I have created a routine to do all of your aim lab playlists before I go to sleep just to see the improvements that would result from this training in my aim, it was also the last week of Act II in Valorant and I was a hard stuck diamond 1. I managed to reach Immortal 1 in the end of this act and saw massive improvements in my aim. Your aim training was one of the biggest reasons of my improvement in FPS and thank you so much for it!

Believe it or not the Starfighter Assault mode in star wars battlefront 2 is a great way to go through ever varying smoothing motions with frequent opportunities to utilize little micro adjustments onto the next target with your fingertips at the end of each tracking/smoothing motion, it's also great repetition for actively trying to keep your grip more relaxed and not too tense as generally you track fairly predictable sweeping lines then make a small adjustment with your fingertips to aim at the next target. Super casual game but that mode is actually kind of great for repeatedly performing smooth accurate laid-back motions.

is see so many comments saying "why am i worse in the actual game then i am in aim trainer?" here are few reasons why.
You dont have game sense and have been relying on aim trainers for EVERYTHING
Your game will be slower paced then aim trainers
You haven't been doing warm-ups or touch ups on your aim with aim trainer but literally waring yourself out instead
and some tips to do after suing aim trainer or while using one.
Try using the game features after aim training (as in using bots and custom steam workshop maps)
Enjoy your game after playing aim trainer because everyone seems to get furious when their aim isn't the same in game as it was in the aim trainer, if you start raging you will lose control and might end up being mad for the rest of the day (nobody likes that)
    anyways hoped it kinda helped

You say to put your wrist and arm as flat as possible when smoothing. I usually put some pressure on my wrist on the mouse pad when I do accurate adjustments within wrist range, but it's enough to cause friction if I need to move my arm for more range. So I see that I need to relax my wrist to relieve friction, but then my accuracy goes out the window, and that accuracy is key to success. Any tips for this conundrum?

@itsallaboutwins eat more healthy fats and veggies. Try fasting 12-16 hours between meals. You'll feel the difference after several days as your gut bacteria grows into that which processes healthy fibres/fats. Also try to minimise soda and desserts and the like.
As sleep is important also, improve your sleep by eating 2-3 hours before shut-eye time. This will aid your body into completely shutting down as its not forced to process food in your stomach whilst you enter sleep.

There are so many things I did not know. Thanks for this video. I have to proggresively augment my dpi for Apex, while keeping my in-game sensitivity at 1.8 (was at 1.5 when I started a year ago). I am at 850, but it feels a little bit too fast. At 800, it feels a bit too slow.
I also do not have a super huge mouse pad. I have one like what is in the video. And my gaming laptop is right next to my mousepad. My desk's size is a 100cm x 60cm. So I have to manage between having a slow enough sens to be able to track targets and flick properly, and having a fast enough sens for movements and 180s.
Finally, I need to get better at tracking. I tend to lose focus on my target. My brain reacts late. And I physically have poor flexibility in my right wrist when going to the right.

Great vid, but i have a question. What is the best position for your forearm ? Should it be entirely on your mousepad, or half on your arm rest of your chair and half on the mousepad ?
I see alot of pro players having their entire forearm on the desk/mousepad but if I do that i have to adjust my posture in a unnatural way.

The one thing I've noticed for myself is that my aim is best when everything is as consistent as possible. For the arm position thing, for me that means resting my elbow on my armrest and resting it right at the elbow joint so that the pivot distance from elbow to hand is always the same. If I change that resting position from day to day, my consistency goes out the window. If I absolutely had to rest it on the armrest at a desk like you mention here though, I'd probably just try my best to find the most consistent position possible. I have to wonder if perhaps your desk is at the wrong height to be optimal too maybe? I know for myself, a good mousing position requires my desk to be fairly low, almost bumping my knees.

The swiping playlist seems to be the same as the smoothing playlist is that intentional?

Thanks for pointing that out! Ill update the correct swiping playlist when they Steam servers allow me to. "Spidershot 180 ultimate" is the Aim Lab task I recommend to practice swiping motion

I play PUBG, Tarkov, Wazrzone. What sens should I be training since I have different sensitivities (and of course FOV affects those as well) for walking, for ADS for sniper scopes (as anyone else does). Any advice?

What's your opinion on forgoing wrist and just using arm+elbow for flicking?

    • @ronrambokim
      @ronrambokim  4 роки тому +1

Sometimes for big flicks (swiping), the wrist is not enough, so you have to use elbow. If you feel more accurate and it doesn't take too much energy using your elbow for your flicks, go for it

you briefly hit tracking in this video. Im pretty sure it has to do with tendons in your wrist/hand but I have felt at certain points in the wrist theres almost a popping feeling etc. where no matter what you do you cant keep a smooth aim. How did you go about combating this?
