) intro :-) I can actually feel my entire rig vibrate with those little motors when I boot up my PC, but then it gets masked by the vibration of my ButtKickers while in-game.

What about the fact that Fanatec offers both a Brake Performance Kit and Dampers for the V3 pedals? While Thrustmaster offers nothing? well beside the springs that comes with it.. i mean the V3's are really good with the mods installed

I need to use mine on a Xbox in addition to a PC, so I'm locked into Thrustmaster unless I want to spend silly money on Fanatec. This made me feel better about the quality and performance of the T-LCM. The non-loadcell pedals I have now are so unrealistic.
To be honest. People who drive automatic. Wants a spring in the throttle. But when you drive a manual. It has no spring in the throttle. So can’t complain in to soft.

You got the TLCMs at $200? I see them listed for damn near $400, which is why I thought this was a someone fair comparison. $200 vs at least $400 pedals isn't the fairest comparison, but I guess is fair when comparing brands. I would have thought the CSL LC pedals vs the TLCMs would be a better comparison.
I paid about $315 for the T-CLM set last Friday off Amazon. $349 for the T300RS and $180 for the Thrustmaster shifter. The wheels and pedals came Sunday. The shifter comes tomorrow. The GT Omega Stand is supposed to show up today. Then I can finally start setting it up and see how it all works. Hopefully I can order the SF1000 Wherl in August.
Of course I am gonna feel more comfortable with the all-metal V3s, but you didn't elaborate enough about the price to be honest. V3 is much more expensive.

One tip for the TLCM pedals is to move the clutch spring over to the throttle, especially if you don't use the clutch very much.

Yes I can. I used it with my T300rs. V3 will hook up to your computer via USB and then u just map the buttons

I love thrustmaster but these Peddles suck. The spring suck & your right they up to high. Idk anything about the V3. Looking for better peddles.
