By the way, most arcanists use aliases so that explains why the display names are strange. Baby Blue's real name is Rebecca, Horrorpedia - Joshua, Eternity - Winifred, Changeling - Jessica, and so on.

@@omoriiboy_ some are on their stories, I think some might have say their names themselves and others could be on different content in-game. Also, not all of them have aliases and not everyone who has aliases have their real names somewhere
John Titor's voice actor has me in a chokehold. The way that they rattle off those numbers so quickly tickles my brain.
I love Bkornblume because she's just so intriguing and that's definitely on point for her character. She's supposed to be spy if I'm not wrong, and she says comforting and sweet things but you never knew what's inside her head. She says stuff like "technically this is all contraband" it's like saying to a drug dealer "technically I sell drugs too" while being a police lol

She is part of the Stasi, The East German Secret Police. One of her voice lines mentions her concern about the Stasi watching over the public
The artstyle is what drew me in. It's such a chill game to play on the side and I love the characters and story so far. Some of my favorites are Dikke,X,Tennant, and Zima ❤️

the story is REALLY WELL-DONE, the writing is 10/10, the characters are super charismatic, I'm sure if u love a good story y'all will love this game!
My favorite characters are Baby Blue (SHE NEEDS A WHOLE ARC FOR HER!), Oliver Fog, Click, Pickles and Tooth Fairy (she will be released soon!)

The story, especially chapter 3, is some of the best in gacha. As you've already heard, the voice acting is amazing. You missed it here, but John Titor speaks exclusively in hexadecimal.

The story was great, without going into spoilers
The first chapter (after the intro) was great at establishing the villains and the situation. It was intense despite me not understanding it that well at first
The 2nd was wonderfully engaging, i was hooked onto the story and i NEEDED to know whats next

I've been playing for a couple of weeks, it's amazing, super f2p friendly, amazing combat (easy to grasp, hard to master), amazing story, I ADORE the voice acting, amazing design and all, super great, I highly reccomend

Yep it's been pretty fun so far. I only noticed it in Chapter 1, but sometimes the translations are a little too... literal? Types of humour we don't quite get in the west. But it's really only been there.
My favorite character is probably Sotheby. She is always such a goof.

I swear, I’m pretty certain that the characters are based off of pieces of artwork and objects. I think that’s the first game that I’ve seen that done. Fate/Grand Order has made a few characters like that, but I think Reverse 1999 is the first video game I’ve seen that uses art for characters. It’s really cool. XD

The story and the interface is absolutely unique and is worth the play. The gameplay is very smooth too and the gacha experience is fine since they give you a free 6-star by completing the first few stories (and basically instant 20 pulls from the mail).
You can also finish the current main storyline (end of chap 4) with just the starter units. I've tried it for my other account just to see lol
Did you manage to finish hard using starter units as well?
@@uniwolfgamer1094 late reply but thr events to get more pulls dont need you to have overpowered units but to have solid teams based on each element.
If youre talking abouy hardcore content that test your mettle then no, i think u can theoretically can but u cant level up 4-star characters as far as 5 or 6 stars so there is a big gap of strength.
It wont be a gacha game if you can easily finish all the content without pulling. Also Element u need rotates so u need to have balanced teams in the end. But I still havent spent anything and finish 95% of the content.

First impression wise, story oriented trailers got me. I downloaded it when I finally had some free time. Til now I've discovered that there's still stuff I can learn about. The training they give you don't teach you everything but probably most of it.

REVERSE 1999!! the games story is increidble and extremly captivating. Had to physically stop myself from continuing on at certain points. My favorite character is defnitely Druvis, i just think shes neat

i really wish you also checked out the alternate outfits for the 5 stars and 4 stars etc because then you'd see for example Poltergeist's real face is revealed in her alternate outfit.
I love r1999 one of my favourite gacha games along with genshin, also Tennant is kinda broken early game and even mid to late game, if u get her pls use her. Idk if it is her first insight or her first portrayal(think of them as the constellations in genshin) but whenever you start a round you immediately get a shield for the whole team, she is broken. That is just my experience tho, use this info to help build ur teams :)
Her first insight gives you a shield when you start. Her third insight gives you shield every time you start a round with low hp

Hey Koomaxx, if you liked reverse 1999 I would also recommend you try out Path to Nowhere. It has similar 2D Moving graphics and an AMAZING story. Im about to download reverse 1999 because of this video, I've been putting it off because of my storage, but you made me cave

I've been playing Reverse since the first week and the story, art and voice acting got me hooked up ayy
(my top 3, alongside Path to Nowhere and Star Rail for sure)
Reverse 1999 have so many lore and story for the character and the story too I saw the game trailer and I just play this game when it got release and is great, I highly recommend playing it the story is great and the voice acting is cool, and the game is a masterpiece, and the gameplay is very simple you can play it on pc and phone well... On pc there some glitch and lag because I have a potato pc. I like the character backstory is tell us about their life is bad or good or sad.
My favorite character: balloon party, sonetto, Mr. apple, Regulus, bkornblume, and A knight
I really love characters that are just talking inanimate objects. Mr. Apple and Door are so funny to me.

i played this game on release date and instantly fell in love 100% AWESOME, my only criticism about the game is it can get a little addicting when you wanna get limited time character, Overall, this game is a must play for anyone, fighting and story makes it appeal to everyone, you will love it ❤
