I purchased a 2021 Rook from Sierra eBike, Penn Valley, CA (July 2021). Both Sierra eBike and Surface604 (Vancouver, BC) offer premium support, service, parts etc. I ride the same trails where Brent shot the video in Roseville, CA. My ODO just turned 6,000 miles.
Alan.... I just purchased 2022 Surface 604 twist from Sierra Ebike in Penn Valley this afternoon. What trails are you referring to in Roseville, CA? My ODO heheonly has 2 miles on it, so I'm eager to hit the trails.
Thanks for a thoughtful and informative review. Bought a V Rook in part on your take and have NOT been disappointed. I say, if a bike makes you happy, ride it. Chose a Class 2 ebike to maximize bikeway and trail access with decent power and range. Plan A was to stay off the provided throttle as much as possible, and that's what I do. But man, is it handy for quick bursts of speed -- e.g , when merging with traffic or getting caught in too high a gear. Two seconds on the throttle, and bingo -- problem solved safely and efficiently!
The review is only Half complete unless you explain in detail what the riding experience amounts to. Your just riding the bike with back and fourth clips does NOT cut it ….. !!!!!!!! The most important aspect is how the bike handles in various road conditions !!!!!!!
Mcnificnet! dude where you get all these great puns?! ... do they technically count as puns? i don't know. i would say this is worth the extra cash if you want extra options. there's multiple frame sizes and colors and some good upgrade paths here, and some of the accessories are pretty nice imo. but if you just want a stock bike, the Aventure is a SOLID choice too. thanks for being you, Pedro and i hope you have an absolutely stellar day, my friend. peace, and be well.
What's up brother...Looks like you had some fun riding that thing..Like ebikes with 27.5 inch tires..Just ordered an air conditioner from Amazon, there is a heat wave coming my way, and I didn't enjoy the last one, had the dreaded covid when it hit, not fun..I'm in the Finger lakes in New York, everyone I know has covid right now, I was out of commission for 5 days..Put up some walls today, I'm back in the saddle..Maybe I should have gotten the "vaccine", no, just kidding..Ha ha....Peace...

You had me at "warmed butter on sliced french bread" Step thru's, just not my style. With a dropper seatpost i can still swing my leg over high steps at my age thankfully. Last but not least, I dont buy bikes with "thRumb throttles"

AWFUL video. The visual video change far too fast. I cannot keep up to this high speed. I'm not young, but I'm not old. Watched 30 seconds and turned it off. Too bad, you probably had some good words to say. I did Skip ahead to halfway through, and it's the same thing, the images change too fast to be able to comprehend the connection between your words and the visual backups.
